Hey everyone! My family and I are going on our first Disney cruise in June! I'm also new to this site. Looking forward to chatting with you all!! My kids will be 12 and 9 on the cruise and my niece will be 4 and nephew 1. I'd love to hear from all of you!

This thread is awesome! We have a spreadseet that lists everyone on the thread. If you want to be added, let me know. Check it out on the previous page, that way you'll get an idea what information is on there. We also have a FE going. If you want to participate, let me know.

There are quite a bite of children going that are your children's ages. I have a 11 year old daughter and a 9 year old son.

Welcome, Lisa! This is a fun group! FE is fish extender. I ordered mine on ebay but lots of people make their own. Go a few pages back in this thread and there are pictures. Alicia

This is called Fish Extender or FE for short. Outside the staterooms are "Fish" clamps for notes, etc. People that participate in the FE, make pocket type holders to hang from the "Fish". People in the group leave gifts for them in the FE.

This is kind of like a "Secret Santa" exchange. Everyone that participates gives and received gifts.

If you look at the top of this forum under the *** DIS DCL FAQ - New Alphabetical Listing of DCL Information ***
you will find details and instructions for making a FE. However, some people buy theirs off of sites like e-bay.

Me, too! Just ordered a cute sun hat and plan on wearing as soon as it arrives to (annoy?) get everyone here in the spirit.

Hi everyone. We will be traveling from Arizona for our first Disney cruise. In fact, the first cruise at all for the kids DD 10 DS 17. DW and I have been on RCCL for honeymoon and Carnival 3 years back. Looking forward to the Dream that is the Dream.

Coming in Friday to get 3 days at the Parks and staying at the Poly (same place we stayed when last in WDW 4 years ago). I tried to talk the family into staying Beach Club but was out voted.

Everyone seems so welcoming and friendly.

Castaway Cay is looking better and better. June can't come soon enough!

After getting almost 2 feet of snow last night...we are so ready for our first Disney cruise! I'd love to be a part of the FE and get on the spreadsheet. What do I need to do? On the cruise will be me, my DH, DD (12) and DS (9). We're also bringing my mom, dad, brother, sister in law, niece (4) and nephew (1). We're staying at the Radisson on the 6th.

We are SO excited and can't wait to meet everyone!!!

O....M....G! I can't believe the picture of the snow and the 22 inches! We got a "big" snow a couple of weeks ago. I say that lightly because we got all of 8 inches! But here in the South, that was a lot! and it stayed with us for a WHOLE week! We were so sick of snow and I kept thinking how people up North would probably smack us for complaining!
