Just did 8 days of DDP with reservations all online. Only took about 1/2 hour the first time. The 100,000 changes I latter made took about 1 hour combined
I really did change a tons of reservations but did it all online, super easy! I would recommend this over using the phone, which I have done in the past. My wife did try to call today to get the Pirate League but after 8 calls the lines were still "full" so I wold guess a phone issue at WDW today
The best thing I ever learned about making disney plans is to let a travel agent make your plans. It saves loads of time and energy! As far as I know most Disney related travel agencies don't charge you a dime for their services!
The lesson of the day: If you can't book your ADRs online, never try to call the Dining Reservation phone line on the first day of a Free Dining offer!!!

The thread title says they were making ADR's....
OP, that's a *really long time! I was on hold 2 hours yesterday morning to add free dining to our package. I thought that was a long time I'd definitely use the online system if you've got to make any more ADR's. It's quick and easy!
