JillJill - I am glad that your husband got his vacation approved. If my boss didn't approve my vacation time I would sick my wife on him. She would be happy to read him the riot act since it is her dad :)

Now that's funny. :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

One thing chalked off the list....flights are booked. :woohoo: :yay:

We are leaving BWI on the 15th, connecting in CTL and arriving at Gatwick early morning on the 16th. We are leaving Heathrow on the 31st arriving back into PHL mid-afternoon. Now to find people to take us and pick us up from the airports, shouldn't be too hard with a bribe.
I'm not thrilled with having a connecting flight going over, but the times worked best for us doing that over the non-stop flight out of PHL, it gets in too late in the morning for us. But we love the times coming back.

Now to get the corned beef onto cook for dinner. Yum... :shamrock:

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone. We had our corned beef yesterday, because Bob has city council meeting tonight. My daughter (who doesn't eat meat) and Madison came for dinner.
Bob put in for his vacation yesterday. I am pretty sure it is a done deal. He just wrote it in the vacation book, and that was that! It's good to be Chief!:rotfl2:

Yes my middle daughter went to school dressed in total Green very sad as not even a teeny weeny bit of Irish in our blood (not counting My Irish Nanny) God Bless her soul!:sad1:

Our town has the highest percentage Irish population outside of Ireland!:dance3:

Corned beef dinner was very good. I had to cook 2 of them and there was only 5 of us and we don't have much left. DD loves her corned beef. At least we have enough left for another meal.

Karen, cute pic of Madison. DD has lots of Irish blood in her and didn't wear any green today. :confused3

While I believe there is some Irish in me from my mother, the PROTESTANT in me had ORANGE on while the conformist in my had green.

Does this mean you only had half a drink to celebrate? :rotfl2: :drinking1 :shamrock:

Thanks, she had a great day. A Leprechaun had "visited" her class while they were at recess and messed the room up.:lmao::lmao:

Since it is a work night, all Caro and I had was iced tea to drink this evening.

I know what your darling Caro had to eat, and it looked really good, but what did you and the girls have? A bowl of Lucky Charms?!? :confused3
