Yes, Tallinn has the sweater wall. Although, I ended up buying a linen sweater at a shop across from the Segway place. Then in Helsinki I bought a sweater at the little shop at the port. I know that doesn't help you since we aren't going to Helsinki. But don't forget in Oslo they will have the Dale of Norway sweaters, the same ones they sell at Norway in Epcot, and they also sold them at the shops at the port in Copenhagen. Sweaters will be all over, so you will have plenty to choose from.

My souvenier goal this time is to get a little Fabrage egg pendant - or one that looks like one. I bought one last time for my friend and didn't get myself one since I couldn't decide. I ended up buying her's on the ship, the price was comparable to ones I saw in the city.

Ok, I'll have to limit myself on the sweaters...are they really expensive (say over $100 a piece)?
That necklace sounds nice:thumbsup2
Gotta come up with a birthday gift for my Mom while we are there, as well as a gift for my DMiL for taking care of our dog.

Yup, and I appreciate your answer. It's just the train to Boston will be about the same time to drive to JFK. I actually asked you before I checked flight prices out of BOS. But then it's only 25 minutes to the train station for us, the same one the VP uses or should I say used to use when he was a senator.
I just wish flights out of PHL were more competitive, they are getting so darn expensive.
We are about 5 minutes from Dulles but their prices are almost always more than the surrounding airports:headache:
We're flying Delta out of JFK. Their price as well as the timing of the flights were exactly what we hoped for. Now watch the price goes down:rolleyes1

Just to prepare this laptop just upgraded the operating system and it took just four hours, not bad ???????

I would have liked to have looked around Wunemunde, pity you can do both, but Berlin was calling and the train anyway thats one less to book, and pay for as its ''in the bag''.

Yes but if I cant book on the 20th there will be an expensive laptop with new operating system in the garden.

Andrew -you know how it goes as far as "hassle-free" night...expect/plan for the worst and hope for the best;)

Which means have something less expensive than your laptop ready to throw...

Yes thats the Stockholm,Vasa and Royal Armory tour $79 per adult very reasonable for DCL!;)

Yup that's the one. I thought it was reasonable too. Just wondering how easy it is to do on our own.
At least we have until 4/4 to make up our minds.
Definitely want to see the Vasa too, but I was planning to do it on our own and in addition to the Viking tour from the company that Celestine found.

Good Morning, everyone.

Good morning/afternoon:thumbsup2:goodvibes

Having been through the process of booking online for two Panama crossings, (was introduced online just before booking of EB Panama in 05) and the Med, in 2007, I would agree, expect/plan for the worst and hope for the best, in fact in 2007 I took matters into my own hands and booked 5 0f 7 ports with my own private tours, to avoid the lottery, and I did well and there was a lot of cruisers annoyed that they couldn't get what they wanted.

These new CC tiers are not helping it just bumps a lot of people forward by 15 or so days, so there isn't a real gain.

We shall see, they are expensive, that might slow down bookings for everything bar StP, and Berlin.

Speaking of laptops, I just ordered a new HP Pavillion dm3t for taking on cruises. Intel SP9300 @ 2.26Ghz & 8MB hard memory! should do the trick!:surfweb:

That sounds good, the specifications should work well, albeit I had a HP Pavillion and found the operating system to 'freeze' a bit, if it doesnt get the return information there and then, ie ok on broadband, but not good on dial up or the ship, where the return is slow, Mine crashed a lot in August 09 on the Magic on its sloooooooooooow, Internet service.

Graphics were very good on it.

We have three laptops and a main computer, on a WiFii network, the three laptops are all Toshiba, and 2 of 3 are now on Windows 7. Plus WiFi printer. We found the Anti Virus software and printer wouldnt work with Windows 7, until this weekend when a patch was introduced.

This is running windows 7 plus I opted for the best wireless card dual band a/b/g/n it should do the trick,:thumbsup2

Yes, the sweaters are pricey. If you have priced them at Epcot then you know what I mean. Even the ones at the sweater wall were pricey. The linen one I got in Tallinn was around $70 or even a bit less, but then it's like a crotcheted sweater with lots of holes so it should be less :rotfl2: . I think the one I bought in Helsinki was around $225, but that's a lot less than the ones at Epcot.

We are now thinking of a KLM flight out of Philly. It's really a Delta plane but uses a KLM flight number as it's cheaper to book thru KLM than thru Delta. :confused3

Well I'll be limiting myself to just one sweater then..which is probably good considering the luggage constraints:rolleyes1
Usually when I'm at Epcot it is very hot with a family that doesn't like to shop so I don't remember seeing the sweaters there.

I think we saw a KLM flight using a Delta plane out of JFK as well.:thumbsup2

The Dale of Norway sweaters at Epcot run $340-$560. Can you tell I keep eyeing them up?

If we go with the KLM flight, it's on Delta from PHL connecting in JFK so that would be one of the flights you would have seen.
Still need to look at flights.

TA has started the pay't process for us, so we'll be all paid on 3/18. :yay: :woohoo:

'Morning All
Sunny here today, but calling for rain the last half of the week. :headache:

Andrew, I heard on tv this morning that we move our clocks ahead 1 hour this weekend.

Beautiful weekend in the upper 50's maybe hit 60 today:woohoo: before a cool down but no wet weather at least untill Friday!:yay:

It's nice to hear we will be sharing our wet weather with you. :rotfl2: I'm also liking the temps being in the 50's. Very funny to still have mounds of snow here and there with these kinds of temps.

My daughter had her first solo recital this weekend - she completed book 1 of suzuki violin! She did an awesome job :woohoo::yay::banana:

Now that that is over I can maybe get my wife to sit down and look at shore excursions with me :)

Sounds like you're going to have better weather than us this week. We're supposed to have highs in the mi to upper 40's and low 50's. It's 38 degrees right now.

Yes Caro our weather, for the most part, will be better than your's. It's 54 right now, but about 9am it was 42. I'll take those temps. :woohoo:
