OK I have a very long message from DCL, that basically tells me nothing, at all, there will, be 1 formal night 1 semi formal, at least one dress up (pirate) night.

Shore trips, we are told to ''look every day'' at the DCL website, maybe no DVD, they didn't know about it in 07.

I was really hoping they would decide the theme before Christmas so I could incorporate that into my nieces' gifts. They sure are taking their time deciding things.

Oh yes, well the Transatlantic ones need to be out by very early December by the latest, thoose would include Barcelona, so you would think, that as people book back to back with first Med thoose also would be out then.

Question do they release Baltic with that?

OK, a shout out on behalf of DH. Does anyone has a DVD recorder who is prepared to record the country music awards? It seems we no longer even get the highlights in the UK & apparently Taylor Swift is performing. If anyone can help him out, please let me know. The ceremony is on the 11th November on ABC I believe....

I agree with you MaryAnn that it's up to the person or group what to give, but when reading the FE thread on the main page it seems all the newbies to the DIS, DCL cruising and FE's want to 'top' what they see posted on the thread. It can be intimidating to some when looking at the thread for the first time. There are people on there that are making jewelry for each of the gals, another doing paintings to give to each cabin, some are making scrapbook embelishments (and a lot of them) to give to the adults and those type of things.

Way too complicated for me.

OK, as it is November 1, here is the list of those taking part in the Fish Extender. Unless anyone has serious objections, I suggest it be 1 gift/stateroom. It is about taking part, not "outdoing" others, but i'm sure that caveat is unnecessary with this group. Last date for joining is: Wednesday June 30.

Sure I'll take charge of the postcard exchange. Not sure how to go about it yet, so I'm open for suggestions. But for now I'll just take names and we'll go with the same cut-off date for the FE list and when we get a final total I'll let everyone know how many postcards to bring from their hometown.

Celestine, I Tivo everything (digital video recorder -- not sure if you have Tivo there!) so I don't think I have a way to burn a DVD from the show . . . I might be able to do so after the fact, but I also anticipate it will show up on YouTube afterwards as well.
