My feelings were hurt with the JOJO comment.

So my DD22, has started grad school yesterday, just 6 days after graduation. How nuts is that?

What's everyone doing for Memorial Day? Sorry, Andrew, any bank holidays for you this weekend?

Has Julie left for the UK? Isn't Andrew going to Venice soon?

My youngest has informed me that she's bring 10 friends down to the shore this weekend. I have 3 beds and a pull-out couch. So much for the "empty nest?"

Where did she decide to go to grad school?
I started college the week after I graduated high school so I don't think it's completely nuts at all.

We are heading the FL Sunday night to start moving in our things. I've been told that some of the weeds in our courtyard are taller than the fence. That's what happens when FL gets pounded with rain for many days in a row.
My friend called yesterday afternoon and said they got about 4 inches of rain in about 40 minutes and the streets in the neighborhood were flooded for a little bit. I'm hoping the rain stops by Sunday. I don't think I'm asking for too much.

Well got some information earlier, I loged in, I thoink I ordered it, but posts on the UK dis said it didnt work so went back tried again and its not there, now I know I wasnt in a Dinsey Dream, as I saw UK come up, so not sure why, I even quoted part of the stuff on my post on the main forum.

Actually, she chose U of Miami! I have to get her to be a resident so school is cheaper and I get the WDW FL discounts!

In light of the fact that my girl will be down in Miami for 2 or 3 years, if anyone wants to do a mini-meet, I would be happy to do that in Miami. The only way I'll get thru this is if I visit her ALOT!

That's exciting and a very good school.

The good thing for DD right now is that for WDW's purposes she's already a FL resident with her student ID. Not sure about DCL's requirements but I think they are the same.

From WDW's website:

Proof of Florida Residency
Proof of Florida residency is required—you must provide any of the following:

Florida driver′s license
Florida state-issued ID card (must have Florida address)
Florida voter′s registration card with corresponding picture ID
A college ID for a Florida college
Florida-based military ID

Is DD able to go on this summer's cruise? If she is I would check for a FL resident rate and have it applied to her cabin.

No not really my mother came up from Florida for the Summer! So it is off to the cemetary today & I have a number of apartments turning over for 6/1 so I have my guys working fairly steady one place or another untill the end of the month! Which means no rest for the wicked!

JoAnn, I certainly hope you made it to the beach and it didn't take you 4 or 5 hours. I was on I-95 a couple of times today and the traffic going to the DE beaches and heading to NJ were backed up terribly and that was as early as 12:30.
