6 adults and 2 children --- do I need a van?

I have a mini van on hold ---- but with a total of 8 people I think I might need a van --- what do you think ?

Would appreciate any input as to best place to rent one.

I'm sure they are very expensive.

We are staying off site .

I would say for safety eveyone needs to be buckled.As most minivans are they seat 7.Ther are 3 soloutions to your dilema
1)Stay pat and hope all goes well and safe.
2)Rent a bigger van or SUV that will fit your party.
3)Rent the mini-van and a small car that 2 or 3 people could travel in .
I would try option 3 as it might be the cheapest and easiest way to travel.Goodluck have a great trip.

I also agree with option 3. You can get decent rates for a minivan and a compact car. Maybe even get 2 intermediate cars. But the prices for the larger van are outrageous IMHO.

The problem with most of the towncar companies; they grow and have to hire independent drivers to fill in. If you get one of the owners or regular drivers your service is good. The independent drivers are more of hit and miss. Given the price of gas they might not even be getting enough of the fare to make money.

Yourrride used to get good reviews until they grew and started to use more fill in drivers. If your flight is delayed, you have to fill out lost luggage forms or you take too long at your grocery stop your driver may be late (or even have to cancel) his next pick up.

People with complaints really should write to Andy. Help them know which drivers to drop.
