OK I must have missed something. What is this bus you speak of? And would it be easier to get from Edenbridge back into London to do the bus or just go straight to Dover from Edenbridge?

There is bus from London to the port which DH is arranging, costing no more than £15/head. With luggage etc. I'd favour going to port from Edenbridge, but not sure what the cost of that would be. Sunday travel using any type of public transport is always subject to engineering works and a hugely restricted service. Looking at next Sunday, trains run to either Victoria or CHaring Cross. Both involve a change of train and take just over an hour. There are 1 or 2 trains/hour, the earliest being 0748. Edenbridge - Dover Priory takes 1hour 40, again with 1 change and has 1 train/hour

Also a warning about trains to Dover priory from London; They are usually eight carriages long. But the train is two sets of four, and half go to Dover, and half will go to Ramsgate, and split en route. So ensure you are in the correct part of the train,

Is that the voice of experience speaking?

Quiet to night on the boards. What's happening over the pond as I'm sure you haven't been glued to the X factor final!

Happy Sunday All!!
When Bob and I went on our Great Britain cruise we rented an international phone but I can't remember where. Have any of you rented a phone for an international trip? I would like to have one this time because of the the length of time we will be gone with Madison. My daughter will be having withdrawals and want to say hi occasionally. Any recommendations?

Good to know :) Thanks for the input!

Also did post this before there is now a 'Javelin' train from St Pancras International London, direct to Dover, cutting the time by 50%. These trains will be used for the summer 2012 Olympics. These new high speed trains are more expensive, but should be a nice ride, and for one journey not that much extra.

Just got my letter with OBC of $100 per person for our June 24 baltic cruise. We are a cat 7. Cool! Every little bit helps....What a wonderful surprise!

Just received my letter - it was sent to "Dear Guest" so I am assuming it should be sent to all.

It is $100 for each person in the stateroom

Everyone sure was quiet this past weekend.

Had a great time at Epcot and the Studios on Sat. celebrating DH's b'day. Sorry we didn't get to meet up with Mike and his family.
Went shopping at DTD yesterday and ran into friends that were either working there or shopping.

Better catch up with the main boards to see what I've missed and make sure everyone is behaving.

Ok, now I'm curious as to this letter that's been sent out. Got our mail today and there was nothing in it from DCL, but it could have been sent to our FL address. Better get my friend to check our mailbox down there.

Wouldnt the letter go to your TA if they made the reservation?

It depends on how your TA has the reservation set up. I am a TA and mine came directly to my home address with my name on the outside envelope not to our office.

If your TA has it set up that the welcome packet and the documents come directly to you from DCL then the letter would also come directly to you. If the welcome letter and the documents go to your TA first then the letter will be sent to your TA

I am a TA and we weren't advised that these letters were going out. It was quite a surprise when I received it
