I think Chanukah has changed a lot since I was a kid. We'd get a little bit of money on the first night, then chocolate coins on the other nights. And Latkas - which made up for it. And yeah, we were all jealous of the kids who got to celebrate Christmas and got the really good stuff. And we'd say "yeah, but we get 8 nights", but deep inside we really knew that they got the really good stuff.

Yeah I used to get 1 good present & the rest clothes!

I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. We had family visiting and had a great time.

We leave for WDW/our 4 day cruise this Friday and can't wait. The boys are off of school today again so I'm hoping to get our packing finished.

You're on! I'd love to see the highest point in Delaware!

That pictures brings back memories of my dad coming home from his business trips from Seattle and always talking about how pretty it is out there. He loved to look at the mountains out there.

The highest point is located in a trailer park that we used to stay at when my dad was working the race track that used to be near there. So it's nothing to brag about or show off, just more of local trivia than anything.

No goodies today ladies, it's a week day so back on the diet. Today it's

6:30 am Starbuck grande skinny latte in my Minnie Mouse travel mug

Breakfast - Sultana Bran with 0% fat milk
Lunch - M & S Prawn Salad (yes I know it's not kosher !!)
Dinner - Chicken Breast with salad

and copious amounts of herbal tea as I detest drinking plain water

G-d don't it sound boring

Not so boring, the M&S prawn salad sounds good. I like the premade foods you get in the stores over there. I wouldn't think of buying the premade salads and sandwiches here, but over there they are very good. I've had the prawn salad sandwiches from several places....mmmmmm.

I don't drink plain water at home but I will when out. Go figure.....

Just read on another thread that for new bookings, DCL are no longer adding any fuel surcharge. I wonder when we'll get any notification of our cruise price dropping

I've been on that thread as well. I'm more concerned about my June '09 cruise right now since it's closer. It doesn't bother me if they give OBC or lower the final pay't amount - they will see that money either way.
I also went onto the DCL site and there's no mention of not including it in new bookings. Wonder if they are just trying to slip it past people quietly so they aren't bombarded with people asking for the refund for future cruises they have booked?

I believe it was the Oldest Daughter orded the Chocolate Milk Shake (Her Favorite!) next time we go we will get the No Way Jose! BCV is one of our home resorts, you have to love Storm Along Bay!

I've always wanted to get to B & C but in all the trips we've done to WDW we've never made it and there is really no excuse as we always stay at either The Swan or The Dolphin. I really wanted to go when we were there in April this year as we were with Sallie (SallieP), Jimmy and Carly and at least we would have had a good reason to order the kitchen sink but yet again time defeated us and we never got there....hey ho maybe next time
