Film is far too old for me to remember, but I have a mental image, and I bet thats tonight's nightmare.

You cant remember 1980, I am sorry Andrew I did not realize the senility was already setting in :confused3 Andrew try to remember me I am Robert from the EB Repo cruise!:3dglasses:lmao:

I usually rent Tuxes but as we are doing B2B cruises I will bring my Blue Blazer so I can pretend to be Judge Smails from Caddy Shack "Spalding get your foot off the boat!":lmao::rotfl2::rotfl::laughing: :drinking1:

I certainly hope that you wear something else with your blue blazer :scared1: , perhaps white bermuda shorts and knee socks?!? :confused3 :rotfl2: :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

New York is 3 hours take the train Acela (that is 5 hours Washington DC to Boston, or take the Fung Wa Bus:idea:

Train?!? :scared1: We'll just drive to JFK since the flights from Boston are more.

:thumbsup2 Thanks:goodvibes

Those zip-off pants sound like a good idea:thumbsup2
I had a few for my DS when he was little. I'll go looking for them again in a few months...as he is likely to go up in size and me hopefully down:rolleyes1
Maybe a trip to Potomac Mills outlet (maybe we''ll get a chance to meet up there this summer?)

We are leaning toward renting a DCL tux for the guys partly for saving space in the luggage and partly for the nice formal pics:confused3 The guy's dress shoes alone weigh a ton:headache: Nice to have it all there and not have to pack. We rarely get a chance to dress up like that so worth it for us:goodvibes

And yes laundry is a given...we are a messy family:rolleyes:

So either more laundry or more souvenir t-shirts...decisions, decisions

yeah I was thinking at least one sweat shirt a piece for us, plus light jacket as well,...so we have some variety in what we are wearing in our pictures;)
I'll leave sweaters at home so I have an excuse to buy one.

:thumbsup2
The sweater wall is in Tallinn, right?

A sweater and the Russian dolls are my big souvenier goals:woohoo:

Yes, Tallinn has the sweater wall. Although, I ended up buying a linen sweater at a shop across from the Segway place. Then in Helsinki I bought a sweater at the little shop at the port. I know that doesn't help you since we aren't going to Helsinki. But don't forget in Oslo they will have the Dale of Norway sweaters, the same ones they sell at Norway in Epcot, and they also sold them at the shops at the port in Copenhagen. Sweaters will be all over, so you will have plenty to choose from.

My souvenier goal this time is to get a little Fabrage egg pendant - or one that looks like one. I bought one last time for my friend and didn't get myself one since I couldn't decide. I ended up buying her's on the ship, the price was comparable to ones I saw in the city.

Actually I am far too young to remember that very old film, only people in senior years would refer to it..........

But if you want to dress like something from 'happy Day's and jump the shark, then feel free to do so, we will not say a single thing. (Might laugh a bit though).

Bermuda shorts maybe, no knee sox though & I rarely wear underwear & when I do it is usually something special!:scared1::lmao:

Lets see Happy Days came before Caddy Shack old timer! (sure proof that senility is knocking at your door):teacher:

As most Brits from your generation (the 50's) have leather jackets you can feel free to jump the shark (If you can find one (However a lawyer may be substituted in a pinch)). While I sit back & drink & chuckle somethings I enjoy!:thumbsup2:rotfl: Perhaps we could arrange this for Wunermunde it would make for a great day at the beach!:thumbsup2

:wave2:Good Morning All :wave2:
;) and Andrew as well!;):lmao:

Now, I am not a fifties boy as you well know, actually a sixties boy, and Happy Days was repeated a lot, and there was that memorable episode when they went a bit to far, and Fonz 'jumped the shark' and since then its been a saying for going just a little bit too far.

Now are you forgetting, I am not staying in Wunemunde, I have already booked the signature Private vehicle and Reserved train service to Berlin.

So drinks at the beach will have to be somewhere else,

Anyway good afternoon to everyone, and in just two weeks, my PC will be in the garden after throwing it out there in the middle of the night trying to book DCL shore trips.

Great change of discussion direction:thumbsup2:3dglasses

You could always change your plans as I think it would be more fun for you to Jump the Shark in Wunermunde!:thumbsup2:cool2::woohoo:

Did Andrew say free laptop on 3/20 at his house:confused3;):lmao:

Whatever floats your boat, I was just responding to your 411 request!:headache:

Yup, and I appreciate your answer. It's just the train to Boston will be about the same time to drive to JFK. I actually asked you before I checked flight prices out of BOS. But then it's only 25 minutes to the train station for us, the same one the VP uses or should I say used to use when he was a senator.
I just wish flights out of PHL were more competitive, they are getting so darn expensive.

Oky Doky I am sitting down in front of the Computer:surfweb: on the DCL website going over shore excursions & printing out the 1's I am interested in for the DW to review so I will be ready for the 20th!

Are you planning any of the local activities (tours) for Wunermunde or just hanging out & strolling around? DW has indicated that there is no way in H_ll she is going to spend 6 hours on the train to see Berlin! Actually debating Palo's for that night?

Also what are you thinking of for Tallin?

We'll just hang around town for Warnemunde and for Tallinn we'll stroll around. This time I'll print out the walking tour and use that as a guide for going around Tallinn.

Still trying to decide on Stockholm, not sure how to get into town. DD wants to go to the Armory that DCL has in the one tour, but the tour description makes it sound like it would be very doable to do on your own.

Yes thats the Stockholm,Vasa and Royal Armory tour $79 per adult very reasonable for DCL!;)

Yup that's the one. I thought it was reasonable too. Just wondering how easy it is to do on our own.
At least we have until 4/4 to make up our minds.

Just talked to DH about Palo on Warnemunde night and he just looked at me and didn't say a word. I guess that means he'll give it a try since he didn't say NO.:upsidedow

Just to prepare this laptop just upgraded the operating system and it took just four hours, not bad ???????

I would have liked to have looked around Wunemunde, pity you can do both, but Berlin was calling and the train anyway thats one less to book, and pay for as its ''in the bag''.

Yes but if I cant book on the 20th there will be an expensive laptop with new operating system in the garden.

It has it good points & bad points?

Bad point If you have had to much to drink in Wunermunde!:lmao:

Good point it will probably be empty as most are heading to Berlin!

Never thought about that bad point. But beer seems to be the popular beverage of choice in W and I don't drink beer. I was looking around for a bottle of nice German wine to take back onboard last time and it was not easily found, although French wine was in abundance. :confused3 So I didn't get a bottle to take back onboard with me, but DH took a couple of beers back onboard with him.

The good point is a very good point. Will definately have to think hard on that one.
