7 Days to Celebrate 2 Years Latest Post- 2/10!

Ok, its been awhile but I'm back  Lets get right into this!

Alright when I left off we had just arrived at Pop and got a quick look at the room before beginning our adventure.

Our first stop was to buy a refillable cup for the week. Although I think the price is good, I am not sure if we would get the cup again. We would fill it in the morning and then put in our bag for the rest of the day. Most of the time when we were thirsty it was time for a meal that would include a drink. I actually prefer water over soda so most of our "free" refills were water. so, even with our limited use I still think it was a good deal. I now use the cup at work and love reliving my memories when stuck at a boring desk.

Next it was time to head to the MK!!

While getting off the bus I could feel my excitement rising. I was to anxious to get in the park. Upon entering we had our first character experience.

We didn't have to wait in a line, we just got to walk right up and have our picture taken. This gave me false expectations for the rest of the week.

As we walked onto Main St I was in love with all the details and decorations. IT WAS AWESOME!! And my first sight of the castle:

Yay for cranes!!! NOT. :sad2: I have to admit the crane really ruined my first impression. I just couldn't stop staring at it and wondering why it was there. (I later found our that they were putting up Christmas lights)

After a few minutes of wondering around we see a show going on in front of the castle.

We only stayed a few minutes to watch the show, we were too anxious to ride our first ride. What would our first ride be??

Stitches Great Escape! Why this first? The 5 minute wait. We really liked it! I thought it was super fun. Brian had memories of this ride when it was something about an alien. If I remember right, there was a feature on the ride where the shoulder harness thing pats on our shoulders, rather pounds on your shoulders. Let me tell you..it hurt me. I am in no way a bony girl..but ouch! I would definitely ride it again though :)

Yay! You've arrived for your 1st day ever at MK!!!!
I hate that the crane was there on your 1st viewing of the castle. They should just work at night with that ugly thing!

I can't believe you loved the Stitch ride. The shoulder pounding did me in, I will never ride that again! lol!

I am still cracking up over here with Brains picture! :lmao: Too funny, I  it!!!!

Ugh. I hate the crane. I would be so annoyed if it were my first trip and that stupid crane was there to ruin all my pictures!

Stitch was our first ride too!

Hi!!!

I've been MIA, too! Just caught up here and congrats on the house contract!!! YAY you, how is RE going?:confused3 I hope well!! Can't wait to hear more, hope you're enjoying the holidays so far!

I'm with you on the crane, too! We did manage to get a few pics with no crane but what a bummer as a first impression for you!!:headache:

Alright everyone or anyone still out there. I apologize for taking so long to update but to say life has been busy would be an understatement. I have lots of news!! :goodvibes . First we moved into our new home New years day and absolutely love it. It was hard to have packing and moving overshadow the holiday but next Christmas we will get to have our tree back up and lots of relaxing, so I suppose it was worth it. I always pictured myself back out in the country but we ended up buying in a neighborhood again and I think it is going to be a great fit because....I'M PREGNANT :dance3::dance3::dance3:

Yep a new house and a baby on the way. I am due July 18th (the day b4 Brian's birthday) We are very very excited for this part of our lives to start. I have wanted to be a mom ever sense I can remember. We told our families on Christmas and the rest of our friends on New Years eve. It feels great to finally be a able to share the news. It was getting really hard to keep on finding clothes to hide it. Although I'm only 13 weeks none of my jeans fit comfortably anymore, but I am LOVING the big ole elastic bands maternity jeans offer. I don't think I will ever return to normal jeans again :rotfl:.

Work has actually been busy as well. I have a house in contract set to close January 28th. It will be my first transaction (other than my own home) so I am a bit nervous and overwhelmed. I think this will be last transaction with the company I work for now. The desk fees are outrageous and it is now a longer drive since we moved. I am not sure if I am going to try to find a new office here in town or if I am going to start being a stay at home mom early. :).

So as you can see things really have been busy, but I promise now that things have settled it will be easier for me to get on here :)

I'm JUST catching up here on DIS and noticed I missed some exciting news! YAY for the new house and CONGRATS on the baby news!!!!!!!!!!!!:yay: SO exciting!!!!! I hope you're feeling well and setteling in nicely in your new home!! :goodvibes

How did I miss this most important update?:confused3

Congratulations on your little gift from God!!!!!!

I think you two will be the best parents ever!

You need to get busy on this TR to have it finished by the time the baby comes
But, please, please stay on long enough to share pics of the new baby in July!

Wow! Congrat's!!

I know the feeling of when you 1st put maternity pants on is the BEST isn't it? It's like "why was I waiting in discomfort so long?"

Hope you have a very uneventful and smooth pregnancy and you are feeling well!

When I last left you we had just finished riding Stitch. As we were walking around the park I was blown away by all of the extremely short lines. I'm thinking the worst I seen this night was 15 minutes.

Our next stop was Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin. The line said it was a 15 minutes wait. As we were staring at the wait time a little girl told us they just rode and it was more like a 5 minute wait. After hearing this we knew we had to give it a try. She was right we were on the ride in a 5 minutes and having a blast. So much that we decided to ride it again :). I have to say that I really liked this ride. It was super fun, even though I lost BOTH times.

We don't look too convincing...

Our next ride was the Carousel of Progress. We LOVED it :yay:. It meant alot to me because my mom talks about riding it with my dad on their honeymoon. Every change I would point out how cute the dog was. We sang along and had a great time. Sadly I didn't get any pictures for some reason

Our next stop was dinner at Cosmic Rays...

Quick Life Update- Things are going great with baby. We are now 17 weeks. I keep thinking I feel movement but cant decide if it is in my head or not. We have our next appointment in 3 weeks. It is going to be SUPER hard to tell them we don't want to find out the sex of the baby, but we are going to try to stay strong.

I am now on leave from work. It just made since to do this at the beginning of the year rather than wait because they wouldn't prorate any of my dues/fees, and I wasn't going to pay for the 8 months I know I wont be working.

I am entirely sick of the weather here. It is currently around 15 degrees outside. We are trying to think of vacation ideas. Brian will be done with his MBA May 2nd and we would like to plan something then. I would love to road trip to Myrtle Beach, but everyone keeps telling me that at 7 months pregnant 11 hours in a car isnt a good idea... Who knows what we will come up with :confused3

Yay for an update!
Y'all look totally cute in the Buzz Lightyear ride pic.

15 degrees! I couldn't imagine. I would be tired of that & ready for a road trip to Myrtle Beach too!

It's going to be exciting for you when you actually get to see the baby on ultrasound.

I think we look a bit ridiculous in the picture lol.

Ya, it has been absolutely awful. We heard that it might get up to 50 next week and I literally jumped on and down with excitement. I hate the cold weather. I miss being able to go outside. It has been hard to keep the baby weight gain down on limited physical activity inside.

We have seen the baby two other times. Of course the first one at 7 weeks wasn't the most detailed lol. The one at twelve weeks was pretty neat though. I loved getting to see the little feet and arms. I'm sure the baby will have lots of changes at 20 weeks, which will be amazing to see!

I woke up this morning to lots of movement. The same thing happened last Friday when I was taking a nap. I'm guessing the baby gets excited that it is Friday too. :) I hope they get more frequent. I don't want to wait an entire week to feel him/her again.
