One more sleep until my birthday weekend at Disneyland! :dance3::yay::woohoo: I get to wear a BIRTHDAY BUTTON!!!!!

Also, please keep Andrew's dad and our family in your thoughts and prayers today. He is having colon cancer surgery this morning.

Yeah keep rubbing it in!:headache:

Hey, while you are online what were the restaurants near the tower of London you recommended I seem to recall a burger joint but cannot find the post?

When you add your tips before the cruise are they charged to you then or are they added to your onboard account ?

Enjoy the sun, Andrew !

Thanks

I prepaid my tips in December it was charged ot my final account I am pleased i did as the pound vs dollar slipped since then.

:wave2: Don't forget the sunscreen. My DH got burnt to a crisp this past weekend.

:thumbsup2

:rotfl: I was thinking the same thing :thumbsup2
My DH has psoriasis and I have the eczema, but no one in our family has both.
My DH uses a perscription cream (2 of them actually) and they work really well...when he remembers to use them.
Hard to tell if the sun burn helped the psoriasis as his knees are so RED.
I stopped using the perscription for the eczema when they published a link between the cream and cancer:sad2:

:thumbsup2 Thanks!

So funny, when I was walking to the site for the martini tasting on the PC repo I remember thinking I hope I remember my way back to my cabin as it was in a lounge I haven't been to:rolleyes1
Luckily I was able to follow the others back to the main lobby area:laughing:

Very hot here and yes whilst we all have lots of sunscreen on we are all a bit burnt, it was slightly more cloudy today but that is wrose as the sun is still there but you think its cooler.
I am typing this in a pitch black bar with a cocktail its 24c and i cannot see so forgive typos.

We have seen wedding after wedding after wedding here, its very popular with UK Brides as its so romatic place, they set off white ballons tonight and then had a parade around the town for the wedding.

At Morrisons the prepacked stuff was £1-87/200g which is about $2-70. Forgot to check the deli counter, but guess that would be slightly more

Celestine

thanks for the tip on plastic bags

Keeping Andrew's dad and our family in mer thoughts

Sounds like a wonderful place I expect pics & resort info when you return! ::yes::

Lets see I could take a ferry from Barcelona and add a few days or week to the end of the cruises?:rolleyes1:cool2:

Caro hope all went well today for Andrew's dad. :grouphug: :flower3:

Just heard from my MIL. My FIL is out of surgery. The surgeon said it went well and they believe they got it all, but won't know for about 10 days. He'll be in the hospital for 4-5 days.

Yes Laurie we are talking about the bus we are on to the port. I hope you are on bus 2 since I gave you a big cheer.
Yup:thumbsup2:cool1:
Thanks

had terrible storm roll thru here earlier - lost power and every thing - of course power comes back on just in time for bed
We've had some bad storms too. They scare our dog!
Luckily our power lines are underground so we rarely lose power.

I was wondering if anyone booked with Anastasia is going to a ballet. if so when did they squeeze that in?
:confused3 Not us

Wow! I don't think we have injections for either. Tends to just be varying strength of steroid creams. Years ago potassium permanganate (I think that's it) were used which were purple crystals you dissolved in water & then bathed the affected area, but I don't think that is done now. As a psoriaisis sufferer since a baby I've tried most things including dietary changes etc. and I've just had to learn to live with it

Celestine
Oh I remember potassum permanganate from a college chemistry lab..doesn't it turn your skin brown?

Read somewhere that drinking mare's milk is suppose to be good for psoriasis and other skin disorders. In Russia they use kumiss (fermented mare's milk).

Yeah, even with sunscreen my nose seems to burn all the time:confused3
Love the pictures I've seen of Greece so hopefully will get there some day myself.
