Thx for sharing this!!:thumbsup2

No problem. Now I really need to look at my pics from the cruise and put them somewhere that anyone can look at them. I'm going to make that my mission this month. :upsidedow

Well, that beach idea sounds good, we did take the shuttle and shopped at the flea market and then ate at a cafe, which was nice. It was just alittle hot and humid.

In Monaco we did take the train to the palace. At the time, my issue was that we had to wait an hour in the train station and then climb up all the steps to the palace getting off the train. My dad was with us and it was too much for him (he had a heart attack a few years ago.) He was breathing heavily and really struggling. So in retrospect, I wish I had just booked the DCL excursion that day. I ran into Maryann and she indicated that her excursion was really nice. I just keep being so afraid that he would have a health emergency.

I've heard that Eze was wonderful but we didn't have any umpf to go there after everything else we did that day. I would like to go back and check it out.....did you book the third cruise?!!:confused3

Yeah, I booked the three in a row and hope to swing doing all of them . . .

What to do in Barcelona after cruise, I am thinking about heading to Madrid for a look see then flying back to Boston From there?:surfweb:

So much to plan so little time!:lmao: :rotfl:

Robert, DD and I will be hitting Madrid next April. We are scheduled to do 2 days there and I can keep a heads up for you if you want? From there we will go to Barcelona but lots of us have done that if you haven't. Lots of places to go and stay there. Upon my return to Barcelona, a married couple-friend and I split the cost of a 2 bedroom apt with a kitchenette and washer/dryer. It was about a 10 minute walk (that was a slow pace) from Las Ramblas but for the price much better than a hotel room. We'd walk to buffets and then we'd walk off all our food. It was also literally across the street from the subway which we could have taken to the main hub just a few stops later. That's always an option if you want.

HEY!!! YOU STOP THAT!!!!

that's because he's a ding-dong!

You tell him, Barb! :rotfl2:

OH! We get to be voyeurs again! Delish! :teeth:

OK, my dear husband seems to think he was ASSISTING me in my job of treat picture posting, I say he was trying to STEAL my job! Who's right?

Well, first off, he's a man, second - ::yes:: he was trying to steal your job. :lmao:

Well, I am showing my bias but I do find walking relaxing, as opposed to being in a tour bus shuttled around, but I can see that I might be in the minority here. My idea of a wonderful relaxing day is to wander around a walkable city with some idea of what I want to see but plenty of time to get sidetracked as well.

Stealing -- no question whatsoever:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I  to walk. Although, I have a feeling this will be a verr port intensive cruise also. Thank goodness I got a deck 2 room. Starboard this time so that we are away from the laundry room

As for The Prince and Princess Night party - if no one wants to bring a formal, try just a basic black dress with a small tiara - I am thinking about doing this. Normally I would reconsider it but because there's a slight possiblityof having 3 formal nights, I might go ahead and get a formal. It was a lot of fun. :goodvibes But even for those that don't want too dress up - please come - we've got to take a bling picture. Speaking of - where's Mike? Missed him the last couple days. :rotfl2:

::yes:: Barb - please do - I can't wait to get a look at some of the spots we are going to be at. Especially Russia - got anything now? :rolleyes1 ( I did mention that patience is not my strong point?)

Why you were in this case and all other cases. :lmao: :rotfl2:  :woohoo:

Apology accepted. :upsidedow But, trying to explain your actions after the fact still doesn't get you off the hook, especially with your wife. :lmao: :rotfl: :dance3:

Sorry about that but at least you have the paycheck!!:goodvibes Hang in there!

OK, I must be going to bed. I'm tired. I was gone from 5:00AM-2:30PM and then from 3:00PM-8:45PM. Quick dinner, help Kathryn with some homework and now off to bed! YAY, tomorrow is Friday!

What are your plans for the weekend folks ??

Us.......well I've got a couple of hours me time tomorrow afternoon as Paul and the boys are going to a football match, it's a huge game Arsenal v Manchester United. I'm going to have my nails done whilst they're at football. I don't have many vices...well apart from handbags and shoes but they don't really count do they :confused3 :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 but getting my nails done is one of them.

On Saturday night if the weather is not too bad we are going to Alexander Palace for their Bonfire Night fireworks display. They normally make it into quite an event and this year they've got a Bierfest going on and the tribute act Queen on Fire so it should be a good evening.

Sunday it's back to the normal routine as the school half term holiday as over so it's an early start to get the boys to Cheder (Hebrew school) and then the weekly grocery shop and hopefully home about 2pm. Then it's homework and a little bit of downtime before Josh goes to a barmitzvah party and we get ready to start all over again on Monday.

Hummmmmm put like that it look busier than I thought :scared1: :scared1:

Yes, I can't complement Disney enough on their Med excursions. We did one of theirs at every port. I can't think of one problem or complaint. Their excursion to Monaco and Monte Carlo was wonderful. We also did Eze which is a wonderful village - it was one of our favorites! So if you do have the chance again, don't miss it.

Actually, tonight is Sophmore homeroom night so, because I have a sophmore homeroom, I have to be at our dance/joust. They have a DJ and a joust. They have a big blow up mat and 2 kids at a time with helmets and gear, try to knock eachother off a raised column on to the mat. They love it! I, on the other hand, love the kids but could think of a much better way to spend a Friday night!:rotfl:

Tomorrow night DH & I are going to dinner in NYC and to see Mary Poppins on Broadway (my b'day gift). Really looking forward to it! I was Mary Poppins in a play in First Grade and she & I have been tight ever since!:woohoo: So we will probably be sitting between tons of kids, but I know I'll be having a good time. DH is a saint!
