Thank you for all of the responses, firstly may I all wish you safe travels, no delays, and no bumpy flights and a safe and prompt arrival at your destination.
Must be nice to have this Disney cruise sailing from your shore for a change:goodvibes

Thanks for posting.

Hi All; Just wanted to add us in to the fun:

Normally when we cruise Disney, I am all organized and plan ahead, but this time I haven't had the time.

We are: myself, Krista
DH Graham
DD4 Genoa
DD6 Kalyssa
MIL Sharon
FIL Larry

Is it too late to get on the fish-extender list? I know its late, but I found some cool gifts, and my girls have had such a great time with it in the past.

Cheers to everyone!
Welcome aboard Krista:cheer2::cheer2:

Not too late but on the understanding not everyone on the list may be able to provide you with a gift - some are already on there way so may not even know of your existance!!! Post your stateroom number & I'll add you to the list.

I'm going to do a paper copy of the list & leave it in everyone's FE on the first night just so we are all accounted for. I've included smilis but if you are reading please confirm either on the board or by PM

Thankyou all for your thoughts. Our selected kitten is needing a name change - currently it is called Mars Bar! Thinking Mars may be an option, but just don't know. Need to look at vaccinations, neutering etc. I thought 17 was a good age, but 20 is amazing - you must share the secret of longevity, especially if it relates to humans:rotfl:

Lauren is still enjoying gym and has started cheerleading. It is a really new squad so will not compete until this time next year at the earliest.

Celestine
Don't rush to name the kitten. We took our time naming ours and came up with Reebok (because of the white sneakers)-much better than the previous names we tossed around. Sometimes the best names kind of find you after you get to know the pet for a few days. Only advice on longevity I ever got was not to let the cats outside and to make sure you take them in for their yearly checkups. But then our outdoor cat wound up living the longest (over 20 years) so that isn't guaranteed:confused3

The cheerleading sounds like fun:thumbsup2 Lots of hard work, but that is good for them to have something to work towards. My DS (Andrew) was overwhelmed with marching band when he started high school, but he enjoys it now.

Just checking in! Is everyone as excited as we are??? Yeah! We are leaving next week to London (arrive on the 13th)... staying at the Hilton Park Lane and ready for a Trader Vics Mai Tai. Looking forward to meeting those on Bus #2 and for the Disboard Meet on 7/19 at 3pm Diversions (or lobby).

Has anyone heard if they are granting "complimentary" cabin upgrades at port? Last cruise we were the lucky recipient of a Cat. 3 upgrade! :woohoo:

Hey Janie :wave2:

I would love to get that kind of complimentary upgrade:love:
We're also on bus 2:woohoo:

Hi, sorry you have been forgetten for a few days but WDW has been calling us and we've been meeting up with friends. The next few days will be busy here as well since my brother and nephew arrive tomorrow and then more friends arriving on Thurs. - it's going to be a full house.

Everyone wanting to take part in the postcard exchange please send me a PM with your cabin number and I'll get a list out to everyone either via PM or will leave it at your cabin.

Wow, sounds like alot on your plate.
You'll need a vacation from your vacation.

oh yeah and, :p

Oh I've been looking for that smiley :p

Thanks:thumbsup2

we were kicked off Bus 2.... guess we're on #1 now! :thumbsup2

Did anyone book the Ice Bar and town tour in Sweden? We got the notice of the ship leaving early, which would affect our time (12:30-4) but now we can't even find our shore excursion on the website. When I called they said I had to call back tomorrow when an excursion specialist was there to answer my questions. Hmmm... Kind of disappointed if they canceled it and didn't let me know about it until 12 days (or less) before our trip. :sad2:

So update me Ladies and Gents,

When are you all coming across the pond?

And who is staying in London and where???

Do you know that last week I went to Gatwick, then Heathrow, and was looking at luggage labels and didn't see any for DCL or clues they were on a cruise, some have old labels on them, most wouldn't have attached the cruise ones as yet.

But....................

At London Bridge tube saw a family and the teenage girl had a Castaway Club lanyard on her!!!! And today at Thomas Cook, when I got my $1 bills I was asked what for, replied Disney cruise, ohh one of are staff have just come back from a Baltic Disney cruise and it was fantastic.

So if you see a strang bloke looking at your luggage ask are you ADUK????

We are coming in around 9am on the 15th and staying 3 nights at the Novotel in Southwark. Sounded child friendly, looking forward to doing so much while there, will be looking forward to a sea day.

Yeah, who is that?:confused3

Hey all, catching up after a busy 4th of July weekend. Got it with a heat wave for Michigan 90-95 degrees with humidity :cool2::cool1:

Had to go check on my cabin number. #6089 would be us. Even though I have FE gifts, I don't have a FE so I think I'll bow out of the FE gift exchange. I actually probably have enough "gifts" for all on our chat list so I will just hand them out either on Ballyhoo Bus #2 and or at the DIS meet on the 19th. Thanks for adding me, but please delete me from the FE exchange. I got my hometown PC so we are definitely in for that! ;)

:thumbsup2

Not sure really?? :confused3

We could sign them.

:teacher:

I was thinking of signing our PC's with our DIS board name and then putting an address label with our email or home address on it in case anybody wanted to keep up correspondence after the cruise :confused3 Looks like I'm not the only one with that idea::idea:

Thanks for the info on Stockholm. I didn't know and didn't get a letter. Our DCL excursion ends at 3 so I guess the boat won't leave without us!!!

Boy I'm glad we're on a DCL excursion....they'll be the ones that have to adjust the timing then:eek:

I guess it's safe to assume (never assume???) that we would have been contacted if our DCL tour was changed. I checked the DCL site and our Historic Stockholm with lunch in Sigtuna appears not to have changed, but the Skansen museum with fairytale has been modified to show it without lunch.

It might have something to do with the long lines to get back on the ship in Stockholm. The 3rd cruise was notified that their boarding time will be later as the ship will be returning to Dover later. They are probably working the kinks out as they go.

We are on the Stockholm with Sigtuna lunch excursion as well. Good think they're not cutting out lunch on this one as it is a major part of the tour :lmao:

Thank you for all of the responses, firstly may I all wish you safe travels, no delays, and no bumpy flights and a safe and prompt arrival at your destination.

Also as many of you depart soon, might be a little early, but it has been a pleasure joining in with you on this thread, and I hope you really enjoy your time in our country or capital city. Have a great time, and I hope I might have helped in a small way.

Safe travels and enjoy.

Andrew,
We are arriving early the morning of the 16th and staying at the PP Westminster Bridge as well. Doing the Porter's, London Eye, Thames cruise the afternoon of the 16th along with other DIS boarders :dance3: We are on Ballyhoo Bus #2 on the 18th. We will be meeting up with relatives at Kew Gardens on the 17th. Can't wait, time to start packing

Boy that would be way cool to get a complimentary upgrade! :woohoo::wizard: I'm only putting my cabin number on one of my door magnets so no big deal. If DCL wants to upgrade us, I'm fine with that. :hippie:

We leave Friday night to head over to Minnapolis - with 7 of us the cost to fly was prohibitive when it is only a 6 hour drive. We fly out Saturday night and get in Sunday afternoon (layover in Iceland). We are planning on going to the castle west of London when we get in and we are staying down in Edenbridge.

Can't wait-I'm gathering all my things for packing this weekend:woohoo:

Cindy from the second Baltic cruise said she didn't need bug spray for St Petersburg.
Did anyone notice if any of the others who posted from the first 2 Baltic sailings say anything about bug spray in St Pete?

You know if I leave it at home that's a sure way to know we will need it:laughing:

I haven't noticed anyone else mentioning they needed it, but I know I read or heard somewhere that it was a good idea to bring it. (maybe the DVD?) I figure it's not that large of a container to bring, so we'll probably bring some.

Good Morning All

GOOD MORNING!!!!!
Hard to believe we can say, 'see you all next week!'

Yes I have a van picking us up at 5:30AM to head to the airport!:headache:
We will be arriving a week from Wednesday in the PM!

If I knew that Andrew was going to be at the airport baggage :magnify: claim I would not have hired a driver to take us to the Hotel! How about it Andrew care to give my family a lift! :car: :thumbsup2

I love the cruise I hate the traveling, it would not be so bad if it were just me & the DW, after 4 days with the children in Merry Old I will need the Magic to recover!:dance3::headache::faint:

Yea, Robert, I always say I love to cruise but hate to travel !!

No bug spray was need 2 yrs ago when we were at Peterhof.

We don't need to print out the Guest Information form that we did on the DCL site, do we ? :confused3

Sandy,

An FE doesn't have to be elaborate at all. I've seen fancy ones, and I've seen rooms that hung a small cloth tote bag from the fish. :rotfl2::rotfl2: If you can come up with a bag-like object - you've got an FE!!!!!!:yay:

Well with your luggage, I will put my back out, the Black cab drivers, would go on strike, if I took their jobs, and Anglo >American relationships will strain even further than they are now, so on demarcation I have to declined to be your chauffeur.

WE ' RE NEXT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :dance3::cheer2::grouphug:
