6 kids under the age of 6 take on WDW, will Santa still visit when we get home?

So I left you off where I was bawling my eyes out....I couldn't stop! The tears just kept coming and coming....between the magic of the show, the looks on our childrens faces, the Disney music and knowing that in just 24 hours, it would all be over, we'd be back home, I'd be missing Tracey and the kids, Todd would be back to work, the reality hit me and hard!:sad1: But I did manage to enjoy Fantasmic through my happy and sad tears with my family and best friends around me...it was another magical moment for me and I hated for it to end, is all. :wizard: Gosh, I could cry just thinking about that moment now....

We really like Fantasmic, mostly because the kids get really excited to see all the characters at once, to see Mickey winning his battle with the dragon, and the great light show they put on. It's a neat show. I apologize for the lack of pictures here, I just couldn't wipe my tears fast enough to take any and I wasn't having any luck taking dark pictures with lights, so I just kept all the memories inside and enjoyed the show without taking any pics. :goodvibes

Fantastmic ended and it was time to head out of MGM and back to POP. We all said our goodbyes, which was a tradition now, after leaving each park for the last time that week, we all would say goodbye, outload and wave as we were leaving. Just one of those things the kids and I would do.:cutie: It was SUPER crowded getting out of the show, we were like cattle getting back to the bus stop but we made it and got on our bus to go home for night. It was a nice way to spend our last night at Disney, with a bang and to see the characters that make our trips so special for us. We all enjoyed it.

When we got back to POP, Tracey and I ran into Everything Pop to see if there was any word about my watch through guest services and Todd & Adam went to get the kids ready for bed. The mangager at Pop had NO idea what I was even talking about, so asked if they would call OKW gift shop and see if they could help me figure things out. It was about 9:30-10 by this point. They tracked down the watch but they were so busy that they didn't have anyone that could bring it over to me, they said to check back in the morning and they'd see what they could do for me.

Tracey and I got back about 1/2 hour later and the guys ran to Everything Pop to get some treats for we adults :rolleyes1 and our nightly drinks....coffee, tea, hot chocolate and we had a plan to meet out on the deck for a bit before starting to pack. Todd also through in a load of laundrey so we had some clean sweatshirts, etal to wear home since we wore them in the parks more than we had planned too that (cold!) week.

Here are some pics we took on our way out to our "deck"---

Sweet dreams baby Cole....

Sweet dreams Ethan & Lucas...sorry for the scarey face on Ethan, why is he sleeping with his eye open? LOL!!:rotfl: And he was sleeping....
Disney1208493.jpg

We enjoyed an hour or so outside chatting and having our snack together laughing about all the great moments we had this week and the memories we had created together. It was about 11 or so and we decided we better get in and pack. We had decided that the guys would bring our luggage down to be held about 6, in hopes to beat some of the crowds down there. Last year we went down about an hour before we were going to be picked up and we waited in line forever!! So we thought we'd get it out early, before anyone was up and then we could enjoy our day. We didn't have flights until later in the day so our plan was to have a leisurely breakfast and head over to GF to check out the gingerbread house and decorations before waiting for ME to take us to MCO.

Todd & I went in and finished packing what we could and I got in bed about 12:30 or so, Todd went to finish up the laundry and didn't get back until 2 (I never even heard them come back!!)!!:scared1: I guess there were others doing wash and it took longer. He went to bed and at 5:30 a.m. I had Stitch screaming in my ear again......

Stitch woke me at 5:30 a.m SCREAMING in my ear, I rolled over and said something to Todd but then went back to sleep!!!!!!!!!! And so did he!!!

I subconciously rolled back over and looked at the alarm clock and realized it was just about 6,when Todd & Adam were meeting out front to help each other get all of our luggage down to the front desk!! So I woke Todd, got up as fast as I could to get into the shower before kids woke up, Todd sent a text message to Adam so he wouldn't wake the kids and said he would be a few minutes late, washed up quickly and met Adam outside to get the process started. About 10 minutes later my kids started waking up so one by one, I got them dressed and cleaned up for the (long!) day we had ahead of us.

We had thought we'd get to breakfast about 7:30 or so and then head to GF, but it was probably closer to at least 8 by the time we had all of our acts together and were ready to leave our rooms for the (sniff!) last time.

Here are some shots on the way to Everything Pop for our last breakfast together....

We had a great breakfast, used a TS for this today and had it leisurely. Aftewards, we took turns doing our potty breaks and I head up to guest services to see if my watch had come yet?:confused3

There was another manager on at this point, he knew NOTHING of what I was talking about and found my 'old' watch just sitting next to the computer with a note but didn't even know to look for that! I was a bit miffed, even though it wasn't his fault that it wasn't done. He called OKW AGAIN to check on the other watch and they couldn't find it!!! So he went through the entire thing again, found it and told me they would ship it free of charge to me at home, that there was no way it would make it's way over by the time we left POP. :sad2: I was disappointed but was happy to know they found it and I could (eventually!!) have it. :yay:

We headed to the bus stop to take the bus to MK so we could take the monorail over to GF to check out the gingerbread house and the Christmas decorations.....:santa:

We got on the bus pretty quickly and were on our way to MK so we could get the monorail to GF. Here are a few pics of us on the bus (can you tell I was trying to document everything this last day?!!):

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!! LOL!!:lmao:

And we all thought this was strange...this woman on a scooter gets on the bus with a DOG! And not a service dog of any sort..this tiny little lap dog! Am I the only one that finds this to be peculiar?? Sorry, not a great pic, but you can kind of see him...weird!!

We finally make it to MK (sniff, sniff!!) and head for the monorail, we were hoping to get to ride in the front, but there were already people waiting for it, it was just not meant to be.....

We arrived at GF about 10 or so and head in to find the gingerbread house, we could smell it so we followed our noses....on the way we were checking things out....it's really beautiful in there, it was my first time seeing it.

This is for you, LL!!

continued....

And there was the Gingerbread house. I had been dreaming of this all week, and I have to say, I was disappointed. :sad2: It was beautiful and I do appreciate all the work they put into it, but for some reason, the picture in my head was much more GRAND than it actually was...anyone else agree?:confused3

Disney1208521.jpg

Not exactly what I was hoping for! Oh well, we had so many taken this week, I guess I can't complain! ;) I think Ethan was starting to feel the pain of having to leave Disney, Hailey, Zach and Emmi, too....:sad1:

And me & my BFF!! Before the tears!!
Disney1208525.jpg

It was about 11 or so and we needed to get back to POP, Tracey and Adam's ME bus was coming at 12 to get them and we were an hour later. We jumped back onto the monorail for the last time and headed that way....

Up next...time to say goodbye!:sad1: :sad1: :sad1: :sad1: :sad1:

WOW the pics are amazing I have to go for the holidays!! It sounds like fun I just came back from my trip so I am trying to catch up but FYI I saw the lap dog on the picture it is strange. AWW the goodbyes :sad1: :sad2: say it aint so.

Awesome pics... actually I didnt realize how HUGE that gingerbread house is. It is always so sad when you leave. Our flight out is at 7am, I figure it is like a bandaid better to rip it off at once  than linger in the morning being so sad that it is our final day.:sad2:

Wow great updates! So sad though, the end is always rough. And you had to say goodbye to your BF so it was extra sad. :sad1: But I must say, I was cracking up at the picture of your son with his one eye open while he slept. So funny! Your pictures were all great, even if the kids weren't into the pictures they definitely make for some great memories :goodvibes:

I'm sad it's the end, but at least we have a little more to look forward to!

Awwww. Why does it have to be your last day!?! :headache:

I know, how'd it get to be my last day already?!! And I did pretty good job dragging it lately....here goes the goodbyes! :sad1:

You're making me cry!!! It sounds like you guys really made the most of your week...every minute you had!!! And you get to start making MORE plans!:cheer2:

I'm surprized you didn't notice me in the background, at the GF...schlepping that train all over the lobby...LOL!!!:rotfl:

We made our way back to POP, in time for Tracey & Adam to take a potty break and get out to the ME bus stop. We walked them out to ME and said our goodbyes but not for good, we were only an hour behind them, so we said we'd see them at MCO. We tried getting on their bus but there wasn't any room, which was fine, it gave us time to grab a bite to eat, spend some quiet time with our boys and freshen up some a bit before getting our bus.

We went to back to Everything Pop for the last time and grabbed a quick lunch with the boys.

Afterwards, we had some time to snap some last pictures of Pop that we hadn't during the week.

We got through security with no problems and made our way to our gate to find Tracey and Adam's gate to be across from ours. We weren't even there for 10 minutes before they started loading Tracey and Adam's plane. I couldn't believe it was time to REALLY say goodbye. We gave our hugs and kisses and waved until they couldn't see us anymore. Tracey and I were hysterical and I already missed her SO much as she walked down the gangplank to board her plane but knew I had this entire week of memories forever imbedded in my heart and mind to keep me going until we met again. :goodvibes

Was it smooth sailing all the way home? What happened on the plane ride home? Stay tuned....:upsidedow

Heading over to your TR now!!:cutie:

I've loved looking at your pictures of WDW at Christmas time. I can't wait for our Christmas visit.:thumbsup2 The tree at MCO is impressive too. Love the pictures of the POP! Too funny you took a picture of the lady w/ her dog on the bus.:rotfl:

What a great update Kristen! Love the sleeping pics. I always take those of my boys. It's about the only time they hold still, lol. Glad you threw in some more pics of the places Christmas decorations. It's getting me very excited to see it all for the first time when we go this year. I didn't realize the gingerbread house was that big. I was surprised when I saw the kids standing in front of it. Love those family shots, lol. It seems as though that's how mine always turn out, you have high hopes but the children have other ideas. So sad to hear about you having to say goodbye to Tracey. I can't imagine having to do that with my BFF. Glad to hear they finally got your watch situation figured out. Hope it arrived safely to your house. Can't wait for the next update even though it will draw your TR to a close. You'll have to come visit me on my lame pretrippie so we can still chat.
