Kara is going to be looking for Life Guard t shirts from each country
OK...I know that the location of the London Disney Store was posted earlier, but I just can't remember if it was Oxford...Oxfordshire...street...boulevard... (I have the memory of a gnat)
Thanks for the help.
Youngs Double Chocolate is a Stout, like Guiness.....personally cannot stand Stout. I drink bitters like Boddingtons, John Smiths creamflow or Jack Daniels with Dr Peppa oh yessss.
Judging by the reviews Youngs Double Choc is a gimmick beer with 212 calories a pint. If you are looking for Young's Pubs use this link www.youngs.co.uk/pubs.asp

It is a stout, I have always found it very drinkable, but I will admit that stouts are an acquired taste.

Which Oslo excursion did you have ? We Have been there and it's very easy to do on your own.
.
It was a viking ship ride. My daughter was really looking forward to it, although it is saving me a bunch of money because even the baby had to pay over $100 for that excursion. We are gonna take your advice and do it on our own.
Jen
Someone who might be there at the time (she lives in the US but is from Sweden) asked me which Dock Disney will use in Stockholm.
I couldn't find an answer to this on the Disneycruise site, does anyone happen to know?
It seems as if there is a large main dock, a smaller one nearby which the Magic is probably too big for, and then one 3-4 miles away.
Thanks in advance.
We're doing Oslo on our own as well. Planning on taking the ferry over to the Viking ship museum. Then we're taking the ferry back into town just to stroll around the city and see Oslo. I'm trying to keep the pace of these excursions nice and relaxed for the Mrs. so she'll let me take a Med cruise next yr.![]()
They sometimes have mini samplers. They will post specials during the cruise. I find it difficult to plan a spa trip in advance as I am always afraid of missing something fun elsewhere on the ship. I did the Ladies Night Out on my first cruise which in retrospect was a mistake as I would have rather spent the time exploring the ship. I live near a Red Door Spa at home and the treatments are very similar cost/quality-wise.Happy Fathers Day to all the dis-dads! Got a call today from DCL, our shore excursion for Oslo has been canceled. Not sure what to replace it with now.![]()
Can't beleive less than 3 weeks till we leave for our pre-cruise whirl wind trip through Scotland and England.
Thinking about trying the spa for the first time, without breaking the bank, any suggestions?
Jen
Except for Laurie saying that it was her that got the names of the places mixed up, I was going to say that maybe it was my husbands other wife that had posted that!![]()

A bit about the Magic in St Petersburg!
Saw that Double Chocolate Stout at Wegmans the other day...but I'm not a beer drinkerI'm going to go out on a limb and say the draft selections will be the same as if the ship was still ported in the US based on the 6 pak selection. My DH will also pick up local beer in each port.
Now tell me more about Youngs Double Chocolate.....is it a stout or a porter and where do we find it? Sounds yummy to me.![]()
Hey ThomasAccording to a quick blurb on the Baltic thread, The Ball is a winner! This is very exciting to me as we booked it. It's so expensive and they give very little information about it. I guess my biggest concern about it now is the late return time coupled with an early shore excursion the following morning.
This is our 3rd Disney cruise, and first with concierge. I am really impressed with them so far. I have had several emails and 2 phone calls from them to ensure we have the plans we want in place. It's gratifying and helps me justify the cost.
I am grateful for all the information I have read in all 6(!) Ballyhoo threads and the Baltic thread! Thank you all for sharing information and enthusiasm!![]()

Is anyone else having a problem getting onto the Disney Website?

However...I might try to schedule a foot massage this time with all the walking I am doing.
Cool

But if it has choclate in it how bad can it be
Hey Thomas
Yes the Ball looked very nice from the video I saw
Hope you have a great trip
No, a little slow but it has worked for me
Well we will start out the same as you but I'm planning to run my family ragged
I want to see the Viking museum, the Kon Tiki museum and hopefully the Fram as well. Then the Akershus later before we reboard the ship.
Early bed times planned for my crew...provided I don't have a mutiny![]()
When we were in Oslo 2 yrs ago, we did the Viking, The Fram and the Kon Tiki museums. Went back to the ship for lunch.Afterwards went to City Hall, shopped and walked up to the Akershus but didn't go inside.
We bought the Oslo Card and used it for everything ,even the ferry !
We're on your July 18 sailing, but this time we're planning to see the Vigeland Sculpture Park , the Ski Museum , lunch on the ship then the Peace Center afterwards.
Sure is getting exciting, isn't it !!![]()
