7/18/10 Mickey's Baltic Ballyhoo Part 6

Andrew very strange to see you posting so early in the morning. :confused3

Glad to hear we won't have to hear about you and your 'other family' being stranded on a foreign country and needing money.

'Morning all
I was a little bit sad that he didn't bring the girls and I anything home from Scotland. I guess we should just be happy that he is home safe!

:woohoo: :yay: We sail NEXT month!!! :cheer2: :scared1:

YIPPEE:dance3::dance3:

Funny, brunch is still not showing up. It must be by level. We'll be gold after this cruise so Alaska should be easier to book Palo.

Can't wait for the 1 cruise to the Baltic. You're right, we should be getting tons of good info. Plus it will give them plenty of time to work out the kinks.

Glad to have you back!:thumbsup2

What are you talking about you sailed last month this month every month!:rolleyes1:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl::laughing:

Hey......I last sailed in January. So it's just this month and next month.
If it was up to me I would sail every month but that's not going to happen.

:rotfl2: :cool1: :confused3 :dance3: :woohoo: :rotfl: :lmao:
That was extremely rude of him. :headache:

Hey Ballyhoo'ers... I'm sailing on the July 6th Baltic and noticed in threads back that there are a couple of you all staying at the Royal Garden using DVC points... Wanted to ask you how you plan on getting there from Heathrow and if breakfast was included in the room on points...

Thanks and have a great time on your cruise!

I normally don't mention this, but I have skin issues - psoriasis and eczema

I happen to be in a full attack mode at the moment, but hoping it settles down by cruise time.

Don't worry, none of you can 'catch' it - just looks terrible

That's OK Marla. It will take more than that to scare us off! :lmao:

Seriously, I hope that it calms down so you can really enjoy the cruise.

:rotfl2::rotfl2:
This is one of the great memories Madison has of our last cruise. Her and Papa getting Mickey bars every night from room service!:sad2:

On the planning note, we should be getting our exchange money on Tuesday. That's one thing off the list.

Hi
My daughter emailed your grand daughter on the disboards kids thread. My daughter wants to meet someone for the kids club. Maybe they can meet when we get on the cruise. She is 7 and a little shy but very friendly once she gets to know others. My kids look forward to the mickey bars too, I hope they figure out how to get more...
Kay

FYI everyone, he forgot and tried to get the girls up this morning. :sad2:

Like if they got more Mickey Bars!

I bet his "other family" got stuff!

:headache: I seem to recall him doing that another time as well.
Wonder if he lets his 'other family' sleep in on their days off?!? :rotfl2: :confused3 :lmao:

I'm hoping more Mickey bars are on the ship, or at least something comparable.

Happy Post Memorial Day greetings to all (in the US) :goodvibes I was just catching up and decided to check for brunch availability as well....nothing there for me either :confused3 Oh well!

I was looking at the merchandise and gifts that can be pre-purchased and noticed the bottled water. I can't remember what has been mentioned on the board about pre-purchasing water in Dover and taking it on the ship. Will they allow us to bring some on or not? :confused3 :drinking1

I've got to get busy this week and order my currency, my Oslo Pass and finalize my St. P excursion. :surfweb::rolleyes1. I am anxious to start hearing reports from the 1st Baltic cruise come later this week :banana:

Has anybody purchased any of the Photo credits packages before? :artist::confused: I seem to recall that an 8 X 10 photo is or used to be in the $20.00 price range, can't remember what the 6 x 8 photos cost. (impossible to find frames for ) I'm thinking the packages sound like a pretty good deal. :yay:

Yes, the packages are a good deal. If you don't get all of your photos, they'll reimburse you the difference.

The 6x8 pics are $12.95 each and the 8x10's are $19.95. Target now carries that size frame as does Michael's. I've read other people getting them at other stores but they aren't in our area and I don't remember the names of them.
The photo credits onboard are the same price as thru the online gifts department. We haven't purchased them before since we've really cut down on our photo purchases, but this time will probably get a package as well as the photo cd.

In reference to your above post, the first Baltics cruise doesn't set sail until 6/12 so we all have longer to wait to hear about that sailing. :sad1:

We booked with Eddie Manning, very nice and organized. You do it online at www.limo.co.uk. Only issue was that it ended up being 79 GBP rather than 69GBP. Don't book in dollars, the rate is horrible.

I don't think breakfast is included with the room.

Tried the martini tasting last time & definitely not to my liking! Have done wine twice now, so wondered if they may go for something topical like vodka tasting? If they do, I'm definitely up for that one, or maybe that should be falling down:rotfl:

Celestine

I have participated in every liquor tasting I could on all my Disney cruises. Let's just say that you better not have any plans of driving the ship afterwards! It would probably be nice to have someone point you toward your cabin, too! :upsidedow
