60 Days Out Today - Earliest FP for FOP

My 60 day window is today. I logged in to MDE and was ready to go at 7 eastern. The earliest FP I could get for FOP was 2:45. I took it, but it stinks because it knocked me out of the running for Navi for most of the day. TP predicts crowd level at a 3, so hopefully we can do standby for Navi without a ridiculous wait. Ridiculous meaning longer than 30 minutes. (September is too hot for that. )

I would consider myself fortunate for getting an FP for FOP at all. You likely wouldn't get NRJ same-day anyway.

I'm going in late September and was only able to get FoP on my last day, the day for which I already had a Festival of Fantasy lunch ADR. It's going to be a hustle to do both! My FP is for 9:45 AM though-it was the first one I tried for when my window opened. AK has morning EMH that day so I plan to arrive early and make a beeline for Navi.

We have hoppers, so it's possible, but only planned one day there though.

My 30 day is today and at 7 am there were no FOP, no Navi, no Safari at all :-(

Not the OP but I was able to get my FoP FP for day 8 of my trip. It was the first thing I booked and I had my IPad ready to go at 7:00 EDT on the dot.

Booked mine yesterday. Going to AK day 2 and day 5 end of September trip. I was on at 7am and got Navi day 2 and FOP day 5 both for 13 guests. FOP showed no availability for the first few days of my trip and only afternoon for day 5. You can't get both in same day because of the tiering in AK.

When you book at day 60, go to your latest possible day first if you want the best choices for FoP times. So, if you have a 6 day trip, right at 7 AM go to your day 6 and look up the times they are offering. Book the one you want, and then backtrack if you want to try for another one or a different day/time.

I really hope I can get it .. We get in on Friday and doing AK on Sunday its just how my park days worked out and I can't really push it to a later day so praying that I am able to get it!!!

6a is for the Dining reservation window. It's been 7a for FP ever since the change away from 12:00a.

For those that are not able to get FP on your 60 day ..... keep checking! So may people change their plans and things pop up every day! I have been randomly checking for FP at both FoP and Na'vi and I've seen lots of things pop up!!! Even for same day! I just checked on FoP this morning for TODAY and 2 times popped up for the evening. If you have a particular day in mind just keep randomly checking you may get lucky!!!!

We are lucky as we are doing 2 days at AK, do first visit FP for Navi and second visit, I managed to get a FP for FOP on the last day on my 60 day mark. Still going to try and do FOP the first day as well, if the line is not too long. I would hate to have to wait 30 days out. Just keep checking.

We were at AK on July 6th and did not have a FP for Na'vi River. We got to the park early, around 8:30 a.m. for a 9:00 a.m. opening and headed straight there. We were at the queue by 8:45 and rode it twice before any type of line even began. I was absolutely shocked and also realize they opened the line early, but I'm sure they do that alot.

We were there last week on a day when the reported crowd level was a 7. We got to the park 30 minutes after it opened and went straight to Navi River Journey, it was posted as a 20 minute wait but I think it was more like 15 minutes. At rope drop most people heading to Pandora go straight to FoP which mean you can easily do NRJ in under 30 minutes if you rope drop it instead. Given you are going to be there when crowds are predicted to be a 3, you should be able to walk right on.

Thanks for the info. I was able to get a FoP FP+ for our party of 5 at 7:15PM on our 4th day. We were planning to RD Na'vi and your experience gives me confidence that our plan will work.

Was this for your first day? My FP window opens in 4 days and I was thinking I'd probably get nothing since my trip is only 4 days

For those wondering their chances, today was our 60 day window. We are going to AK on our 4th day out of 7. We were actually able to get FOP FP+ and ROL FP+ for our party of 11. Our fourth day is Wednesday, so midweek. As of right now that day still has FP+ for FOP but none left for ROL.
