I just love your AoA photos! I was there just after opening but they hadn't finished the mermaid section. Even though I haven't stayed there it is definitely my favorite value resort based on the theming.

Thanks... and me too! It always makes me miss Disney when I do my TR. I usually have another trip at least in the planning to book stages, but not this time!

After breakfast, we decided to browse the store. I love Disney shopping. I knew the exchange rate between the Canadian dollar and the US dollar was horrible, so I wasn't planning to spend a whole lot of money. Or, rather, I was going to TRY not to spend a whole lot of money! It's so hard!

So my plan was to take pictures of things I liked, and then think back and decide what to get between them.

Yes, I took tons more, because I also just take them to see what's new and what's been around a while when I look back. I'm silly like that.

After Blanche rested and I took pictures, we decided it was time to head back to our room. We needed to get everything packed up and ready to go so that we could check in to Pop before lunch. We wanted our free lunch. LOL

At first we had called for luggage pick up, then we decided we would do it on our own because they were too slow.

Me too! LOL I have spent 2 nights, total, there, and still haven't been in the pool! That's been my goal! That's totally my goal next time. I WANT to be in that pool!!!

I forgot to mention that I had no bag at that point! Blanche's bag had arrived (I think) by then, but mine hadn't. I called at AoA and told them that I was checking out of AoA and heading to Pop. So we took my Mickey Mouse carry on bag, my camera bag and her 2 rolling suitcases and walked around the lake to Pop Century.

We stored our bags (not my camera bag!) and then went for lunch, since we now had our free QSDP!

We didn't bother getting our mugs at that point, or we did and then stored them in our bags. I can't remember! LOL I never did take any notes on this trip! But we shared our meal. We got our dessert:

The Pop is my favorite value that I have stayed at. We stayed there just after it opened and everything was new. My dad is also a bowler and we wanted to stay in that section but unfortunately we got stuck in the 2000s.

I just loggedin on my phone (which I never do) to let you know I dont know when I will be back. My computer seems to be having a few issues. It was doing some updates and when it restarted, it didn't come back. I have a blue screen that says to choose my keyboard settings or something, only I cant use my keyboard or my mouse. My brother took a look at it and I have been chatting withmy ex boyfriend (the firefighter) who always fixed it for me before. Hopefully one of them can fix it without erasing everything. I do have an external hard drive that is set to back up my files automatically, but for some reason it doesnt have most of my October/November pictures or the last day and a half of my Disney trip!!! Needless to say I am a little nervous right now. Send some pixie dust this way.

Oh and Elsabear, I loved Mr. Elsabear's tie today!

I hope your computer can be fixed. I had some issues like that on my laptop. I got it fixed and then it totally died a few weeks later basically and I had to get a new hard drive put in. Luckily I only use that one for travel and then basic other stuff and not work...or pictures.

I'M BAAAAACK!

Well, sort of! I had taken my computer to a computer repair place and they said my hard drive was fried. Everything I researched said it was a windows error, so I didn't let them fix it. I have a 1.5 TB hard drive, and they were going to charge me $260 plus tax and possibly labour on top of that to put a 1 TB hard drive in my computer and transfer my files. I asked my ex bf what he thought and he was all no way don't you dare let them! He took it, and I bought a FIVE TB external hard drive for under $200 taxes in, and he transferred everything off my computer onto that, then reset my computer to factory reset, but did all the updates and installed chrome and firefox on it for me, plus an older but legit version of Word/Excel. What an angel! So now I have 6.5 TB to use, instead of one. Weird people. I have to get everything set up the way they like, but I have to start with my banking and the committee at church (I'm the secretary) before I can work on pictures. I am SO excited!

Glad your computer is back up and running, I have not stayed at Pop before but did walk over from AoA and had breakfast there because the AoA was new and the food court was crazy! We did like the Pop breakfast options and it was a short walk from the LM section at AoA. Excited to hear about your first park of this trip.

I'm so happy to have my computer back! It's a little slow going because I'm transferring what I need onto my computer, and downloading programs that I need, but that's way better than paying for a new computer!

Pop does have a decent food court. It used to be even better, but it's still good.

I don't think I could ever get used to mac now. I've been using windows for far too long. I hate when they make a new windows even. LOL And it would have to be way more compatible for school. We have nothing Mac at all, except now we're starting to get some ipads for ressource teachers and special needs students.
