7 day non hoppers

Anyone got any experience of buying these? We dont need hoppers or unlimited days, just 7 or 8 days. We are doing 7 park days and a day at Typhoon Lagoon. Was thinking of paying on the gate for TL. Anyone got anywhere that you buy these from? Thanks in advance!!

They are great, you get real tickets and we have had excellent service from them over the years. If you sign up for the Mousesavers newsletter, you get a newsletter on the 15th of every month, with a link to Undercover Tourist for discounted tickets (only a few $$ but ever y little helps, right)

We are unadventurous when investing in our Disney vacation. We always buy directly from Walt Disney Travel Company. I just bought our 7 days non-hoppers this week for an upcoming August excursion. If it was anything else--say a trip to Europe--I'd play around looking for huge discounts and have certainly done this sort of thing in the past. Our Disney trips are always "sacred" however, so I only purchase from official--in so far I can tell--Disney vendors.

So, do you buy your tickets from the US site then? Since, as far as I am aware, the UK site only sells the Ultimate tickets. Since the OP is only looking for non-hoppers and doesn't want the additional water parks (with the exception of a 1-day visit), she would be looking at paying $302 (approx) for a 7-day non hopper (as opposed to paying £278 for a 7-day ultimate through the WDTC). Additionally, Undercover Tourist are an authorised seller for WDW tickets - it says so on their web site and I (and many others) have purchased from them on several occasions with no problems at all.

ETA: Just noticed that you are from the US. Not that it makes a difference but this board is for people planning trips from the UK and the OP lives in the UK so we will be advising the OP on her options as far as buying in the UK. Whilst it IS an option for us to use the WDTC (in the US), it is a real faff to even try and get to the US website, let alone then mess about trying to buy MYW tickets. Why go to all that trouble when Undercover Tourist can provide the same tickets, their prices include tax and shipping and they are cheaper than buying direct from Disney?

Had a quick look at UT prices for a 7 day MYW and a 1 day WP ticket the saving is $7, Personally I probably buy at the gate for £5pp (although I would hope to get a CM discount from friends which would make them slightly cheaper)
Total for the 2 tickets $353/£232 (gate price £237)

Other option would be a 14 day Ultimate which gives unlimited use of all the parks, 2 water parks, Disney Quest, ESPN Wide World of Sports and now mini golf £248 less 3% Quidco = £240

Only £3 more than gate price, £8 more than UT. Might be worth it if you fancy a game of Disney's Mini Golf.

What Wayne says makes sense - if you buy 14-day Unlimited tickets at £248, you are essentially only paying around £5 more for 14-days park entry with hopping plus water parks, Disney Quest and mini golf. Unless you know absolutely that you will not use any of those extra things, it might be worth buying the Unlimited tickets. If you know you will only do 7 days at Disney, definitely don't need hopping and only do 1 water park, then personally I don't see the point in paying the extra, whether it's £50 or £5. That is still per person and I am not sure whether there would be any saving on child tickets (which you would be getting at least two of, presumably)?

After discussing it all day, literally (!!) weve decided to go for the 14 day passes incase our plans change, plus we have a few free days which if we have the 14 day pass we can go into a park for a few hours.

TBH, I would also go for the 14 day ticket purely on the basis that it gives you much more flexibility with a young child.

If you only had the 7 day ticket, should you find you had to leave a park early, you would probably feel under pressure to get back later in the day to make sure you covered everything you wanted to do in that park.

With the 14 day ticket, you could maybe plan more half days in the parks, or maybe just call in of an evening to watch the fireworks/parades. It would also give you the chance of a few half days at the water parks, combined maybe with an evening park visit for fireworks?
