Hi guys!! I've decided to make some lists of things to do...if I save up enough extra money!!

1. I want to get my family one of those fun gift baskets delivered to our hotel. Does anyone have any recommendations for places that have done great jobs for them?

2. I want to do some special cakes. I was thinking the slipper dessert for 1900 Park Fare and then maybe a 6 inch cake with a Mickey & Minnie cake topper for my parents 25th anniversery.

3. I NEED to go buy my MNSSHP tix asap!!

4. I can make my ADRs SOON!! :yay:

5. I have a dilemma. I was thinking of ordering a few grocery items like water and stuff for breakfast, but values don't have fridges, right? Should I look into upgrading to a mod, a fridge rental or what? What would you do? HELP!!

Hope you are all haveing great days!!!

i would look into the fridge rental prices and see the price difference for having a fridge rental added to your bill over the cost to upgrade to a mod? i could be really wrong, but i thought that the fridge cost 10 dollars a day?:confused3

Hi Princess Momma---I actually saw your PTR in another post and wanted to check it out...glad I did. You will absolutely LOVE Disneyworld. I haven't been since 1995 but still it's a magical experience and one you will never, ever forget. Your first time always stays with you.

I'm on board and can't wait to read more. Seems like you've got a good plan so far :) We were supposed to go next month but we needed new furniture worse. We'll get there next year I hope...will give us more time to save up money and stay where we really want to.

I'm so sad to hear you won't be able to go this year!! I decided to use all of my tax rebate for this trip since I don't budget in that money into having for everything else. That's the only way I'm going this year!

I'm glad you're on board though...hopefully my trip will help you get some great ideas or something and hopefully you get a trip real soon!! You deserve it! :goodvibes

I actually think I'll do that...I still need to cancel my Park Hoppers and I'll probably just use the money from that to rent a fridge!

Hello!! I just wanted to let you all know some exciting news...

I've upgraded us to DELUXE DINING!!! :woohoo:
I know a lot of people think its too much food!! But I don't want to have to worry about food at all. I don't want to have to order groceries or rent a fridge or any of that...plus there's so many restaurants I want to try!!!

Here's the ADR's I'm going to shoot for in whatever my ticker says!!

Planet Hollywood, 1900 Park Fare (breakfast and dinner), Tony's Town Square, Akershaus, Le Cellier, Coral Reef, Sci-Fi Dine-In, Artist Point, Donald's Safari Breakfast, Big River Grille and Brewing Works, Crystal Palace, Liberty Tree Tavern and Chef Mickey's!! Yay!!!

I'M SO EXCITED!!!! It seems so far away...but its really not!! YAY

I really wanted to try 'Ohanas!! But that one was 'vetoed' as one to go by the fam. :sad2: And Tony's I want to try at least once for the atomsphere but its like my mom's huge must-do!! (that and Chef Mickey's). She loves italian food AND Lady and the Tramp, so we'll see how she likes this!

Ok...so upon reading random threads across the boards about MNSSHP, I realized that I had forgotten somethings. I will be in FLORIDA in SEPTEMBER. I do not want to be wearing a huge princess dress in that...nor do I want to dress Landon in something as hot as the Cogsworth costume I have visualized in my head. So I've switched our costume plans to me as Tinkerbelle and DS as Peter Pan...I think it'll be funny to have the little fairy be the bigger one. Ok, maybe it won't really be that funny, but thats my plan.

However...Colorado halloween's are usually quite chilly. (Except last year when I was nearly 40 weeks pregnant :lmao:) So perhaps I will do the original costume plans then! And, of course, if I do, I'll post pics for you all! :goodvibes

Subbing! Your little guy is just adorable! How awesome that you're doing Deluxe dining. :thumbsup2 I love the Tink/Peter Pan idea for costumes. Much more comfy in that Florida heat!

Thanks!! Yeah I am anticipating a lot of hot, mugginess, and rain!! But also a lot of magical fun!! Perhaps I will take pictures beforehand as a little teaser for MNSSHP!!!

Great idea! Love that! Too cute!

How cute!! Did you just google that? I will have to find it!! I'm probably going to wait until its closer to the time we go because I have no idea what size DS will be then! He's growing like a weed!

That sounds like a cute idea. :thumbsup2
Your plans all sound great.

Thanks!

Thanks!! I'm super excited!!

Hello all!! I hope that some people are still here. :goodvibes I have to go find all my threads I was following! I am always on at work (I'm a receptionist and have plenty of time) and it was just easy to bookmark stuff instead of sub them all and now I've been transferred. Oh well.

So...guess who gets to make ADR's on Friday?!?! ME!!!!!!!!! This will be one huge feast in Orlando. We are very excited for all the meals we will try to get...but we'll see how things work out. The food will really be the only "commando" part of this trip with all the ADR's thank to deluxe dining! But since my son (will be 10 months then) will be there, we don't really want to try to race to do everything outside in the hot, September, Florida sun. I definitely don't think we will be doing this whole tons of food and ADR's thing when he gets older, but I think it will be nice to be "forced" to have some breaks and sit down and relax inside some nice air conditioned places, ya know?

I'll update you guys back after all my ADRs are made. We're trying for 2 signature dining meals, TONS of character meals (seriously, you guys will have reviews for like half of them), and a bunch of other ones too!! When I get back in just over 3 months, be ready for food porn/reviews GALORE!! And of course, lots of other things like MNSSHP and such!! WOOHOO!!!

I'm still here! Yeah for getting to make your ADRs on Friday. Somehow, after the ADRs are made, it seems like smooth sailing from there on.
