I requested the Swan and they have queen beds instead of doubles. Not that it is a big deal but I figured why not?!?!?!?

I called DCL about 5 days after adding the S&D to my reservation the and CM told me we had reservations at the Swan. Then he said, oh I see that is what you requested.

I have no idea if and where else they stop....Let's hope no where so we can get to the ship sooner!!!!

we always fly the day before a cruise. We have had too many bad experiences with flights overbooked bad weather, and people forced to get off-most of those wih usair. since we have started to fly SW, we have been lucky, but you never know when some difficulty will arise.

i wish i could fly in a day early but mari has a dance recital on june 12th and i have used the extra vacation days when i went to ireland on a whim for spring break. we flew in the day of on our august cruise and did fine getting a nonstop arriving at 1030

Are you flying out of Columbus or Cleveland? (or somewhere else) Both of these cities have nonstops the morning of the flight (Columbus at 7am and Cleveland at 8am). If you are already holding Southwest flights it is easier -- and free -- to reticket on Southwest. QUOTE]

i will be flying out of detroit. im in toledo, ohio. i did have tickets through southwest but found the nonstop through northwest.

Hey.. I didn't know we were neighbors ~ I am in MI (between Detroit & Port Huron). My DD & I were just in West Chester (just N of Cinci).

What flight are you booking home? I booked Southwest at 12:10pm connection in Baltimore.

So does everyone agree that getting the cars for Key West is a waste of money and just jump off and on the trolly?

Is so , then I am going to cancel our cars and just do the trolly.

I am working on one of our DIS gifts. I am also trying to brain storm about what the website should look like.

I have heard from others on here that it is difficult to find parking spaces, I don't know though.

We are doing the Trolley (On / Off), Lunch at Jimmy Buffet's and then Parasails with all my new friends via the Fury.

That is the ONLY excursion we have planned. My friend recommended a place to eat but I forgot so I FB'd her. **My friend recommended El Siboney ~ www.elsiboneyrestaurant.com **

Of course, Jayde will say "we can eat on the ship". But I want to try something new & exciting... I think its Cuban food.

Can't wait!!!!

DH thinks the trolley and the cars are a waste of money. He says we can walk everything just fine! OK MARINE....maybe you can, what about the rest of us! LOL

I would think the trolley would be better bc then you would have an idea about where you are at instead of trying to depend on a map!

I heard the same thing.... figure the island it NOT that big & to have to find parking ~ UGH! We were going to rent an electric cars but looked into it a little more. Do I really want to have to figure where I am going or where to park? Not really!

Yeah, that's why we are doing the trolley, I can just picture us walking around with our GPS in our hand trying to find the Southernmost point.

I know!! I really want to go to bed, but I have to do the Easter basket for Jordan, and she is still awake.

My DD is still up too, but she is older. I will be able to do hers tomorrow morning..teenager, sleeps in WAY longer than we do!
