Greetings from all the way over here in NEWTOWN! Mommommouse had told us about you.... nice to have an addition to the Bucks County group that will be onboard. And, just to add to the "Debbie" group, my neighbor Debbie and her family are going, too! (I just haven't managed to get her to post on here yet!).

I have to wear this cast and special boot on my foot for at least another week. I go back to the Doctor next Monday. Geesh. I won't have any money left for Bahama Mamas at this rate!

lostgirls thanks for the great info on key west- we are just going to walk around and explore- already spent way too much on excursions at the other ports

the time really seems to be flying!! i can't wait but i also know i will feel real sad when the trip is over (geez can never be satisfied)

my DH must be included in the "grumpy" catagory- he will "tolerate" me talking about the trip on occassion but then other times he seems to be zoning me out- (go figure, who wouldn't want to talk all the time about their DCL cruise??)

tera sorry to hear about all that snow- it time for it to stop- we actually hit 67 degrees yesterday- it was wonderful!!

Go figure, why wouldn't any one not want to talk about it all the time. My family just tells me to shut up. My friends are alittle nicer, they just roll their eyes. I just don't understand. Too bad for them! I'm having fun getting ready.

Hi MouseManicDeb and Welcome to our group. Deb has told us about you and your family. I have a DD who is 12 (will be 13 in Sept) Sounds like your DD is just a couple months older. I'm sure the two of them will become friends.

Debbie - I think the reason the schools were closed is because the school buses were covered in snow, otherwise, th roads were fine. We don't typically have snow days here, maybe delays, but no closures. Ours summers are very short here

LostGirls - Thanks for the information on the electric cars. I'll bring the information with us and if we're really looking for something to do, we'll check them out. I would like to check out some of the bars and get DH some new tshirts. Can never have enough of those

Jott3 - Sorry to hear about your cast. We still have a few weeks till we leave, so hopefully you'll get it off by then.

We got docs today!!

For those of you who didn't book directly thru Disney, the UPS package came from them, so you don't have to wait for them to send it to your TA and then to you.


Okay, now my question to those of you who have sailed before. Exactly which documents do you need when you check in?????

I got my docs today!!!!!!!!
We booked through dreams and my DH just called me at work to say they are here!!!! They came by UPS
I can't wait!!! ONLY 24 days to go!!!!!!

this will be our 3rd cruise.
You will need your Birth certificates for all with Raised seals and Drivers license.
I am not sure if you need a drivers license if you have a passport.
I don't have a passport so I am unsure
You also will need a credit card to put on file and all of those cards filled out in your booklet!
Do yourself a favor and get them all filled out before you get to the terminal we always see people frantic trying to fill them out.
and be sure you get to the port early!!!!

More time to spend on the boat the first day!!!!

I will be the one doing the Happy dance in line singing we goin on the boat we're goin on the boat. Yes everyone in my group will be embarassed but I don't care.
The excitement growns as you wait for the line to move through the mickey Ears.

I feel a real commeraderie with all of you DWs of Grumpy! I like the idea of throwing them all overboard! Or stuff them all in one stateroom!

Disney has a list on the box saying what we need filled out. I have all four birth certificates in my passporter, so I think we are good to go.

We plan to get to the port early since this will be our first time, I want to check everything out.

I am SO jealous of everyone who has received their docs! Guess I'll just have to keep being patient... and start stalking our UPS lady!

But, on the bright side, my DH is definitely not a "Grumpy" when it comes to the cruise! He's very excited! He does, however, like to nap a lot... so, perhaps he's "Sleepy"!

oh yeah- doing the happy dance- my docs came yesterday!

now for a few questions concerning the bahamas immigration form:
what date do i put down for bahamas arrival date?
do i put down dreams unlimited for travel agent? and where are they located?

i read in the passporter that if you are a USA resident you don't need your passport just a green card- which i have- my stupid passport still hasn't come and i am pretty angry now

Found out recently that we're expecting a future "DISer" in November, right on DH's birthday!
So, unfortunately I won't be able to partake in the Bahama Mamas, BUT, I'll be happy to be the designated driver for y'all!

Tera, my daughter's birthday is November 12, she'll be 13 then, so your daughter & mine are very close in age! I've told Marisa that folks here have a few DDs her age coming along, and she is looking forward to hanging out with someone OTHER than her family!
I cannot wait to get there!!!!!!!!! My DH is also a Grumpy, yesterday he said he wasn't going to go........as if that would stop me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am SO excited - we got our docs today AND an upgrade - from Deck 2 Catagory 9 to Deck 7 catagory 5!!!
Can't wait to read through all the stuff!

My DH isn't going to qualify as Grumpy - he went shopping (by himself!) today and came home with stuff for Pirate Night. Including a parrot to wear on his shoulder! I think he's more excited about Pirate Night than the kids are!

We are using Fl Tours to get to the Port and hope to be there early as well. Need to do the Ressie Rush for Palo's and Spa.

I'll see my friend that just got back from the Eastern on Thursday, so I'll have a report then!
