So I left you off where I was bawling my eyes out....I couldn't stop! The tears just kept coming and coming....between the magic of the show, the looks on our childrens faces, the Disney music and knowing that in just 24 hours, it would all be over, we'd be back home, I'd be missing Tracey and the kids, Todd would be back to work, the reality hit me and hard!
But I did manage to enjoy Fantasmic through my happy and sad tears with my family and best friends around me...it was another magical moment for me and I hated for it to end, is all.
Gosh, I could cry just thinking about that moment now....
We really like Fantasmic, mostly because the kids get really excited to see all the characters at once, to see Mickey winning his battle with the dragon, and the great light show they put on. It's a neat show. I apologize for the lack of pictures here, I just couldn't wipe my tears fast enough to take any and I wasn't having any luck taking dark pictures with lights, so I just kept all the memories inside and enjoyed the show without taking any pics.
Fantastmic ended and it was time to head out of MGM and back to POP. We all said our goodbyes, which was a tradition now, after leaving each park for the last time that week, we all would say goodbye, outload and wave as we were leaving. Just one of those things the kids and I would do.
It was SUPER crowded getting out of the show, we were like cattle getting back to the bus stop but we made it and got on our bus to go home for night. It was a nice way to spend our last night at Disney, with a bang and to see the characters that make our trips so special for us. We all enjoyed it.
When we got back to POP, Tracey and I ran into Everything Pop to see if there was any word about my watch through guest services and Todd & Adam went to get the kids ready for bed. The mangager at Pop had NO idea what I was even talking about, so asked if they would call OKW gift shop and see if they could help me figure things out. It was about 9:30-10 by this point. They tracked down the watch but they were so busy that they didn't have anyone that could bring it over to me, they said to check back in the morning and they'd see what they could do for me.
Tracey and I got back about 1/2 hour later and the guys ran to Everything Pop to get some treats for we adults
and our nightly drinks....coffee, tea, hot chocolate and we had a plan to meet out on the deck for a bit before starting to pack. Todd also through in a load of laundrey so we had some clean sweatshirts, etal to wear home since we wore them in the parks more than we had planned too that (cold!) week.
Here are some pics we took on our way out to our "deck"---
Sweet dreams baby Cole....
Sweet dreams Ethan & Lucas...sorry for the scarey face on Ethan, why is he sleeping with his eye open? LOL!!
And he was sleeping....
We enjoyed an hour or so outside chatting and having our snack together laughing about all the great moments we had this week and the memories we had created together. It was about 11 or so and we decided we better get in and pack. We had decided that the guys would bring our luggage down to be held about 6, in hopes to beat some of the crowds down there. Last year we went down about an hour before we were going to be picked up and we waited in line forever!! So we thought we'd get it out early, before anyone was up and then we could enjoy our day. We didn't have flights until later in the day so our plan was to have a leisurely breakfast and head over to GF to check out the gingerbread house and decorations before waiting for ME to take us to MCO.
Todd & I went in and finished packing what we could and I got in bed about 12:30 or so, Todd went to finish up the laundry and didn't get back until 2 (I never even heard them come back!!)!!
I guess there were others doing wash and it took longer. He went to bed and at 5:30 a.m. I had Stitch screaming in my ear again......
