60's Building at POP

The sixties is the "preferred" building at Pop. You are at the main pool area right behind the food court and bus stops.

We stayed in the 60's building and enjoyed it. We had a 'perferred room' as they called it. it happened to be at ground level, near the kiddie pool and just a short walk to the generation gap bridge. We loved the location. the main bulding (front desk, store, cafe) were close as well.

I was wondering how you know what building you will be in? I thought you didnt find that out until you checked in.

If you book a preferred room , you will be staying in the 60's building. If it's just a regular room, then you will find out at check in. Although you may put in a request for certain building, you may or may not get it.

Stayed in the 60's a couple of weeks ago, and I have to say that I didn't feel that it's worth the extra money. The 50's building seemed closer to the front than the 60's. Plus the 60's is farther from the parking lot than the 50's.

Another question. When my MIL booked this they told told her "Jungle Book". It also says its a standard view room. Does anyone know where Baloo and Mowgli are exactly? Thanks!

The 60's buildings are preferred buildings, meaning they cost more money than the other buildings. Our room was in the 70's B or #10 building on the courner and was a closer walk to the food court and bus stop than the 60's buildings. The jungle book characters are located in the main pool area between the kiddie and the main pool. The pool is awesome. The 60's section is very close to the main hall and overlooks the main pool (very nice pool) I think the only thing I would NOT like about it is that I was afraid it would be lounder there being right at the main pool. Not sure if you would be able to hear that pool noise. Walls are pretty thin there where you can hear outside noise... Otherwise though it is a good location.
