Again I understand, as its a money spinner it will be there, I think we have an announcement coming soon, shore trips, new entertainment, Med and Baltic, the Villains show, etc.

Say within this Month. Maybe early Nove.

Hopefully soon. I think you are right about it really being a money maker though. It would be difficult thinking of another big party that they could sell so much costumes, toys, etc.!:rolleyes1

Yes, its win/ win, DCL cruisers like it, if not demand it, and its a fantastic money spinner all day and night for one deck party of an hour or two, it would be difficult to think of anything else on a Disney ship working so well.

:lmao: You make me laugh, thats something I would come out with, Now how-about our own 007 James Bond party in St Pete's, seeing if we can extend our stay, and visit Siberia at the same time?

What happens is Siberia stay's in Siberia!;)

Unfortunately that usually applies to people as well!:scared1:

Made another door magnet for the cruise and thought I'd post it for everyone.

OK, passport question!
Alana's passport expires next year plus she also turns 16 in March. If we renew her passport now(or before her birthday) will it be renewed as a minor passport or would it be renewed as an adult one. So basically, do we weait until after her birthday to renew or what?

I thought all childrens passports were 5 year renewals untill they turned 18.

But hit the GOV website to see!:teacher:

http://travel.state.gov/passport/get/minors/minors_4313.html

Definately wait until her b'day so she can get the adult passport for 10 years.

My vote is to make the pirate: walk the plank....I'm sick of the pirate: . If they changed it up a bit from year to year it wouldn't be so bad, but it's the same old stuff and it gets old after a while. I only go to see the fireworks and don't really pay attention to what else is going on.

On our cruise last summer they showed From Russia With Love on the outdoor movie screen the night we were docked in StP.

The evening we were in Warnemunde they brought on a band to play by the big screeen and had a German buffet. They were able to bring the band on since we were docked there until 10:30 and the band played until 10:00.

Those were our only 2 'special' things that were done since one was an overnight docking and the other a late night departure.

OK thanks, that's what I was thinking, but wasn't sure. We'll have no problems with not having the passport for 6 months previous to entering some countries? I read on the passport site some require that.

I'm so with you on this. I'm done with pirates, it's time for something else. I'm sure Disney can come up with something that still brings in the money. Fireworks can still stay though. I like those!

I wouldn't think it would be a problem because technically you are renewing.

I think with all the castles and things we could see, they should just due some sort or royal princess: dinner. They sure have a lot a princess items they could sell.

:goodvibesGood Morning All:goodvibes
:woohoo:Happy Colombus Day:woohoo:
How about replacing pirates night with a prolaterite parlay!party:

Most countries want your passport to be valid for 6 months AFTER your visit not prior to your visit. I've never seen it needing to be valid that long before your visit.
When we went to Australia they recommend that your passport be valid for 6 months after your visit, but DH's expired 4 months after we were there and it was fine. I knew this ahead of time because I had to apply for the electronic visa and if they would have rejected it he still had time to renew his passport.

That's what i was thinking also. I SWEAR I read it yesterday on the passport site and now can't find anything about 6 months before or after. :confused3 I think I'm just going nuts now! I'll look more when I get home tonight!

Anyway - what do graduated band members do, they come back for alumni night and perform with current band

For pregame the band performs a marching script Birds (just like Ohio State's script Ohio) this year alumnist Nancy Cartwright dotted the i (Bart Simpson's voice) - she declined playing this year - she is a former susa/tuba player

I bet DCL will try to bring in local entertainment, but apart from St Petes its difficult, Germany we are there till 8.30pm but lots of people will have a long day out in Berlin and back late. Other ports we leave 4.30 ish.
