I left you with us "securing" our spots on the curb. It was almost time for the parade to start, so Mark walked over to where we had saved seats on the curb (we were right near the Ice Cream shop. Mark arrived and said he'd rather stand and not sit on the curb since it is so hard for him to get up. Andy was going to stand too so he could take pictures. There had been a very nice family behind us, next to the "shovers and pushers". We asked the two young children if they would like to sit next to us so they could see better. Their faces just lit up like a Christmas tree and trust me there was some grumbling from the other people. Well, maybe next time you won't be so pushy and I would have offered your three kids the spot. 
We all got ourselves situated, Mark struck up a conversation with the two kids parents while we waited (turned out they lived about 45 minutes away from us) and we patiently waited. Here are some parade photos to brighten your evening:
