There were so many great borders that I had to use almost all of them. :lmao:
Great PP pics!

But on the way, some pictures were taken and it was snowing. I have to tell you, I just stopped and cried when it started snowing as we were walking down Main Street.
CRYING????? Don't you get enough snow at home? :confused3

Maybe that is the reason you were crying. :rotfl2:

We arrived by Mickey and Minnie and the line was less than five minutes. I could not believe it. Our timing tonight had just been perfect for everything we did.
That is awesome!

It was the perfect ending to a magical and special time with our son and his girl.
Sounds like you really enjoyed MVMCP. What a great night! :goodvibes

Ok I am going to check out your FB page. Good for him. You need to fight for what you believe in!!

And yeah Trampoling?????? REALLY??? I agree Kathy.

Thanks, Doreen. It really frosts me; I've not gotten this angry over something in a very long time.

All caught up again! I was only 14 pages behind this time. :rolleyes1

I think I'm a few pages behind on yours and need to get over there tonight.

Looks like a really fun night at MVMCP! We went in 2011 and enjoyed it a lot. I know there have been reports of some very busy parties, but it looks like you chose a good one.

We picked a great party to go to...and we had a blast.

You have some beautiful pictures of Christmas Wishes & the parade with the castle in the background! :thumbsup2

Thanks, but I have to give Des the credit for most of those.

I was sorry to hear about the IOC's decision to drop wrestling. It seems crazy to me! Was this a final decision or is there still hope that they will change their minds??

There is another vote in September when they decide which sport to add. It doesn't look good, but I have NEVER seen a group of people come together so quickly to work on getting themselves reinstated. If anyone can do it, the wrestling community can...we are a very tight-knit family.

I saw your fb posts about wrestling being removed. It's unthinkable. What are they thinking?

The problem is they AREN'T thinking!

I'm not a FB peep  I am sure he did an AWESOME job...

trampolining  ugh...our town HS are the state Wrestling champs...and have been up there for years...this makes NO sense to me

Our high school where Andy and Mark attended has been in the top 8 in the State for the last 20 years; Mark's junior year they finished second after some heroics by my son (one of my proudest moments) and two years ago they finished first. But they are consistently at the top of their field. I feel for Mark's former teammates who have a very good shot at the Olympics in 2016 and 2020 and beyond.

Wow, it sure doesn't take long to fall back behind around here! A little like hanging out on my own thread............. :rolleyes1

Your trip report? Is that thing still on the "active list?" ;)

I have heard some negative things said about the New Fantasyland, especially the way the Official opening was handled, so not a place I am that excited about visiting, but that cinnamon roll does look pretty good!!!

We didn't make it to official opening, but we had no problems when we went...crowded, yes...but that was to be expected.

Cosmic Ray's is always a good fallback option!!!

Love the variety at Cosmic Ray's.

Sorry, don't have to suffer along with you.......especially when I can scroll quickly past the pictures!!! :rotfl:

I knew you were a smart person at times.

NO line for Peter Pan??? I didn't know that was possible. I think I heard somewhere that PP had a line even when the park is closed............

That would not surprise me about the Fast Passes.

Great picture! Definitely need to add MVMCP to my To-Do list!!!! :thumbsup2

I can't believe you've never been...you really must

One of many awesome castle pictures! And I love the way the new projection show looks!

I was very pleased with the new projection show...liked it better than the first one.

Wait a minute, who was that I saw in a picture dancing with Des in an earlier update??? :confused3

The man can do the polka is all!

More amazing shots!!!

Thank you Des.

Amazing how rude people can be these days! Everyone seems to have that feeling they are entitled regardless of the fact you did what was necessary to be there ahead of them! I have seen that so many times where people show up at the last minute and just push their kids out in front like they are more deserving than those who have been waiting in order to have a special experience.

We have become a very self-centered selfish society.

Either one ginormous pie........or a regular sized one that reeeeealy makes you pucker!!! ;)

Maybe I should try that for all the puckering the PP photographers always have us doing.

I have always found something about every Disney parade that makes it memorable and enjoyable, but this one looks like a really great parade! Have I said already how much I really need to add MVMCP to my To-Do list??? :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Have I already mentioned that you need to do it? :lmao:

Great picture with the castle in the background!

That was one of mine. :)

Mark's such a Dumbo..................uh, lover!!! :rotfl2:

It's okay...he is a Dumbo.

Loving me some Chip and Dale!!!

Me too...I'm sorry we didn't get pictures with the real guys this trip.

Such a sweet picture!

Thank you; she's flying home from Florida on Sunday...she's been gone two weeks.

Looks like you guys had a great time together! So easy to see why you wanted this trip to be reserved exclusively for special family time!!! :goodvibes

It was a much needed family time...our lives so busy we often don't get to spend any time together.

Thanks for letting me know about this since I hadn't heard it! This has to go down as one of the most ridiculous decisions in Olympic history!!!

I'd call it THE most ridiculous decision ever made by the IOC.

I haven't been on the board in a few days and I missed a bunch! Great updates - I love MVMCP!

Hope it was a good reason you weren't on the boards. :)

That Santa Mickey souvenir popcorn bucket is so cute! I didn't see those when we were there (I didn't really look either though)

I saw him the first day and told Mark I had to have him.

You got some great shots of the castle, holiday Wishes, and the parade :) I agree with you about Holiday Wishes - what a great show! I cried a bit myself.

Welcome to our growing group of criers. :goodvibes

I also love the PP picture of you and Des in front of the castle.

Thank you.

It looks like you all had a great night!

It really was and one we will never forget it.

I can't say that I'm a huge fan of wrestling, but it is ridiculous that it is being cut from the Olympics. I mean it is one of the handful of events that is pretty much synonymous with the Olympics. They cut wrestling... but oh yeah, we still have trampoline!!!!! :thumbsup2 :crazy2:

Unless you wrestle or spend a lot of time with someone, it's not going to grab you in like football or baseball (although I have to say my oldest played baseball and basketball through high school and my youngest played soccer, baseball, basketball, football and wrestled...and I'd' take watching wrestling over any of them). But it truly makes no sense dropping it.

I don't have a problem with the addition of golf and rugby. I don't want to see the Olympics become tarnished by the fact that there are "too many" events, but at the same time, why does a traditional sport have to be cut so that they can add a new one??? :confused3

I hate golf. What I hate more is that the Olympics are supposed to be for the amateurs...so get rid of the pros that are participating.

Whew, I was 10 pages and three updates behind. All caught up now!

I know you had a busy time at work...no worries.

I know that you had no lines that night if Peter Pan was a walk on! I've never seen it with a short line.

It's been forever since I saw no line for Peter Pan.

I love the Mickey Popcorn Container! Popcorn is not my favorite snack
but the containers at Disney are so cute.

I could eat popcorn every day of my life. :goodvibes

Awesome pictures of the Castle Show, Wishes and the Christmas Parade. But boo to the rude pushing and shoving. I think that's part of the reason I don't watch a lot of parades at Disney. I enjoy the parades but I don't like the constant invasion of personal space while waiting to see them.

People will never learn. Had the stood there nicely, their children would have been invited to sit with me and Des. I always invite kids as long as their parents aren't shoving them down my throats.

The Photo Pass pictures alone with Des and also the ones with Mickey and Minnie turned out really nice.

Thank you.

I'm not a wrestling fan but the fact that they are eliminating it from the Olympics shocked me. How can you remove one of the original sports? I don't get that decision at all.

There is still a very slight chance that they will put it back in...they will add one team in September; but then why say you are dropping it. I'm not hopeful, but I am praying.

It baffles me too! I have heard/read nothing but negative response to it being cut, so maybe the IOC will reconsider. I certainly hope so.

I have been blown away by the number of posts by wrestlers, coaches, etc. in their effort to change the IOC's mind.

I read the letter you both wrote on Facebook, very well written!

Thank you.

I wasn't kneeling. I was lifting up my butt to whip my own bottom. :smokin: popcorn::popcorn::

Sure you were, Tim. Whatever you say friend.

Suffer? SUFFER? I love IASW!!!!! :hyper:

No. Seriously. I do! :goodvibes

Did you fall on your head? :lmao::lmao::lmao:

No line? WOW!!!! That's a score!

It was awesome.

What are you? Hannibal Lectors' cousin or something? You're eating Mickey's BRAINS! :scared1:  :scared1:

I almost said who is Hannibal Lector and then I figured it out. I couldn't watch that movie. :scared1:

Oh, Boy. :lmao:

Stop it now.

Pushed their own kids? Really? :rolleyes2

You would never do that...I know you too well.

Great PP pics!

Thank you. :)

CRYING????? Don't you get enough snow at home? :confused3

Not nearly as much as you. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Maybe that is the reason you were crying. :rotfl2:

We have been very lucky this year...the most we've had at any time was three inches and that's only happened three times. It has all melted with all the rain we had on Sunday and the 45 degrees we had today.

That is awesome!

Yes, it was...we just really lucked out. I hope we have the same luck this December.

Sounds like you really enjoyed MVMCP. What a great night! :goodvibes

We loved it and will definitely do it again.

Kathy still praying that wrestling isn't cut !!Kyle is a huge fan of wrestling and I know a lot of youngsters who are on their schools wrestling teams !!!

I promised an update so here we go. I don't know how far I'll get as I'm doing laundry, but let's at least get it started.

It was now Monday and Mark's and my last full day at the World as we would be departing Tuesday morning very early on the unMagical Express; the kids were staying until Wednesday so they had another day and a half as they were on a 4:30 flight on Wednesday afternoon).

Anyway, we slept in a little and I didn't get up until 7:30 and then everyone else followed suit. I went outside to wait for the group and found this on the door:

December102012Day5001-1_zps92e015cd.jpg

We walked to Bus Stop 1 over by El Centro so that Mark and I could get him some coffee and me a cappuccino.

Before we knew it, a bus was pulling up and we were boarding:

December102012Day5002-1_zps611162e2.jpg

We were on our way to Downtown Disney and had a bus to ourselves yet again. A few pictures on our way to our destination:

And where is it we were going? Does this tell you?

December102012Day5013_zps0ac7222c.jpg

Well, if that didn't help, here you go:

December102012Day5016_zpse35b83d4.jpg

We were having our first ever breakfast at Wolfgang's. This was Des' request and since Nicki and I had planned the entire trip, I wanted to give her one meal choice. :rotfl2: I did get a little mad at her because she insisted on paying for our breakfast as a thank you for letting her tag along. I argued with her for five minutes and she would not give in. Stubborn redhead!

Loved the chairs:

December102012Day5014_zps44e521aa.jpg

It was a lovely morning so we decided to eat outside.

Before long, our food was being brought out to us.

Mark's chocolate chip waffle:

Andy's breakfast pizza:

Des' cornflake French toast:

December102012Day5021_zpsa034cd0c.jpg

What did we think? The kids loved their meals; we thought ours were just okay. I'd rather eat at Kona or Boma and don't think it is worth a special trip to DTD for breakfast.

After finishing breakfast, we all took a bathroom break and then walked to the bus area. On the way, we stopped for these pictures:

December102012Day5024_zps1ff659a7.jpg

December102012Day5025_zpsab544b35.jpg

Rather than get on a bus, we walked to Saratoga Springs to get our bus for our destination there.

Any ideas where we are going to spend our day?

Come back for the next update to find out.

I love WPE, but haven't eaten breakfast there. Interesting menu though!

Sweet of Des to pay, even if she was being stubborn! :rotfl:

Your update and all your pics from MVMCP make me want to return again for the holidays. Only, I think they way you did it was smart... beginning of December rather than the week before Christmas.

I think one of the moments I hate most when in WDW...maybe even more than the ride on DME, is the one where the trip comes to a screeching halt for a split second that moment you open the door and see that note for DME.

I have always wanted to try WGPE for breakfast. That cornflake french toast is very tempting...

Kathy, I was so sad to hear about the IOC decision as well. Pete wrestled in High School. It may not do any good, but at least you are all trying!

LOVED the invitations (yes, I am that far behind in responding). As for MVMCP, I would LOVE to go, it HAS to be better than our experience on Lisa's wish trip to MNSSHP! The pics are wonderful, as always and I loved the looks of your breakfast, even if it wasn't as tasty as you would have liked.

Before I leave, I just wanted to say

to one classy lady! I hope you receive all of the special expressions of love you deserve each and every day!

Ok, I am adding breakfast at WGP!! That breakfast pizza looks AMAZING!!!! I must try!!! Its so sad when the last day arrives. I must admit, I think its kinda funny how you all trickled in and now are all trickling out... First, Nicki and Todd and now you. :lmao: Maybe that is the way to do it so that its not so much shock. Although, it would be a MUST for me to be in the last group to leave. :rotfl:

It was now Monday and Mark's and my last full day at the World as we would be departing Tuesday morning very early on the unMagical Express
:sad1:

We were having our first ever breakfast at Wolfgang's.
Interesting idea. I don't think I'd ever seen a TR where someone ate breakfast there. I actually didn't even realize they served breakfast.

Well, I think that was very nice of her. :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

Any ideas where we are going to spend our day?
In a park? :confused3

Last day

The waffle looks yummy..I am pretty partial to chocolate chips :p

Happy Valentine's Day Kathy

That waffle looked HUGE!!!
So sad to see that envelope hanging on the door in the morning!
Can't imagine where you were heading, hmmmmm! I'm guessing MK!

First of all, HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY! :flower3:

Wow! Mark's waffle was huge! Or the plate was really little, one of the two. ;) I never even thought about Wolfgang Puck for breakfast. But, then again, we aren't big breakfast eaters and usually only eat breakfast one or two times during our entire trip.

Hum, headed to SSR to catch a bus. Wonder where you're going?

I would be so torn between the cornflake french toast and the chocolate chip waffle!

I am finally caught up. I don't even want to mention how many pages behind I was. :scratchin

Your party pictures are great. You really got some good ones of the castle. I wish we would've sat at the hub to watch the parade. next time for sure! Did you all enjoy the party then? It looks like you did at least.

I have not yet been to WPE, but hope to give it a try someday.

I hate golf. What I hate more is that the Olympics are supposed to be for the amateurs...so get rid of the pros that are participating..
I don't HATE golf, but if they are worried about viewership when they are making these decisions, Amateur wrestling is a whole lot more exciting and easier to watch! :thumbsup2

Trampoline?? Really??? :( I really don't like watching any of the Olympic sports where the scoring is up to the whims of a group of judges! I usually end up PO'ed at the obvious bias to determine who "wins." Wrestling match - you pretty much are certain who won it!!! ::yes::

And I totally agree on the Amateur vs. Pro comment! I understand why since the US amateurs used to compete against "Professionals" from other countries, but I still think it is a stupid idea! The Lake Placid USA Hockey miracle over Russia would not have nearly the meaning under today's use of Professional players! I rarely watch that joke of a sport called NBA basketball (between the overpaid crybabies and the fact they have no basic basketball rules that are followed). I definitely see no benefit to the Olympics having a "Nightmare Team" beating some other country's national team by 60+ points. :rolleyes2

And where is it we were going? Does this tell you?

December102012Day5013_zps0ac7222c.jpg
Maybe it's just me, but that menu just doesn't draw me in............ :scratchin

I did get a little mad at her because she insisted on paying for our breakfast as a thank you for letting her tag along. I argued with her for five minutes and she would not give in. Stubborn redhead!
Still, it was awfully sweet! Stubborn redhead....... :rotfl2:

Loved the chairs:

December102012Day5014_zps44e521aa.jpg
Yes, those are quite :cool1:

Andy's breakfast pizza:

December102012Day5020_zps148f7a96.jpg
When it comes to breakfast foods, I stick with the traditional. Give me a Cracker Barrel or an IHOP! That breakfast pizza looks simply :crazy2:

Des' cornflake French toast:

December102012Day5021_zpsa034cd0c.jpg
Interesting, but probably not enough for me to order it. I think the plain Belgian Waffle would have been my choice! :)

On the way, we stopped for these pictures:

December102012Day5024_zps1ff659a7.jpg
Loving those shirts! :lovestruc

Any ideas where we are going to spend our day?

Come back for the next update to find out.
I'm going to guess DHS! Mark needs some more RnR, and I know Kathy can't leave Disney without at least one more ride on ToT!!!
