I know I keep bringing this up, but does anyone want to meet up at the port?? I hope to be in there once they open and I'm sure it will be at least a 2-3 hour wait before they actually let us on the boat... Wasn't sure if we were going to stake a claim to a section and chit-chat there?? I'm not sure I'll be able to meet at currents as I have to go where the Mrs and kids want once we get on the ship!! haha...

Plus I know we're all going to be at the port at some point in time!!

Anyone??

I will be there about 10 ish...i will be the one in the Wheelchair with the BIG white dog... lol

Luckily the toe LOOKS worse than it feels! I have the pleasure of a desk job, so I spent most of the day with my shoe off and ice on it. It could be a lot worse, right?

I just looked at page #1... I was poster #2, November 13 2009... This trip has been 19 months in the making and it's nearly here! We leave in 7 days, 12 hours - Friday morning, 9am. Not looking forward to the 3-ish hour drive to the airport The things we'll do to save a buck (or several hundred, in this case).

WOW, 2009!!! The wait should be worth it!!

I am such a planner but not an 'act'er...just ordered my FE gifts! They shipped today but I've been assured I will get them before we leave.
On a side note, tomorrow is my birthday . It's a celebration from here on out, DH's birthday is the 5th and DS's is the 12th.

I'm game - I'm a little concerned how crazy my children will be at that point. I guess you could just approach the lady with 3 kids bouncing off the walls! Well - two will be. One is way too cool for that.

FE gifts are finally done and packed. Pirate costumes for the girls are packed. It's getting closer and I can't wait.

Oh my word. PACKING the FE gifts! Um, that's a good idea and one that I only thought about in the abstract! I should probably figure out how that's going to work!

Hi everybody!
Sorry I haven't been on this tread in forever. This will be our 4th dcl cruise and I'm sad that this will be our first cruise not doing the FE exchange. Oh well - We'd still love to say hi to everybody! In looking thru the last few pages of this thread it looks like some folks want to meet up in the terminal. That's a great idea since we'll all have time to kill in the terminal and once we're onboard there will be soooo much to do.... If no one has come up with a meeting place yet - how about meeting outside at the end of the terminal (where you can look up at the ship) maybe on each hour; or on each hour and on the half hour, just to see who's there and say hi. I bet folks will be passing thru at different times that morning.

We're going to try to get to the terminal early. Has anyone heard whether us early birds should line up on the sidewalk or whether the walk over from the 3rd floor of the parking deck opens at the same time and may be an advantage? Guess we'll go with the sidewalk if we don't hear anything else.

We have the second port time slot (what time was it? 10?) but are getting there early. I will keep a look out for other green Mickey wearers & will pop by the meeting place!
