Looks like many of the swim times are at 12 and 1pm. We should plan on trying to leave the pier around the same time - maybe 9:30am or 10am and all share taxi vans. You know, safety in numbers! Then we can get some group and family photos when we get there (and still looking fresh!)
Here's some more details for those who booked it on their own, not thru DCL:
"The snorkel equipment is not included; it is available to rent for $15.00 USD per gear.
The transportation is not included, every one has to take a taxi and it is approximately $15. - $20 USD per cab and the taxi fits 4 people unless there are more than 4 then you will need a van and the fare is approx. $35 - $40 USD to the national park Chankanaab. "
Also, towels are not available there (showers are) and those can be picked up by the pool on deck 9 prior to the excursion. Just remember to return them back to the ship.
Also, there are several of us adults that are not doing the dolphin swim, so if others might want to join us and just enjoy Chaakanaab, even for half day, its only $16. Plus there's a $2 off coupon on their website! http://www.cozumelparks.com/
safety in #'s, the same way as when we go back to the ship.
.
we need those frameable and scapbooking photo's!
????I didn't know you could request I thought there was only one time for Main and one time for Late.We requested 8pm. They don't make any guarentees but we are hoping...![]()

Meeting and sharing taxi's is a GREAT idea. I agree

I would love to meet at 9:00 or so and grab a ride to share with someone.
Fresh Photo's - Perfect Suggestion and I could not agree more, much better than looking like a wet dog afterwards,we need those frameable and scapbooking photo's!
Are you going to organize this for us????
) and disembark all together. I'll have to take a look at the ship areas to figure a good meeting place unless someone has a suggestion. Then we can have another meet up at the park for those that want to go back to the ship earlier. Of course our group of 9 has the 3:30pm royal swim (3 swimmers, 6 observers
) and we won't be leaving till 4:30pm or so. So for the early diners, that may be too late to get ready for dinner. Although, it is pirate night, and by the time we are all done with the swim, snorkel, excursion and nice and sunburned, we may all look like a bunch of grungie pirates
and will fit right in for dinner!
I'll be glad to be the organizer. Maybe we can meet somewhere on the ship (just like they do for DCL excursions, 'cept ours will be a Dis excursion.) and disembark all together. Nope- there are 3 times for each:
5:30/5:45/6:00 main
8:00/8:15/8:30 late
7 day Western Cruises [per 1/30/09]
PLAAPLA 5:30 and 8:00
LAPPLAP 5:45 and 8:15
APLLAPL 6:00 and 8:30
Tell me what the abbreviations stand for to this again? I am trying to figure out if my brunch or morning spa ressie might affect the day of character dining. Of course its all dependent on which rotation we get. We can only request, but it is not a sure thing. I found response to day of character meal on the boards (came from a frequent cruiser moderator): "It is the first sea day you eat dinner in PC [or the first sea day after you have dinner in AP...same difference really."
