6 kids under the age of 6 take on WDW, will Santa still visit when we get home?

I'm contemplating....should I do a PTR for my Mom and sis trip? It seems SO far away, particularliy when you can't book ADR's at 180 days anymore...sniff, sniff.:sad1:

Well... I think you should! But then again, I started my ptr over a year before trip #3, so I might not be the best person to ask! ;) :rotfl:

Hurray - Santa came!!! :santa: :yay: :yay: :yay:

Love the Top Ten lists (yours and the kids), and the Christmas Eve pjs and the boys all dressed up for church looking so handsome! They're actually wearing ties and smiles at the same time. I just have to ask - were they real ties or clip ons? I have 2 brothers and I remember them always having clip ons when they were little. :rotfl2:

Love the top ten lists! I love that you had the boys do their own too. They look so cute in their Christmas pj's!

PHEW thanks for clarifying. 20min doesn't sound too bad at all to me. And like you, we plan to get there EARLY and use FP as well! Thanks!

Also - you said MVMCP made it on your top 10 list! I've heard such mixed reviews. So you must really think it's worth the extra $50 per person, eh? Did you get naps that day or your kids survived the whole day on the go? I'm just so afraid my girls will be zombies by 8pm and cranky! I was thinking if we DO go that I'd have a non-park day and relax at the hotel till 4pm when we can arrive.....but I'm still scared! My kids are normally asleep by 730p! Yikes!

And so happy you got the watch! It's GORGEOUS!!!

If your in the parks early and follow a plan of a attack, that is key to doing it that time of year, especially with the kids (as you know!), the first day we floundered and it killed us with wait times (we learned that everyone goes to MK on Monday morning, the hard way!!), so every night during our "deck" time, we made a plan of a attack and it was HUGE it worked and made all of our lives a lot easier and enjoyable on the parks.

I LOVED MVMCP! I know, it's got a lot of bad reviews...we lucked out, we went on Thursday night and for whatever reason, it was just perfect and we learned it was the least crowded night of that entire week, so maybe that made the difference? I do think it's worth the money and would do it again in a heartbeat, but that's just my opinion. It's a lot of money but the magic was worth it, we literally walked on rides, we had the park to ourselves at times, it was neat and so very pretty. The kids loved it, too. We didn't go to any parks that day, we went to DTD (in the rain!) and took it easy, we were suppose to have the kids nap, we never did, we ran out of time and we were out until 11! But they were great and trust me, 8 p.m. is bedtime here, too....but we took it easy and slow that morning and it worked out. I think if you tell your girls it's a quiet day and just play at the playground, sleep in some, maybe shop, try a nap, they'd be fine...it's so neat at night!!!!! You'll have to let me konw what you decide!:goodvibes

Me too, I love my watch!!! It's so pretty and different!!!:lovestruc

Oh no! I didn't mean to make you feel bad, just throwing a possible explaination out there, is all. I just can't think of any other reason why a dog would be allowed on a Disney bus or in the parks. :confused3

Not sure if I'll do a PTR or not, but I know I'll do a TR when we get back - it's just such a loooooooong time from now - December can't get here soon enough!

Oh no, don't worry about it, I just felt horrible after reading your post it could be medical..I never thought about it!!! So figured i better apologize anyways, just in case!!;)

Keep me posted on your PTR, I konw what you mean, I'm thinking of doing one of my Mom/sis trip but it's 6 mos. away! That's a long time to try and figure out what to post...lol!!:rotfl:

Hi Kristen -- I've been lurking on your trip report and just wanted to say how much I enjoyed reading it. Your boys are adorable!

Sounds like you had a great time with your best friend and family. Your report is getting me excited for my August trip which is with my 2 best friends and their families.

Looking forward to reading more of your trip reports, hopefully a pre trip report for your next one. By the way I love how you surprised your mom!

Hi Robin!!! Thanks for saying hi and thanks for reading my TR!!! It was fun to write and relive with you all!!:goodvibes And you have a best friend trip, too, coming up!!! Yay!!! You're going to have SO much fun!!! Will you do a ptr? Let me know, would love to live vicariously through you!!!

Thinking about doing a PTR...not sure yet, will let you know. Thanks again for reading!!!!:goodvibes

Hi Kristen! What an amazing end to a TR! This pics of the kids are adorable as always, it looks like you had a fun Christmas. I love the idea of a top 10 list too! Having the kids make their own is an adorable idea. So glad you got the watch! Can't wait to see the other souvies you picked up, I'm sure they are great :goodvibes

Hi Lauren! Thanks for all your nice compliments!!!! It was a fun way to end my TR, I felt like I just couldn't write THE END and that was it!!! Hoping to post my souvies post today, I didn't think we bought that much, but we did...oops!!! Nothing really big, but it adds up...stay tuned!:goodvibes

Okay first off, love the matching PJs on Christmas Eve.:thumbsup2 How adorable.

What a unique top 10 list. I love how the kids included simple things like eating at Pinocchio Village Haus. It brought back one of my favorite memories from our very first WDW trip. We toured MK one night after returning from mid-day naps. While most everyone else was watching Spectromagic and Wishes we were walking onto rides. We ate really late that night at Pinocchios and there was literally just one other family in the whole joint. We had our pick of any table next to the window and the girls had great fun getting the riders of IASW to wave as they went by. Thanks for helping me to recall that precious memory.:cloud9:

Thanks, don't you just love the matching jammies!!?:lovestruc They will probably kill me one day for that picture, but I love it, they are so stinkin' cute!!! And what a find for me to find all their sizes in the same jammies!! :cutie: Got to do it when I can!!!

Aww, what a great memory you had at Pinocchio's Haus, too! It's the little things that give you those favorite memories, isn't it? It sounds like a great night you guys had!!!!:goodvibes

Wow...just found you TR today and have enjoyed reading about your adorable family. I have been contemplating starting my own PTR but am afraid that I will not be able to keep up once I start so I have procrastinated and done nothing!:goodvibes

Anyway, you have a beautiful family and I am looking forward to our own "deck" nights.

Hi!! Thanks for joining me and reading my TR!!!!:cutie: It's more work than you think, but it's SO fun!! Write one, I'd love to follow it....everyone on DIS is very patient and will do it at your pace. Let me konw if you decide so I can take a peak!!!

And thank you for your nice compliments on my family!!!:cloud9: Ahh, deck nights......they were the BEST!!!:thumbsup2

Great update again.

I can imagine trying to keep Cole sat still on a plane:lmao: , that could be fun.
Love the top ten list and Lucas throwing in the one not from Disney, kids are so stinkin' cute.
LOVE the pic of the boys in their pjs on christmas eve. That is adorable. I wish I could find things now and then that matched for my 3 boys. I usually can find either the older two or the younger two but not all 3.
Glad to hear you did get your watch ok. Can't wait to see the souvie pics, thanks for sharing the Christmas pics.
Hi Tracy!
Thanks for all of your nice compliments!!! Aaahh, Cole on the plane ride home was a handful to say the least!! I can't say I blame him, but it was tough for Todd & I to keep passing a 25 lb. baby over Ethan's head every 5 minutes...lol!!:rotfl: Ya, Lucas and the pumpkin patch hay ride...I had to put it in, but we all looked at him like, what?:confused3 LOL!!!:rotfl: Kids!! :) Loved those jammies from chilrens place!!!! Your boys are a bit older than mine, but usually I have luck there trying to find their sizes...actually, I just got them all matching sweaters for our Christmas card next year ( I don't usually dress them all the same, just certains times), they were only $4 a pc.!:yay: It's the little things in life that make me happy!! LOL!!:cutie:

Well... I think you should! But then again, I started my ptr over a year before trip #3, so I might not be the best person to ask! ;) :rotfl:

LOL!!:rotfl: I'm just not sure I will have a ton to write about for 6 months, you know....but it's been so fun and I would love to keep in touch with you all!! So maybe...stay tuned!!:goodvibes

:rotfl2:

Yes, he did!! I know, you were worried!!:santa:

Thanks for all of your compliments!!!:goodvibes The ties...they were clip ons!! I have NO idea how to tie a tie, so these worked, plus they would probably strangle themselves with a real one...or each other!! LOL!!! :lmao: Boys will be boys......

Love the top ten lists! I love that you had the boys do their own too. They look so cute in their Christmas pj's!

Thanks, LL!!! Don't they look so cute in their pj's? That's my screen saver...my little boys....they are so cute!!!:cutie:

Hi everyone!

Just a quick note to say THANK YOU for letting me share our trip with you all. :goodvibes It was SO much fun writing about, sharing my pictures and reliving the trip by doing so, you helped me drag my favorite trip out a couple more months. I really appreciate all of your nice comments and compliments through it all and hope we cross paths again in the future!!

Happy Planning!!!
Kristen :flower3:

Oh, another precious picture. Great TR.:thumbsup2 Are you going to start a PTR for your mother's birthday trip?

LOVE that picture, so precious!

If you do decide to write a PTR, can you post a link here so we can find you? I'd love to read about your girls trip. I know what you mean though about the trip being a long ways off, I'm in the same boat, except mine is even further away than yours, seems like a long time to try and keep a PTR going!

I love that picture. I know exactly the spot it was taken too!

Love that last picture  Was that at Disney

I am glad that you were able to get your watch too!!!

Thanks for writing this great Trip Report!!!:woohoo:

I love your final picture! I have been sick and I just got finished with the report. I am glad that Santa made it. Thanks for sharing your report. I really enjoyed reliving it with you.

Hi Kristen...OMG!!! I love that picture!!! What a great ending! I have a tear in my eye...stop doing that to me!

ADORABLE final pic!! Too cute!!! Thank you so much for sharing your trip with us. I'm anxiously awaiting your next trip!! :goodvibes

What a wonderful ending! I love the pj pic! That's one to share with their fiances someday.

Thank you for sharing your trip with us. I enjoyed it!

I would at least start the thread now. It seems like as soon as I labled my TR complete it was moved and people could no longer post. This way at least your readers will know where to find you.:goodvibes

Your report was so much fun to read, thanks again for sharing your story.

I'm not sure yet if I'll do a PTR, I know what you mean about it being so far away and we're not going until August. Although the (obsessive compulsive) planning has begun. I'm a DVC owner and we are doing a split stay -- 3 nights at the Treehouse Villas and the rest of the time at Animal Kingdom Villas. Everyone is so excited to try out these new resorts it's hard not to get excited even this early  But I have another trip coming up first in April so I think I'll probably focus on that and when I get back it will be time to think about August. I'm sure you have already thought about what you are going to do on the trip with your mom -- once you have the trip planned it's hard not to think about it. Let me know if you decide to do a PTR -- I'd love to follow along.

Oh, and your last picture was absolutely adorable! You should have it framed as a nice reminder of your family trip!:)
