Hey Guys - all this talk about google and so I got curious - look what happened to pop up when I googled Small World - ;)

Give anyone any ideas?

OH! I've got a PM - someone likes me! BRB

You can go visit my parents, about 2 hours North of here. They had 8 inches of snow today!:scared1:

Only if I get to wear my boots - darn it! I paid a pretty penny for them and I want to wear them! :rotfl2: There - can that count as my tantrum? ;)

OK Just a few more I promise - here is another one - you know - I have live shots of this from several angles that I took last year if anyone wants to go that route too. Hhmmm.....may have to talk to Mike.

And one last image - I've got to get some dinner in me - the acid is killing me.

Excuse me, for the first time in many years, WE HAD SNOW ALL DAY TODAY IN OCTOBER!! Yikes!:confused3

We had a clear and sunny day. Another in an endless tedium of clear and sunny days. But the weather channel does threaten showers for Friday.

We vote on Saturday on our new contract! It needs 50% +1 to pass. Reading comments on our local news site, I think it's going to be close. If it passes we go back to work on Monday! Everybody keep everything crossed, please! From what I've seen, it looks pretty good. 4 year contract, bonus every year, pay increase every year, no change to our medical insurance, a bit better pension. On the outsourcing, it looks like both sides gave in a little. Vendors would deliver the parts to the receiving areas of the factories, union members would deliver them from there. My job would be protected (at least from the outsourcing) for the life of this contract. That's not to say we couldn't be laid off for other reasons.

Good luck - our trade deficit needs you folks at work :cool2:

I'm guessing you're meaning besides go to Europe?
Go to Tea in Palo!

That would be nice - I've never done that either.

OK this is too cute - and too addicting.

Here's another one but we'd have to modify it since we are not going to Paris!

Since I couldn't post Izzi's biscuit of the day, I'll post our post count! Ms Izzi is still ahead by a mile! (or would that be a kilometer in her case?)

 Everybody!

Decided to take 2 days off and only 10 pages added. Y'all are slowing down already - except for the hard-core Ballyhoo'ers! :rotfl2:

Wow that was with me taking 2 days off - and I was still ahead of Julie. :scratchin - I must talk too much.

AH! I see that AL'N'STEVE have made another appearance again! :lmao:

I guess this is a bad time to mention our weather. :rolleyes1

Ok OK - I've had it - I got my brand new UGG wet weather boots (not an easy feat when you got big calves like I do) and I can't wear them. Darn It! I want cold weather.

Crazy?!?!? Try another 95 degree day when it was only supposed to hit 80 today! I want to wear my boots darn it!

 Congrats JoAnn!

Trust me, you got the better weather deal today!!:thumbsup2 :worship:

Thank you for sharing your weather.....:confused3

I know, I know. We don't actually have weather here. We hear terms like "fall" and read about leaves changing color, but we know it's probably fiction. We do know about snow - it's the white stuff you ski on at resorts - most of it artificial I believe.

We do have two seasons though. There's the wet season (three weeks randomly selected between November and April), and there's the fire season - when everything that hasn't burned in the past 10 years goes up in smoke.

I do love California though....:cool2:

Hi everybody and Joanne!! Thanks for asking- I actually didnt go to the doctor,as I started to feel a bit better on Sat. I must have aggregated whatever I did to my back in the fall at my class party, which is why I was so miserable the next two days. So I am on the mend- I really think I fractured a rib and got a bad muscle pull on my side.I can now almost sleep on that side, and almost touch it!!
We need a new question of the day!!!!!!Andrew.... where are the daily questions????????????popcorn::popcorn::

Is anyone dressing up for Halloween. All the first grade teachers are being black cats this year.. i will try to post a pic on Fri. If anyone dresses up, please post!!

We need a new question of the day!!!!!!Andrew.... where are the daily questions????????????

OK
IF YOU CAN TAKE THE DISNEY MAGIC TO ANY PORT WHERE WOULD YOU GO,

Myself it would be Australia, with Sydney and then if possible up towards the great Barrier, reef, during the winter months here.

New question:

What is something that you have not done yet on a DCL cruise, but hope to do on our Baltic Ballyhoo trip?

Well I decided on the 15 night E/bound not to plan so much whilst I was on the ship and kick back and relax and do what I wanted each day, generally it worked very well, but a few times my kids ended up in the stateroom watching TV!

For the Baltic is too soon to consider really, but I hope to watch Russian Ballet in the WD Theater, on the first night in St Petersburg. (Slight change from Aly and AJ).

October ********Snow********* In London!!!

Very, very cold here overnight...I had to scrape the ice off the car windscreen before Josh and I set off this morning (insert freezing cold smillie) Heavy snow showers predicted in the North today/tomorrow

It's only October !!!!!

Excuse me, for the first time in many years, WE HAD SNOW ALL DAY TODAY IN OCTOBER!! Yikes!:confused3

Forget snow in the north we had snow in North London last night

I had to scrape 3 inches of snow off my car this morning, first time it's snowed in London in October since 1934. I'll post pictures later when I get home
