Since Robert seems to be away :confused3
GOOD MORNING
HAPPY FRIDAY:cool1:

He's abandonded his job this week. :confused3 :sad1:
Thanks for picking up the slack Andrew, I was coming to do that myself. :thumbsup2

I just read the boards will be going down tonight at 10:30 for maintenance, no clue how long they will be down. :surfweb:

My cruise dropped in price by $164. :thumbsup2 Any ideas as to why? Has anyone else noticed a drop in price?

:yay: Good for you. I think I'll have to look up mine and see if it's changed. Every little bit helps. :thumbsup2

I just went to check our pricing and the only options it's giving me for our family, 2ad & 1(16yo), is cat. 10 or 11. :confused3 Wow, does this mean it's really filled up recently or just the teens have filled up? :confused3

Curiousity got the best of me and I checked for just 2 adults and got the same options. I guess it is filling it. But wonder how full it will stay as final pay't date approaches?

My in-laws are Art and Sharon

My wife is Kristen

My Daughters are...

10: Kaitlin
Will be 8 by the cruise: Allison

And I'm Phil

Please tell me more about this website for show tickets. :worship: I've never heard of it and it sounds like a better option than standing in line at the half price ticket booth in July. :scared1:

Nice to see someone else that was thinking Robert's plan was a bit much in some places and not enough in others.

Jill

Try www.showpairs.co.uk

It is a bit of luck whether they have what you want & generally you can't book hugely far in advance. If anyone does this & needs them posted to UK address, happy to oblige & we can deliver or post them to your hotel to meet you there

Thanks so much for this. I will definately look at them before we go. I've seen shows there that I wouldn't have normally seen at full price, so I will go in with an open mind to find something.
We saw Starlight Express at the Apollo Victoria theater long ago and loved the show. It was the best one we've seen in London and we just happened to get half price tickets so we thought we would give it a shot and we were so glad we did.

Julie can you put this link in the first post? Thanks

Found this article link on the main boards and thought I would post it here: http://www.consumertraveler.com/columns/disney’s-cultured-cruises-for-kids-in-europe/#more-20569

I haven't read it yet, but saw it generally mentions shore excursions for the Baltics and Med cruises geared towards kids.

Madison is quite excited about the idea of the ball. Hope it's not way way too expensive in the scheme of things. There is still so many other things I would like to do. The ballet school sounds fun too, my older niece is in ballet.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say it will be around $99/person for this and I think I'm being conservative. If I remember correctly on our Carnival Baltics cruise they offered a night time dinner excursion to Catherine's Palace and it was about $79/person.

Hello all,

Been busy this week (what else is new) and realized I haven't got a email that there was a new posting, hmmmm. Anyway, all is good. DD got a delivery date of Nov 19th so we will hopefully have our first DGD on that day (unless she cooperates and goes head-down , then the date is up for grabs) :lmao:. DD is really slowing down although she is still working. I'm a little concerned with the flu showing up in her school. Her sub is in place so she can really stay home at any time, but she's not ready yet because she's not thrilled with the thought of being home 3 weeks before the baby is born with nothing to do. So, that's the latest on the home front.

Thanks for gathering all the info for the cruise and putting it on the first page.

Celestine,

We got our hotel and flight info so just let me know when you'd like me to send it to you to help with the bus schedule.

User error - I just noticed I wasn't subscribed. How did that happen? :confused3

Hi All,

It has been a long time since I have posted anything but I try to read it everyday or two so that I can keep up!:)

I just looked up our cruise on the Disney web site and there appears to be a lot more availability than I have seen in the past. At first all I saw was cat. 10 or 11 as you did but then saw that there are tabs just underneath the picture that will show availability for Oceanview and Balcony rooms. Is this new to the site?

Those tabs must be new and I didn't see them. Now I have to go back and look. Thanks :thumbsup2

MaryAnn somehow I've missed you are having a grandchild, that's so exciting. At least the baby will be a bit older and DD will be healed so you will have a wonderful Christmas. Congrats ... :flower3:

Danielle you can easily get into the city on your own by tube or coach. We take the tube into the city and then depending where our hotel is we will either walk to it or take a cab from the nearest tube station. There's a link in the first post so you look at a tube map ahead of time to get your bearrings on which lines you need to take from Heathrow. It's very easy to do.

Hi again,

Do they have places to store your luggage on the tube or coach? We will probably have several pieces of luggage with us and although our DD is a good traveller, we can't always count on her pulling her own bags.

Also, does anyone know if we were to take a cab would we need a booster seat for her since she is only 6?

Thanks,
Monica

Updated -- thanks as always, Celestine, for all your invaluable help!:flower3:

So happy that all is well, MaryAnn -- I know you must be almost unable to wait! I know all will go well and this will be a fantastic Thanksgiving for you this year . . .

On the tube you just sit with your luggage, there's no storage racks. Coach it would go underneath and there is a tiny bit of storage above your seat.

Can't answer about the booster seat in a cab, but DD never used one when she was little over there. I don't think it would be necessary to carry it with you 'just in case' you use a cab.

I just looked the other day and saw plenty of availability . . . it didn't even seem the price of the cruise had gone up much:confused3

I really don't want to have to carry a booster seat anywhere on this trip but would like to be able to take a cab if we need to or would like to.

Thanks again,
Monica
