6TH grade Homework Help???

DD brought home a crossword puzzle today for HW. I'm completely stumped??? It's been a long week. We're looking for an 11 letter word for "This is how plants pull water out of the ground in their roots." We have a few letters so far.

The word I found on the internet is "transpirate" which fits the number of letters, but doesn't match the vowels that you've got so far.

Transpiration is the giving off of water by plant parts. DS9 just finished the chapter on plants.
