Since she said NO to the 4 day cruises and you didn't put up an arguement then that proves my point she is the boss. Sometimes men give in way too easily so the women can call themselves bosses by default. But then if you argue too much you will be in even deeper trouble, so the woman is still in charge. We just let you have your way every so often so you don't get a complex. :lmao: :rotfl2: :confused3 :rotfl: :cool1:

Alls I know is that I pay the bills & when I REALLY want to do or buy something it seems to happen!;)

How does it work at your house?:rolleyes1:lmao::rotfl::laughing:

My house works in reverse, and when DH wants something it appears for him as well. I just happen to see it when I check the credit card bills, he doesn't always see it when I buy it. Well...except for the necklace I bought at Japan in Epcot the other week and he signed for the package....oops. :headache: :confused3 :sad2:
I make the vacation plans and tell him when to take off from work. But he sometimes gets a say in the matter, just to make him feel good. :upsidedow

You are just the nicest arent you!:goodvibes;):hug::rolleyes1

No I already ran the idea of a 4 day past the missus & she gave it a thumbs down & why in the world do I want to be in Port Canaveral twice in 7 days it cannot be so I can pay 10% or 20% more for a 7 day vacation?

We took a 4day last summer and I was ecstatically happy with it! I fell in love with the Wonder ship too!:lovestruc

Sure whatever, you all think you are bosses dont you? I think it is genetic or at least chromasonal!:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl::laughing:

Well we deserve the title, we make all the important decisions.......:cutie:

:goodvibesGood Morning All!:goodvibes

y.

I think ''us'' Brits are getting cold feet due mainly to the very poor exchange rate, Izzi posted a while back she has concerns on the costs now, and then has not posted as much.

We all know DCL are expensive, but with the exchange rate falling some 30>40% it makes it very hard to justify.

Today the rate is $1.42 to the £, in the Summer of 08 it was over $2 to the £

I am holding in there, the final bill is due in January and things can change by then, by now I would normally be paying off my cruise, I havent hopping the exchange rate will improve, not expecting anything anove $1.75 but maybe $1.60 would be nice.

I have my summer holiday 09 nearly all paid off, so I will defer a decision until September.

For a 2010 cruise this thread was going far to fast so its nice its slowed down a bit, one thread the 4/25/09 Totrola is still on its first thread!!!

I know I haven't been around much,, I've been ketching up most days just not posting....so I am keeping my beady eyes on you all :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

We're doing the same as Andrew and will probably make a final call on this cruise round about the end of the year, but in all likelyhood I can't see us going due to the cost because of the exchange rate and the recession which has dramatically decreased our household income :scared1::eek::sad1::sad1:

Wll we will see that will mess with my Holiday 2011 cruise plans have to go 2012 instead!:sad2::mad:

Hey Robert assuming we don't make this cruise, my plan is to save like made and go in 2012 instead. In fact that always was the plan until DCL announced they were sailing out of the UK, that kind of threw a spanner in the original planning works. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Dont Forget U will have another BarMitzvah!:lmao:

In 2011 & 2012 we will be doing Holiday cruises you know anytime from the 20th of December to after NewYears. It will be the only winter break where my whole family will be able to go together as my son will be in college!:confused3

On the bright side I will probaly start spending February school vacation in WDW again with the rest using points at one of the DVC resorts!:woohoo::yay::dance3:

Do your kids get a week off in Feb. or just an extra long weekend for President's Day?

We get a week in Feb & April, my guess is that Allen (my Oldest) will go to a regular spring break college schedule (Long Holiday Break into January & week off in March) in 2012;)

Though there is talk of going to the new Hawaii DVC resort over the summer in either 2011 or 2012 with a stop in DL maybe at the new GCV!:thumbsup2

I will definitely be loving those DVC points in the coming years!:cool1::thumbsup2:banana:

You sound as bad as me looking into the future on where to travel, but it's not a bad thing. :thumbsup2
When is the Hawaii DVC supposed to open? We don't own DVC, but I'm curious anyways.

BTW.....We are still waiting to hear from the realtor on our 2nd counter offer, from their 2nd counter offer. :rolleyes1

Yeah we already have my mothers place in Palm Beach, though I told her to look for a deal on a house on the Intercoastal with a dock.
I think it is going to be some time before Florida Real Estate hits bottom!
