I had a few spare minutes and thought I'd catch up. Wow! You all have been very chatty the last couple of days!! I think I'm going to need an entire day to catch up on the posts!

It's freezing cold here today too. The Halloween parade our boy's football teams were supposed to be in last night was cancelled due to the cold/wind/possible rain. DS7's team finished up their season this past Sunday, but DS11's team has 4 more weekends of playoffs/championships. His team is 9-0 and ranked 1st so I'm sure they will continue each week. Every night it's colder and darker at practice. I never thought I'd say I wished it was wrestling season, but at least we're in a dry, warm gym all day for those practices/meets.

Have we officially decided on a cruise thread title yet?

That's not being greedy at all, just wishful thinking. But if they offered this cruise I would want to be on it too.
Wouldn't want to see the stateroom bill at the end of this trip tho.

I see Roberts even got a variation of it on his countdown ticker. Funny though his ticker is reading exactly 1 month less than Sallie's. Are you coming to town for a month before the cruise Robert ??

I know, I know. We don't actually have weather here. We hear terms like "fall" and read about leaves changing color, but we know it's probably fiction. We do know about snow - it's the white stuff you ski on at resorts - most of it artificial I believe.

We do have two seasons though. There's the wet season (three weeks randomly selected between November and April), and there's the fire season - when everything that hasn't burned in the past 10 years goes up in smoke.

I do love California though....

WE have a friend that live in Oakdale and have heard the same story about the seasons from him. He says he won't move from the area because his golf game would suffer from the change in the seasons.

Please let me know if as a group you'd like it edited in any manner. I'll be glad to add a design logo as soon as one of you creative people come up with it. I'm good with glue and scissors but not computer graphics.

You can go visit my parents, about 2 hours North of here. They had 8 inches of snow today!

We were cold and I swear that I saw some flakes yeterday! going up to 60 on Friday.

Forget snow in the north we had snow in North London last night

I had to scrape 3 inches of snow off my car this morning, first time it's snowed in London in October since 1934. I'll post pictures later when I get home
