7/11 Points ?

I'm thinking of purchasing points at another home resort. If I have 200 pts. at my current resort,and purchase 100 points at another resort [different user year],can I apply any part of the 200 points at my new resort to get the 11 month reservation . Also, can I apply any part of the 100 points to my original home resort. Thanks

You cannot combine points from different home resorts to use at the 11 month period. If one could do that, then people could buy a small contract at say VWL, a large contract at say OKW, where the dues are less, and then make a reservation at VWL using combined points at the 11 month point.

If you purchase a different Use Year (either via resale or by purchasing a minimum of 160 points from Disney) you won't be able to combine the points in the two contracts unless you transfer points from one to the other. That will use up your one transfer per UY for both contracts. Your other option is to book your stay as two reservations, using points from one contract for the first set of nights and points from the other contract for the remaining nights and then asking MS to link the two reservations. As WildernessDad said, you would have to wait until 7 months out to use points from the non-home-resort contract.
