Not moving down, just looking for a vacation house behind the MK. I have 7 or 8 on my list to look at while we are down. The one house lists that you can see the MK fireworks from the master bedroom window, that's what I want.

Not moving down, just looking for a vacation house behind the MK. I have 7 or 8 on my list to look at while we are down. The one house lists that you can see the MK fireworks from the master bedroom window, that's what I want.

Just curious, what city would that be in? We've been eyeing up houses in Davenport, wishing that we had the money to buy now.

It's Windermere, the zip is 34786. The development is off of Reams Rd. about ¼ mile from Disney University and Property Control if you've been there. You drive past the Contemporary and then past Space Mountain until you get to the 'round house' and turn right then go to Reams Rd. and turn right and it's down the road ¼ mile on the left. There's Disney Executive housing across Reams Road.
The best part about the neighborhood is that is comes with it's own pet, an alligator. My friend, that lives in the development, was looking at places for me a week ago and saw the alligator in the pond and took a pic and sent it to me. It looks to be about 5 or 6 feet long.

I have a friend in the Davenport area, an ex-CM from up here, and that's too far a drive for me and too much traffic. I want to be right at the parks and now's the best time to buy down there. The places are now about half of what they were selling for 2 years ago.

This is really sad, I put on my computer last night (while arguing with Robert) and it popped up that she died........so crazy and sad for her family.
