Nope, not 90 days for the European sailings. It's 120 days out for cat. 4-12 to be paid in full, and I believe cat. 1-3 needs to be paid at 150 days out. I checked my reservation confirmation to be sure.

Sneaky of them - moving the payment date early....

It's a lot of money. We'll see how the next year looks....

Mines earlier as its a suite to clarify, why I posted January.

My final payment is due 2/18/2010 & remember if U R going, Disney will now cancel your reservation if U R 1 day or maybe 1 minute past the payment deadline!:scared1:

So dont wait untill the very last minute!:thumbsup2

Sorry I haven't been around much but we're coming up to year end so things go into manic    mode for me from now till start of April.

Also I've been feeling a bit down as I'm sorry to say it's looking more and more likely that if the exchange rate remains at the current shocking level and the general ecomony doesn't pick up then we will have to cancel at booking confirmation time :sad1: :sad1: :sad1: :sad1: :sad1: :sad1 So I haven't really felt like joining in with all the chattylicious ballyhooing :sad2: :sad2:
U can bunk with us Izzi!:thumbsup2  :grouphug:

Thank you for the offer Robert ..... be careful we may just take you up on the offer    :yay:

We could pack each of you in a steamer trunk and check you in at the port and you can all take turns bunking with each of us. :lmao: :rotfl: :cloud9: :rotfl2:

still morning here!
It snowed this morning!

I was wondering if you were going to get snow this morning when I heard there was a chance in your area. Our day was very mild, too bad it sun wasn't out all day or it would have been very nice. I wore my sweater I bought in Helsinki and I just fine.

Don't stress - we're really all in the same boat. That's one thing about this crazy financial situation - it's totally unpredictable. I have NO CLUE if I'll be able to afford this cruise (price being in dollars notwithstanding). We may not have the exchange rate issues, but we have some air-fares to cover, rates for which are also quite unpredictable.
So seriously, there are so many other things to stress about nowadays, that it makes sense just to assume everything will work out for the cruise and put it out of mind for at least another 9 or 10 months.

3/20? Isn't it due at the 90 day mark? Aren't we cruising sometime in July or something? I forget.....

Tom and I did one of us on points and one of us on cash. The one of us on cash had to be paid when we booked the cruise. :scared1: It was a lot of money for us then but at least we're paid up. I do understand the uncertainty, though. I pray every day that this all starts to lighten up. I'm guessing that the airfares will be more reasonable, not less. With money tight, they will need to fill the planes more than ever. It seems in a good economy the fares are outrageous. I have a feeling they will be reasonable or few will fly and they certainly don't want to fly half empty planes. We booked FL for July and got a fare of $239 round trip. We haven't flown during the summer for under $300 in a few years, and that's booking months out.

:grouphug: to all.

Well my biggest issue is my DDs............depending on their schedules next year, will determine if they can come. The problem would be, if I did pay in full and then they couldn't come, I would get stuck. So, I need to see where we are in a year..........:confused3 Possibly, Ken and I would sail w/o them..........TG, we have plenty of time to plan for all of this!:goodvibes

When I left for work it was just sort of snow/hailing but a mile down the road, nothing. Andrew emailed me about an hour and a half later and said school was delayed 2 hours. By the time I got off work everything had melted except for little spots here and there and on some roof tops.

Prayers for Andrew's dad and our family, please. Andrew's aunt(my FIL's sister) passed away today. She had a stroke some time last week and I guess just didn't recover. We don't really know all the details. She lived in Massachusetts and my in-laws are in California. Don't know when the services are and if we will go back.

Thank you all. We will keep everyone informed what happens next. Dad is not in the best health himself and he might be prohibited from flying for the service.

:grouphug: :flower3: Thoughts and prayers for all your family.

Latest news is that 4 Boeing employees were aboard the flight on business. 2 of them were killed, 1 injured and 1 no details released. They are all from the Seattle area and worked in the Defense division. Boeing is flying family members over. I didn't know any of them.
