So we're meeting at 8th and 46th? or is it 45th?...........now that Julie has posted the pizza pics............I CAN'T WAIT!!......... I plan to depart around 9am...........so I'm not late this time!!

44th between 7th and 8th -- right across from Phantom! Yes, don't be late or we will have a big wait for a table when the pre-matinee crowd shows up.

Telling me north and east when there isn't an ocean in sight doesn't help me at all, I need lefts and rights.
So from John's, I go back out to 7th and turn left and then at some point take a right over to 6th and turn left again.

But if it helps, I know where John's is, just one block from the Lion King theater and Junior's, or are they on the same block?
I knew I shouldn't try and think this over tonight.

I guess to make it easier for me I could walk up 5th past Tiffany and then head over to Madison and then up to the Chopard Boutique, might find a shop or 2 or 3 to wander into as well.

True, there aren't many good shops on Madison until you get north of 57th Street, so if you want to go into shops you are better taking your left onto Fifth and then cut over to Madison later. There will be a lot more tourist-related crowding on the sidewalks on Fifth, particularly around Rockefeller center, though.

There are plenty of shops -- they just don't turn high end until above 57th street. Fifth has the good shops in midtown, then turns residential above 57th and Madison becomes the high end shopping haven

We have 'Red nose day' coming up,

For those who do not know its a charity event in the UK to raise funds, and everyone does something silly or funny for money.

And you where a red nose,

And lots are getting in on the act...

and me.

It would have been better with you there . . . with everyone there . . . and perhaps on the Magic but we did have a nice visit. As you know, Joann and Maryann are terrific and we loved getting to know Barb better (Sallie did not come ) . . . maybe I can see you this summer when I am in London but we will see . . .

Thx Julie for arranging this day, it was fun and of course it was great to meet Barb and her DD, my oldest DD surprised us by joining us at the last minute.....we spent the day with her and Maryann and Tom walking around, getting coffee at SB and of course, going to the Disney Store........we took a pic in front of a Magic model there......... .........we are very lucky to be traveling with such nice people!!
