Do you really enjoy Pizza Planet? I read somewhere that it was disappointing! Which is not what I want to hear!

We usually go there once while we're there. They have those personal sized pizzas, which the kids love. They also have a pretty good salad. I usually get a salad & cheese pizza. It's a 2 story building with an arcade & ordering downstairs. The seating is upstairs (they do have elevators as well). I can see where it would be disappointing, though, because it is not like the Pizza Planet in the movie. The do have little green aliens in there, though!

Landon with his favorite toy!:

My DS has the same blanket and stuffed Mickey! A couple of other things we have in common - Belle is also my favorite princess and I love me some Rodney Atkins, too! We saw him in concert with Brad Paisley last year and he was awesome. My DH loves his song "Cleaning This Gun." :rotfl:

I think your gameplan for the trip sounds pretty good. I wish I could convince my DH to do a Princess meal! He thinks we should wait until DD is old enough to appreciate it. BBB sounds like fun! I would loooove to get all dressed up like a Princess for MNSSHP! I can't wait to hear more of your plans!

I don't have much time to reply to everyone right now, but I just wanted to say I saw Rodney Atkins with Brad Paisley last year too!! I met Chuck Wicks at that concert!! But I also saw Rodney at Country Jam last summer and then it was just him at a local place when I met him. I saw him 3 times in 1 year!! Here's me and Chuck:

You didn't by any chance see them at Thompson Boling arena did you? I  Chuck! He and Julianne (Hough) are just about the cutest couple I've ever seen. Random story: Last December, Julianne was the Grand Marshall of the Knoxville Christmas parade and did a small concert afterwards. We couldn't go because DH's company Christmas party was that night at the exact same time. Well, we had decided to spend the night at the hotel the party was at since we didn't want to drive home late (we live about an hour from Knoxvill), and after the party I had to go down to the front desk for something. I hit the elevator button and when it stopped on my floor there was this gorgeous girl with the cutest puppy and a guy in there. I was off in my own little world (pretty sure I was ticked at DH about something :rolleyes1) and didn't pay much attention to them. After we got off the elevator, I walked up to the front desk and the clerk was like, "Wow, she really is more beautiful in person." I must have given him the "WTH are you talking about" look, b/c he said "Julianne Hough" and pointed behind me, where the beautiful girl from the elevator was walking past. I felt like such an idiot!!! And I was sooo ticked at myself for not realizing who she was and taking the opportunity to speak to her or get a pic. Oh well, maybe next time. Oh, and the cute puppy was actually Chuck's. ;)

I just read through your Pre-trip report.:goodvibes I think you have a great plan. I agree with other posters about the hoppers. We have gone the last 6 years and always had hoppers. This year we are going to try to do without them to save money. We looked back over the years and realized we only used them about 2 times each trip. I will let you know how it goes when we return. By the way, I have a son named Landon! He is now 17 and getting ready for his first prom this weekend! Enjoy that little one, they grow too fast!

Oh wow...ok yeah I'm definitely going to cancel them. I don't see us using them enough to be worth. I love meeting other Landon's! Some mom's these days hate when their childs name is common or not "unique" but I really don't care! Landon is a great name!! I can't even imagine my little guy going to prom!! WOW!! I hope he has fun!

We like Pizza Planet. The food is not bad and it's a cute atmosphere.

Ok well we'll still probably go to Pizza Planet then!! Sounds good to me!!

I think your gameplan for the trip sounds pretty good. I wish I could convince my DH to do a Princess meal! He thinks we should wait until DD is old enough to appreciate it. BBB sounds like fun! I would loooove to get all dressed up like a Princess for MNSSHP! Hi again!! I definitely think your DH should let you go to a princess meal!! Maybe you could show him the different ones they have because maybe he'd like the 1900 Park Fare one with a boy character as well (Princess Charming ) and her supposedly very entertaining step family!! Maybe he'd like something like that more that isn't like one big princess fest, kwim?

Oh, and the cute puppy was actually Chuck's. ;)

Hi again, again!! :rotfl: Thats so cool that you saw her though!! She is gorgeous!! I watch the 2 of them on Dancing With the Stars all the time! I love them!! They are so gorgeous and cute!! What kind of dog was it?? That makes me laugh because you know Brad Paisley's song "I'm Still A Guy" where it has that line "walk your sissy dog"? One time I saw Chuck talking about it and he was like "its funny because I've actually seen Brad walk a sissy dog!" I think it'd be funny if Chuck had one too!! He's yummy!!

The concert I saw them at didn't have Julianne though, it was just the 3 boys at the Pepsi Center and it was Chuck's first night on the Brad tour! And lol I gave him my number!! Bahaha...he never called but you just gotta take a chance like that!!

Do you guys think I should be Belle for MNSSHP and have Landon be Cogsworth or do you think I should be Jazmine and Landon should be Rajah?

I think I may have lost all my readers...but if anyone is still out there, I have many plans I'll be posting soon!!

I vote for Belle and Cogsworth! :thumbsup2

I think I may have lost all my readers...but if anyone is still out there, I have many plans I'll be posting soon!!

I've been MIA for about a week since DS has been sick, but I'm still here! Can't wait to read your plans!

Hi guys!! Glad to see I still have some people! yay!! :goodvibes

Ok so here are my plans so far...This is just what I have so far because none of the hours or anything are released yet and of course, all the ADRs are just what I want since I can't actually reserve anything yet :sad1: Oh well, just over a month!!

So we'll get there on Thursday the 10th, but sadly the only flight out wasn't until the afternoon, so we'll be arriving around 4. The good news is this probably means that our room will be ready! The bad news is that we'll have to wait for our luggage from Magical Express. Since this will be my son's first time traveling, I'm assuming he'll need a nap, or at least bedtime early. We'll unpack when our luggage gets there, but besides that, we'll probably just spend our first night exploring the resort and eating at the resort food court and going to bed early for our full day the next day!!

Friday, I want to wake up in time for the rope drop at Magic Kingdom, maybe even shoot for getting there early enough to try to be the family of the day!! Once we're in, someone will be sent to get fast passes and to get a times brochure for the parades, characters, etc while everyone else takes the train around to Mickey's Toontown Fair. We'll spend a while letting Landon explore Mickey and Minnie's houses and meeting any characters. Then my mom and I will get made up at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. This day will be spent on any must do rides in the MK. We'll definitely head back to the resort for a midday rest. Before heading back to the MK, dinner will be at 1900 Park Fare for Cinderella's Happily Ever After dinner (I switched this from CRT because I didn't think 2 table credits would be worth it...maybe one day though!!). After that, we'll be heading back to MK for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party!!

Saturday is Epcot day. Again someone will go get fast passes for probably Soarin' while the other people go to the character spot there. If we see anything we want to do in the Future World, we'll do it, but if not we'll head over and start exploring the World Showcase. When we're done exploring there, another midday rest will be needed at the resort. After that, we'll head back to Epcot and do all the attractions in the Living Seas before our dinner at the Coral Reef.

On Sunday, we'll go to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Only 3 rides are must-do's here...Toy Story Mania (which we'll grab fast passes for obviously), Tower of Terror and Rock 'n Roller Coaster. The other must-do's are The Art of Animation and Playhouse Disney Live for Landon. I'm sure we'll be able to squeeze all that in and more. So besides those things, we'll just do exploring and shopping and try to find as many characters as possible!! Dinner will be at Whispering Canyon Cafe, and if we feel like it, we may head back to DHS, but if not we may just explore somewhere else, like the boardwalk or DTD.

Monday we'll be heading over to Animal Kingdom. We'll start off by doing the safari and then get fast passes for Expedition Everest. Again, I'll be searching for as many characters as possible and try to do the kid friendly stuff. This will definitely be the most laid back day. I have strategically planned to go to 'Ohanas for dinner this night, so that after we can watch Wishes from the beach. Both of our MK nights somehow wound up both being nights of MNSSHP, so both of those nights have Hallowishes and I want to just see the regular one!

Tuesday is our 2nd MK day!! This day will be for shopping and for maybe the more overlooked things in the park. Such as story time with Belle or just exploring all the details that may get overlooked there by people who are just trying to get on every ride. But of course, we'll probably go on some rides like any we missed or any we just loved. Dinner this night is at Tony's Town Square, per my mom's request. Since we're not paying for MNSSHP twice, we may head to DTD after dinner and packing everything that is left.

Wednesday is our last day but luckily we don't have a flight until that afternoon. Breakfast starts at the Chef Mickey's in the morning and the rest of the day is set aside for DTD and the Boardwalk. One thing I must see is the Wedding Pavilion and Sea Breeze Point and just all the wedding areas too. Lunch will be at Earl of Sandwich before we sadly have to leave.

So those are my plans for far!! As you may have noticed, 3 of our 6 TS dinners are at deluxe resorts...this was kind of snuck in because I really want to spend some time exploring other resorts and this is a great way to fit it in!

So what do you guys think of those plans?? I would love any input you guys might have!!

I am still here, too! I just haven't had much time to spend on here lately. :sad1:

Your plans sound great! We'll have to swap Coral Reef stories after we're both back. And way to fit in meals, multiple resort exploring, AND Wishes from the Polynesian beach! :thumbsup2 One of my "must sees" is Sunset Point (I think that's what it's called!). You'll find plenty of stuff for Landon to enjoy!

P.S.--love that ADR ticker!

I found your PreTR in the siggy when you posted on mine, and wanted to come over and give you some tips, also it is a good read so far.
my comments will be in red after yours...they are just suggestions but hope they help out.

I have been to WDW about 15 times, lost count we went very often as a kid. but have been 3 times in the last 3 years with wife and last time with son...and wanted to give you some pointers on the wdw with the little one.

So we'll get there on Thursday the 10th, but sadly the only flight out wasn't until the afternoon, so we'll be arriving around 4. The good news is this probably means that our room will be ready! what we did with the flight, was kept him awak before the plan and feed him while waiting to board, so he would be nice and full, then during take off, DW nursed him on the plan with a cover up(not sure if you nurse or not) or give him a bottle during take off, this will help his ears so they dont pop while going up...it also worked to knock him out, he was asleep on her lap (if you do this make sure you have a blanket extra with you to put under him to make sure he is comfy) for the whole flight except the last maybe half hour of the 2 hour flight, which was nice not having to entertain him the whole time, then we let him play with toys and he had a DVD player we watched mickey mouse club house on that kept his attention.

Friday, I want to wake up in time for the rope drop at Magic Kingdom, maybe even shoot for getting there early enough to try to be the family of the day!! since i think you said he is an early riser, the Rope drop at all the parks is a must especially with a little one to get going on the rides and get there with shorter waits.
most all the resorts will have a spot at the front desk that you can get the park maps and a times guide for them so you dont have to waste time getting one in the rush of people at the parks.

also what we did with parker at MK worked out great, first thing you should go on is dumbo and if you want to send someone to get fast passes while you ride is a good idea, then i would go on peter pan, it always has a line, so go there after wards, then hit up poohs ride or snow whites adventure if you want, aerial usually has a long line so when she opens in the morning it is a good idea for that as well.

toon town does not usually open till an hour after the regular park does so it would be a waste to go there at rope drop unless they change it that time of year, but your time guide will tell you that.

also if you are planning on seeing the tink fairies go there first hten the princess line, then go see mickey....we got there pretty much right after toon town opened and the tink line was already very long because we went to see mickey first.

besides the 3 mountain rides, our little one went on everything in MK except the tea cups. he even liked pirates.

take advantage of the child swap pass, you just take your little one with you to the rides and ask for a child swap they will give you pass that you can use at any time to ride while someone stays with landon.

we used this on soarin and test track worked great.

he will love the character connection.

he will love playhouse it is a good show.

if you get there at rope drop, have someone go straight and get fast passes while the other ones wait around the hat int he middle of the park, there are usually at least 5 or 6 characters that come out right away to sign autographs we got lilo and stitch, chip and dale, and donald, pluto goofy, and daisy came out shortly after that.

advice on TSM, landon can ride, but will have to sit straddling someons leg, so he is under the bar, the cars turn very fast when going in between the shooting stations, so make sure you have a good hold on him, especially his head when going in between stations, i pinned parker against my chest while moving, dont want your little one to get bounced around.

make sure you see lion king show, it is great for little ones with all the lights color and music, parker loved it.

like i said they are just suggestions, and some ideas to help you have the best trip with a little one possible.

take full advantageof the baby centers at all the parks, they are such a nice way to relax and have a quite private place to feed your little one, and a good place to change them.

MK is located next to crystal palace,
Epcot is located in an old building between test track and the start of world showcase on the mexico side.
MGM is in the front of the park on the left side where the city hall info desk is.
AK is located just past pizzafari on the way to the savanna ride.

hope i did not get you upset with any suggestions or tips, just letting you know what worked for us and some things that we learned from not doing them right and now now the right ways to do them.

oh one more tip, strollers, many people love the disney strollers, where they do have some advantages they are not always the best, like when you leave the park, you dont have the stroller to put him in, or when you go to dinners at other resorts you need one....the best one we found was at babies r us...
http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3155458
that is the stroller we picked up in the store, they had normal colors but the orange worked perfect...when you leave your stroller when you get on a ride, it is never in the same spot...the CM's move them constantly to make more room, it is so easy to find it sticked out like a sore thumb, you would be suprised how many parents would be looking like crazy for there stroller when getting off.

it also was great to fold up fast and easy and had a latch on the side that kept it closed had a bag in the back for extra stuff to store.

and for under 20 bucks, it it gets broke or damaged in anyway no biggy.

there was no way we were taking our expensive one to get throw under the plan at the gate and such.

sorry i am dont rambling now, hope this info helped,

:surfweb:now i need some coffee after all that typeing.
:goodvibes

Thanks!! You go so soon!! I can't wait to read your TR!! And to hear about Coral Reef. Are you a seafood person?? I'm starting to be...except I mostly eat lobster and crab legs...one of my goals for the world is to venture out beyond my usuals safe foods...steak, chicken strips, etc. LOL! So I don't know if you're a food porn person or not, but try to be at least for the coral reef especially!!

Sorry you haven't been on much? Are you just super busy? I hope all is well!!

I will definitely be doing things when I am out and about with Landon to make sure he can sleep in busy places. He is a pretty good sleeper and napper, but usually when there is a lot going on, he fights it!! He doesn't want to miss anything!! Hopefully though the bottle trick will help.

since i think you said he is an early riser, the Rope drop at all the parks is a must especially with a little one to get going on the rides and get there with shorter waits.most all the resorts will have a spot at the front desk that you can get the park maps and a times guide for them so you dont have to waste time getting one in the rush of people at the parks. also what we did with parker at MK worked out great, first thing you should go on is dumbo and if you want to send someone to get fast passes while you ride is a good idea, then i would go on peter pan, it always has a line, so go there after wards, then hit up poohs ride or snow whites adventure if you want, aerial usually has a long line so when she opens in the morning it is a good idea for that as well.toon town does not usually open till an hour after the regular park does so it would be a waste to go there at rope drop unless they change it that time of year, but your time guide will tell you that.

You're MK info is SO helpful. Especially about ToonTown. I didn't know they opened later, but I will keep that in mind and be sure to also verify specifics when I go. I think now I may change the game plan to Dumbo first...because I really want that ride more for the photo op than anything and don't really want to wait in line for it. So thanks for your tips!! So do none of MK's rides have height requirements really? (Except the mountains?) And do you think that the tea cups would be okay if we just didn't spin or do they just spin too much going around by themselves?

Does the parent swap pass work the same way as fast pass? Like do you have to put your ticket in a machine to get it or what?

These are seriously some awesome tips!! Thank you so much!! I read your whole TR yesterday but I can't remember...did you guys ever take breaks back at your resort or was your son able to just nap in the stroller?

oh one more tip, strollers, many people love the disney strollers, where they do have some advantages they are not always the best, like when you leave the park, you dont have the stroller to put him in, or when you go to dinners at other resorts you need one....the best one we found was at babies r us...

This is a great plan!! Thats what I was actually thinking of doing and then I saw someone have a whole rant about how uncomfortable their child got after sitting in it a lot of the day...did this happen to Parker or was he fine? Reading that made me 2nd guess it but I don't want to bring an expensive stroller either!

I will definitely be doing things when I am out and about with Landon to make sure he can sleep in busy places. He is a pretty good sleeper and napper, but usually when there is a lot going on, he fights it!! He doesn't want to miss anything!! Hopefully though the bottle trick will help.
we found that when parker was tired he fell asleep, if we were on a ride he fell asleep or rolling around in the stroller he fell asleep on his own.

yep make sure you check the times i dont want you to miss the opening, but it has always opened later, i will look for the site that shows the ride heights for you. they might spin a little fast, or have a height requirment, you might have to ride it first and see what you think

Does the parent swap pass work the same way as fast pass? Like do you have to put your ticket in a machine to get it or what?

Do the characters change around the hat throughout the day? And does TSM have parent swaps?
nope, you just go up to the CM working at the fast pass line and ask them for a child swap pass...and they will give you one, usually it means that 2 of you would have to go on the stand by line, but i did grab a ridder switch and not go in the stand by line just acted

they do change during the day, i thinkthe times guide says what characters are there and what times.

yep pretty sure TSM has the parent swap.

These are seriously some awesome tips!! Thank you so much!! I read your whole TR yesterday but I can't remember...did you guys ever take breaks back at your resort or was your son able to just nap in the stroller?

nope we never take breaks at the room, takes to long to leave and get back.

in MK he fell asleep on us in buzz, then we held him while asleep in people movers, then he slept all through carousel of progress.
Epcot, he slept through the space ship earth,
MGM he slept a little during the day after nursing, then just fell asleep in the stroller as we walked around.

i think you will find that he will sleep when he gets tired enough either on a ride, or while being pushed around on the stroller.

nope he was perfectly fine in that orange stroller we got at babies r us, and he still loves it. that stroller is really great, and not big and bulky like the ones you can rent, and they do seem really hard that would not be comfy for little ones while being pushed around.

as your preTR goes along, i am sure i will have more tips for you, or ask away with anything you are wondering

 I followed you over from my PTR! Your DS is adorable! I love the name Landon! I've decided I want to do 1900 Park Fare instead of CRT too... but I'm still thinking about paying OOP for CRT! You've picked a lot of the same restaurants that I want to go too!

Sorry you haven't been on much? Are you just super busy? I hope all is well!!

We don't actually eat much seafood, but I do like it. That's one of the reasons we're going. I'll be sure to take lots of pics for you...if it won't be a spoiler!

Yes, just busy. The kids are busy with end of school year activities, plus we are trying to get together a garage sale before we leave!

Hi guys!! Sorry I've been gone for a while!! Landon had an ear infection  and was just miserable. :sad1: So guess what I got in the mail this week? A most coveted pin code!!! Alas...it was for Disneyland. Boo. I can't do both trips and I'd honestly much rather go to the world. Oh well...still waiting on something fun from Disney World!!

 I followed you over from my PTR! Your DS is adorable! I love the name Landon! I've decided I want to do 1900 Park Fare instead of CRT too... but I'm still thinking about paying OOP for CRT! You've picked a lot of the same restaurants that I want to go too!

Hi!!! Thanks for stopping by!! Thanks, Landon is a good name I think!! I love the name of your PTR!! I think everyone has the whole indecision and obsession thing! There's just so much!!
