Hello everyone!

It has been a while, but just dropping by - work has been hectic as I've been on temporary promotion & have just got a new job which means 4 years of training/studying. Nice to see so many familiar faces are still posting & that people do not appear to be dropping like flies because of the crunch. I guess I'll need to start thinking about a bit of trip planning soon, but will get my August WDW trip out of the way first.

Hope everyone keeps well & I'll drop in again soon, and make a concerted effort to keep on top of the thread!

Just a quick drop in to say Hi to everybody. My hospital rotation is kicking my butt, but it'll be over before too long. Then it's time to get studying for my boards. Only 22 days til graduation!

And the £ falls against the $ on our budget, well at least i got a payment through whilst the rate was slightly higher. Timed that very well.

Glad you timed it well. My pay't was processed on one of those high days for my new Henry that I have ordered. I wish they had waited until it was actually ready to ship.

Just checking in from Cozumel! Ship is Huge & new & beutiful, but it lacks the Disney Magic! Kids Clubs & staff are not up to snuff!
Rented the flow rider for an hour for the family even the little one went on will post pictures when we get back!
Like the Casino

Dining room food is good I would say a step above DCL however they lack the pool side venues that Disney has U have to do the Buffet for lunch no Plutos or Pinnochios or the others. My wife realy misses those as it makes lunch really convenient!

My 7 year old has been sick on & off for the cruise with some sort of a cold

My mother & 2 oldest are off to take a submarine ride!

That's the window that my credit card was charged. But's it's much better than last year's rate of $2.10 when I bought the last one.

That's stinks there's no quick serve lunch and only the buffet.

Looking forward to seeing pics of the family on the flow rider. Your little ones are braver than I would be.

Hope the 7yo feels better quickly, I know how she feels with being sick on vacation.

Glad you are having a good cruise Robert. Hope your son feels better. Isn't it amazing how we really miss the pixie dust when we go outside of Disney. We always find ourselves comparing wherever we stay to Disney. I'm convinced it's a sickness.

I'm finally home! I know you all missed me!

Life has been a whirlwind since Feb/Mar but I believe that I may finally be settling down enough to attempt to keep up. Just got back from a spring break trip to Europe with the girls and about 38 other spoiled brats - you think we complained about Europe? You should have seen the girls! We got delayed by one day in London due to our plane having a generator problem from Madrid to London but we spent the night at the Renaissance Hotel outside the London/Heathrow airport. Did you know the Pound was less than the Euro? I guess things have been pretty bad.

Anyway, not sure if I've missed much but when I logged onto the DIS, I have noticed some changes on notifications. Now, can anyone tell me how to clear the notifications? I've looked at them but they haven't cleared. Anything else I should be aware of?

Now off to see what I can catch up with.

I was wondering where you had been. I thought you had given up on us. Hope you had a good trip.
We had to stay at that same hotel by Heathrow and not by our choice either.

It's been rather slow around here, so you haven't really missed much. Lots of talk of the low valued $ vs. the GBP.

Me too.

They will be fine. Our first real vacation without Alexa was to Australia, so even further away. The only thing that made it easier was that we were used to her being away at the beach for most of the summer without us.
