I will admit I was/am part of one of the "clique" threads on the Community Board and that helped A LOT with my post counts!

My dad traveled to Seattle years ago and he raved about some of the sights. I still remember him sharing the "space needle" with us. So, a trip to Alaska originates in Seattle? How long does it take to get there by ship?

I believe it's normally 1 sea day before you reach Alaska.
Where else in the world can you have such an incredible view like this?

When you go to NYC, you can take a side trip down to DE and I can show you the highest point in the state at a whopping 449 feet above sea level. I believe y'all would call that a speedbump.

I think Chanukah has changed a lot since I was a kid. We'd get a little bit of money on the first night, then chocolate coins on the other nights. And Latkas - which made up for it. And yeah, we were all jealous of the kids who got to celebrate Christmas and got the really good stuff. And we'd say "yeah, but we get 8 nights", but deep inside we really knew that they got the really good stuff.

If we're going into a park that has a big coaster i.e EE or RnR then we have to go then 1st otherwise Josh has to ride them by himself as DH does NOT do coasters at all and up until our last trip Ethan has been to short

I used to be a coaster addict, but between the coasters getting much more intense, and my having a few extra years under my belt, I'm afraid the really intense rides are no longer for me. Ah well....

I think it will be similar to 2010 and the Baltic cruises, high summer will be best to sail there, imo.

I would expect them to follow the 2010 5 months away, with an earlier Westbound Panama repo, in April, some Mexican Riviera 7 night cruises, a small repo up the west coast to Seattle, then Alaska cruises in high summer, with a return to LA after, more Mexican Rivera cruises, ( as said like TA/Med/repo/Baltic/repo/Med/TA).

But the magic might not do an Eastbound PANAMA cruise back!!!

It would be so nice to have one of the ships stationed here permanently. I already see the magic words "California resident discount". I sure hope they don't restrict it to Southern California though - that would just not be right....

While it counts as being in the state it does nothing to show the great parts of the city and area around.

Hi everyone ! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We had a great weekend away with family. My cousin Andrew got engaged- we love his fiance and her family is wonderful. WE are all very close. The wedding is going to be sometime summer 2010 I will not get upset about this until I know the exact date. They will start looking for a reception hall after Christmas, so I will hold my breath until then.
I have a crazy week. Tomorrow night Carley is playing her cello with her school ensemble at Lincoln Center in NYC !! They choose 10 schools to play each year, and her school was chosen. This is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity. I cant wait. She also has her
Cotillion Friday night. We are hosting the Pre Party. So, I have to get all the decorations up, clean, cook, finish the last set of school conferences tomorrow, and work full time. I should be dead by Saturday!!! I will try to check in.
I wish there was a way to color code cruise info from the fluff. Dont get me wrong ,I love love love the fluff- I can fluff with the best of them, but I afraid I am going to miss something important when I try to quickly go back to catch up after being off for a few days due to life getting in the way.I know its impossible, but that would be a great idea I think. Izzi will have to keep me updated with any cruise info I need to know!!
Andrew- please put me on the holiday picture thing- later in the month if you can.. great idea!!!

Just read on another thread that for new bookings, DCL are no longer adding any fuel surcharge. I wonder when we'll get any notification of our cruise price dropping
