6/7/11 - It's a double dip DREAM!

Did we decide on kids only for the FEs or everyone? Can someone please list the FE "expectations", for example, once a day, once for the trip, or what? I want to get started -- this is my first time doing the FE and I want to hold up my end of the game.

Hurry up summer!

Really whatever you want to do. The idea is to find something in your FE at least daily - multiple times daily is fun too. With as many people as we have participating, this won't be a problem at all. Some will do one day, some multiple days, some just kids, some just family, some adults and kids. We're going to do a couple of days and have something for everyone.

Whatever you do, HAVE FUN WITH IT!!!

Thank you for posting this!!! I just happened to check here last night, before going to bed. I didn't know they were going to open online booking for these either! Thanks to your post, I was able to get a cabana for serenity bay! :wizard:

I'm glad it helped! and I'm very jealous! With the girls, we have to have a family beach one. Oh well, my brother doesn't know it yet, but Mom and I have nominated him to be our drink deliverer now!

Pirate night... anyone dressing up at all?

I have some fun skull & crossbones jewelry, and a pirate bandana to wear in my hair. Thinking about adding some other accessories, but don't want to look like a complete dork... just wondering if people really do dress up as pirates for pirate night?

Shadow did dress up...

Last time we cruised, my husband and I did the romance package and enjoyed the spa for the day (no massage).

Can the day trip to the spa be booked on the cruise or should I book before hand?

I bought my pirate top on our first cruise while at Key West.

I've bought the kids a few things to wear. We are still looking for something for my husband to wear.

Cute costume! I can't decide if we'll dress up or not...better decide soon, though!!

What's everyone's thought on a group meet? Anyone know of a day or place on the ship we could all meet up for 15-20min, just to say Hi? Some could also try and meet the night before the cruise for dinner? Just some suggestions!

I'm up for a meet. We'll be in WDW for 4 nights before the cruise. We're staying at the Villas at Wilderness Lodge.

Okay, here's a suggestion............I haven't seen any one mention this before but if some of us are at the port before they start boarding, and we are trying to pass the time while waiting to board, do you think we can set up a meeting spot in the terminal.........or is that a bad idea??? Maybe around 11:15 or 11:30 before boarding begins? What do you think????:confused3

I hope to get there between 10:15 and 10:30.

I bought a cute "bling" skull & crossbones that I will attempt to iron on to a cute white shirt.

** I looked up costumes on line a couple of weeks ago and found a totally skimpy pirate girl and told my sons I was going to wear it. They did NOT find that joke funny, but I laughed and laughed! :rotfl:

My husband has been talked in to wearing a skull & crossbones bandana and my teenager agreed to also. My 4th grader will be decked out and our 3 year old has a striped pirate tshirt and a cute pirate hat. That's about all the effort we will be putting in to pirate night! ;)

Hurry up summer!

I am doing one per cabin. My gifts are more "adult" (not like that, just not something kids would be interested in). My mom will likely do one per person (if she made enough), or at minimum one per kid. Do what works for you. No one is going to check off a list and see if each participant gave something (at least I hope not!)

 50 days until we depart blustery cold northern Minnesota for sunshine in Florida!:yay:

Okay, so I'm "safe" to print and shop based on this spreadsheet?? And does the color coding mean anything??

Thanks for all the organizing!!

Did you get it at Michael's??? Because I found one there and that's what is on our FE! How cute that would be on a shirt.... :scratchin

To help my 4-year-old understand what "48 days" looks like, we made a Disney paper chain.

I found the printed strips on another site (I forget which, mouse for less maybe?), free to download, I just had to cut the strips out.

Why, yes, Kelly I did! :sunny:

Ironing is pretty much the extent of my crafting. :confused3

Although, I did happen across some magnet tape and made some quickie FE magnets. Magnet tape?! Who knew?! That is SO genius! I am still so pleased with myself! haha :cheer2:

OK - both of you, post pictures!!

Magnet tape rules, see below. I got a thermal laminator for my birthday (they run about $40 at Wal-mart)... that plus a lot of printer ink, some pixie dust from other DIS'ers, and voila: door decor!
