This is midship on deck 6 but am not finding any reviews on it.

If you have sailed in 6082 on the Dream , what are your impressions of it?

thought we'd give this a bump as its been almost two months. Surely someone on the Dis has been in this stateroom?

No real help from me other than we were midship deck 8 and and then aft deck 7 for back to back and midship was so much better. not that aft was horrible, but we truly felt no motion, no noise, nothing midship and had alot of vibration and noises especially docking aft that doing the two consecutively really sealed our minds that midship is the way to go. I did also like being on middle floor(like 7, 6 would work too)... as we took the stairs alot, so only a few flights up or down to most things.

You should be OK. We were in 6556 which was a bit forward of where you are and we were RIGHT above the movie theater. That low bass is great when you're watching an action movie, not so great when trying to get to sleep! :rotfl:

I don't expect that you'd get much noise and you're close to the elevators/stairs.

We were a couple of doors away in 6076, and we loved the location. The stairs and elevator were right there, very convenient and very quiet!

We'll be in 6082 on the 3 day Aug 25th cruise. Don't know if thats before or after your cruise, but I'll post a review after. I am curious if there is a lot of traffic being near the main elevators, but by reviews of other nearby rooms this doesn't seem to be a problem.

yes August is way before our cruise. So please take some pics to post and share your likes and dislikes of 6082.

thanx
enjoy it!

We just stayed in stateroom 6080 and really enjoyed the location. It was close to the elevators and stairs so it was easy to get around. It was also very quiet. I would definitely book this stateroom again. The only downside to this stateroom is that you are just above the lifeboats, looking down at them. But I think you would have to be very far forward or very far aft to not be looking down at the lifeboats. Hope this helps!

but if you look straight out the verandah , you see the ocean, correct????

Yes, you still have an amazing view of the water! But looking straight down, you see the life boats. It did not bother me one bit, but I wanted to mention them so you would not be surprised. All in all, it was a great stateroom and I would stay there again! Have fun on your cruise. :)

Going to bump this up - in case we have some cruisers who have been in OUR stateroom since we last posted. Pictures are always most welcome!

:boat:

time to give this a boost to see who has stayed in 6082 on The Dream and would like to tell us about it............

Hi, Having a little trouble uploading pictures to the boards. By this I mean I'm ready throw my laptop out the window:rotfl: I'll get it figured out. 6082 is the same as all deluxe Verandas, but as it is the last one before the Family Deluxe which are bigger, you have some extra room outside the door. My DD has special needs she can walk uses a transport stroller sometimes. Getting it under the bed was a little bit of a project so it was nice to have room outside to leave it and not be in the way of the cabin stewards. I assume your concerned about the lifeboats. They are definitely right out there. That said if you look down you see them, if you look out you don't. When sitting down you can't see them at all. Really no big deal, but we joked that if there was an emergency forget the muster stations I'm just jumping onto the thing. Very close to the main elevators and stairs, I was worried about noise, but its a few doors down and noise was never a problem.
Okay... really... enter URL of My picture, can't I just drop and drag!! When I get this figured out I will post the pictures

Thank you for checking in. This may help to post pics.

You need to upload your pictures to a site like www.photobucket.com. Once your pictures are uploaded, you'll see three or four links under each picture. Copy the last/bottom link and then come back to the Disboards and paste the link. Click Submit Reply on the thread you want to post your picture on. Your picture should appear on the next page.

Once your pictures are uploaded to Photobucket, the bottom link underneath the pictures should start with IMG. That's the link you'll want to post on the Disboards. As far as editing the pictures after they are uploaded to Photobucket, look right about the picture on the left. You should see Edit. Click on Edit and follow the next set of steps.

Anybody sail this room. I would love to know your thoughts. I like deck 6 and asked for midship. Last time we had an oversized porthole room which the kids loved
