Andy...couldn't find the map showing where we dock ???:confused3 Please explain.

If you look on the DCL website, and the ports on our cruise, ie

http://disneycruise.disney.go.com/cruises-destinations/europe/ports/stockholm-sweden/

There are windows of slides on the photos, each port as a port map of location where the Magic docks:-

Quick hello to all!

Yes, where is Julie??????

Hope you have a nice trip, Barb.

Haven't had a second to look at the shore excursions. That is on our to-do list for this evening, tomorrow, or Mon. (we're both off). We are definately doing DCL excursions. I don't have the time to do the research on each port and we were thrilled with every excursion we did with them on the Med so it's a no-brainer for us.

We actually hit 40 degrees today. Yippee!!! We're doing over to DD's to see DGD who is 8 weeks old now. Then off to a nice dinner that we are really looking forward to. It has just been a very hectic couple of weeks. We finally took our Christmas decorations down. My tree is still lying in the middle of the floor waiting to be put away, but at least everything else is back to normal.

Do you think that many will back out of the cruise? That would be a shame. We're all pointed and paid up, airfare and hotel done, so now we just have to wait 6 long months.......................

I've narrowed excursions down to 21! That is for all ports and these are ones that I'm interested in! Next step is to weed out the similar ones! This does also include St Petersburg where we are doing an Anastasia Tour and Copenhagen where we are going to go around with our former exchange student.

21, still a way to go then, price and time will have a say as well.

Those of you planning a trip with Anastacia, can you share your itinerary to give me some ideas? I wrote and got a basic idea, but I know I am missing some places that I should see.

I suppose I should have said what she suggested:
City Tour
Tsarskoye Selo
Peterhoff Park tour
Downtown
Peter and Paul Fortress
Savior on the Spilled Blood
The Hermitage
St. Isaac's Cathedral
This for our group is $286.89 per adult and $224.03 per child.

Karen, I had my DH (Darren) take the suggested itinerary (from Anastasia) to work as he has 3 co-workers who come from Russia (one who lived in St. Petersburg). They all said that the suggested itinerary was pretty good considering how short a time we are there. I think there was more on it though?

Question about the Berlin Private car tour :

Is this only for suite passengers ?
I noticed once you reserve it can't be cancelled ? But if you don't know the price how can you know if you want to reserve it ?
If you complete the form without having the price, is that considered reserving it ?
How difficult is this to get ? Are there just a few cars available ?:confused3

Question about the Berlin Private car tour :

This is for all cruisers on the ship

Once reserved you cannot cancel it, and only refund is if we do not call into the port
But if you don't know the price how can you know if you want to reserve it ?

I am told prices are out in two weeks, they will not sell out at the moment, when I have booked a trip like this with DCL before, they took my payment on my booking window day, ie 90 days
If you complete the form without having the price, is that considered reserving it ?

Good question, I think you are ok, as they havent put a price out, I have requested as I will do it, but if the price was stupid would pull out.
How difficult is this to get ? Are there just a few cars available ?:confused3
If you reserve in resonable time you are ok, its expensive so only a few will do it.

I can let you know when I get a price.

Now *just* car/van, hire in Mexico in two ports booked this way was $595 half day and $1,000 full day, on this we have to add Train transfers.
