That gas is not 7 dollars a gallon and the month is almost over. That is my point

Only 1 week left in the month and gas is still under 2 dollars a gallon.
I do not think it will hit 7 dollars in the next 6 days

If it matters, in my area, gas is over $2/gallon, a few weeks ago, it was around $1.40, then it just started going up again. Although I don't think it's Obama's fault, as long as I'm not paying $4.50/gallon like I was over the summer.

We have seen it raise also. I agree with you it is not Obama fault.
But the thread was started saying how gas would be 7 dollars a gallon this month.

Well, what I recently read in a newspaper (I think Financial Times) was that the oil companies are stockpiling the oil waiting for the price to go back up. I get some small royalty checks from three different oil companies and one has shut down the producing well, waiting, I assume, for the price to go back up. OPEC is also trying to cut back production and get the price up to the $75.00 per barrel range.
