We have a regional fair/festival that started yesterday. It has real good food and other vendors selling their stuff. And of course my DS loves the rides. We will going on Sunday.

Just paid off the cruise....FINALLY. We cut it close b/c I was waiting for insurance reimbursement from DD's braces.

Now I'm kicking myself for not buying any insurance. DH's father just got news today that they are stopping all of his treatments for his cancer. Nothing is working anymore. The oncologist had made an estimate that the end could come as early as May or June. Needless to say, this is putting a damper on the cruise excitement. Hopefully, this won't be an issue b/c I believe in miracles and I'm praying for one. He has been battling colon cancer for over 5 years now.

I am relieved to have the cruise PAID in FULL!! Now I can start planning a little more.

Lots of and 's to you. Your family will be in my prayers.

Wanted to say Hello! I have been swamped at work this week and lost a litl one that I worked with/ did not make it thru his surgery... he was 4 ... I already told about my friend passing away ... I am heading to his funeral tomorrow and to top it off my hubby lost his job yestreday..... hmmm glad the week is over!!!!!!

Hi Everyone! We are back from 2 fun filled days at Disneyland. We spent so much time with so many special friends. It was a blast.

The new Celebrate Parade started today and all I can say is it is the 1st and probably the last time I will watch it. It was ok, not worth the wait however. I LOVED Parade of Dreams, it was just AMAZING! This one was just ok.

Nope- there are 3 times for each:
5:30/5:45/6:00 main
8:00/8:15/8:30 late

7 day Western Cruises [per 1/30/09]
PLAAPLA 5:30 and 8:00
LAPPLAP 5:45 and 8:15
APLLAPL 6:00 and 8:30

6:15 and 8:30

YEAH! We picked late seating and LOVE the 8:00 rotation. I love being in Lumiere's on Formal Night and Parrot Cay on Pirate Night!!!

Usually when you have small kids and late sitting you get the 1st late seating. I am so hoping that we get PLAAPLA!!!

Anyone staying at the Hyatt on Friday?

Not this time around but we did stay there for the TA in 2007. It was great!

I am disappointed however to find out that the Disney Cruise transfers do not pick up from the value resorts. I changed my Club Level room at the Poly to the All Star for the 1st 2 nights of our trip before the cruise just to find out they won't pick me up there! UGH!!!!! Back to the drawing board tomorrow!

I'm hoping for some good company at dinner too, if anyone is interested in eating at Main Dining seating 5:30, 5:45 or 6:00 - with a family of 2 (myself/and DS 14) let me know- and we'll see if we can link our reservations together - especially someone with close aged DS or DD but it doesn't have to be...we get along and have fun with everyone!

We would be happy to share with you but we are doing late seating. If there is anyone out there on late seating that would like to pair up let me know.

As for making magnets...I use a xyron machine. If you scrapbook you know what that is. If you have a friend who scrapbooks ask to borrow it. It is GREAT. You print your magnets on whatever paper you want. Then you run it through the machine and it places a really good magnet on the back and laminates the front. If you buy the cartridge for the machine at Joanne's or Michaels and use the 40% off coupon they have each week in the paper. You get 10ft of magnet/laminated roll for about $13-$15. Just another idea for those shopping around.

Ok I am off to bed. I will be creating all the magnet requests in the morning.

Have you considered hiring a town car, SUV or van? Ace Limo, Happy Limo, Southern Elegance. Depending on how many in your party, it could be less than your DCL transportation and you chose your pick up time.

I have seen on some other threads people saying that they get their magnet paper from http://www.decalpaper.com/category-s/5.htm. They say its a little thicker and sturdier than some of the other. I haven't decided for sure, but this is where I am thinking of ordering ours.

Unfortunately, they charge $10 for shipping.... don't understand why people are charging sooo much for shipping.

Found some at Kmart $13 for 5 sheets but will keeping looking. OfficeMax has 5 sheets for $12.

That is what I am doing right now...I printed them on card stock and I am cutting out the little pirate edges...now just dreaming of the cruise!
