Thank You All!

I feel better - glad I was missed.
On a note, took oldest DD out to Northridge. We drove up to Monterey, CA just before we left to take a look at Cal State Monterey Bay . Wasn't too impressed with it. So now DD got confirmation that she will be attending Cal State Northridge. Course, she is too late for dorm living. So we checked out an apartment that is literally 15 seconds walking distance from the campus. So, to save $450 dollars a semester in parking pass permit, we are going to spend $950 on a studio apt (for 8 months) right across the street from the campus. DD gets to walk (and building has no elevator) to campus.
After finally begging, pleading and coercing the older two kids to leave the house, I'm finally getting my wish and on the way home (Northridge is about 1 hr away from me) I got hit with what I suspect is the first of my kids leaving the house blues.

My son is not living with us at the moment (ongoing saga of the Hatfields and McCoys) but the good news is we are on speaking terms. LOL - we are actually super civil to each other. Anyway, I was rather quiet on the ride home and I now realize so was DD - maybe it has something to do with the fact that I told her we'd pay the apt but she'd have to find a part-time job for "expenses" = "food" .
You know - I thought I'd be happy to see my kids leave but really, I'm in limbo - not sure how I feel anymore. DD has helped so much with my youngest, I'm really going to miss that. I hope she will adjust much better than I suspect I might. Gosh - I bet the last one will be the worst - any suggestions on how to overcome these blues?
Welcome back Rjayl - good going Kara - and to anyone else that needs
