6/13/2009 Western on Magic

I have to get my act together and start checking out the excursions. I have enjoyed reading trip reports to get some ideas. Although this is our 7th Disney Cruise, it is our first 7 night and I can't wait to make additional plans. I will post our possible excurions as soon as I do a little more research.

As far as a DIS meet ... count me in ... I would love to have one. I've attended them in the past and have had a great time!

I will throw one out there. This question had been asked but we have had a lot of additions. What excusions is everyone considering?

For us:

Key West - none - We are meeting family members to spend the day
Grand Cayman - Pirate Boat Adventure
Cozumel - Dolphin Swim
Castaway Cay - none

Have a good week.

For us:

Key West- renting an electric car, seeing some sights, getting key lime pie at some point(LOL)
Grand Cayman- possible beach excursion(don't know if on our own or through DCL yet)
Cozumel- Dolphin Encounter!!!!!!
Castaway Cay- beach and me parasailing- yeahhhhhh!!

If anyone is thinking of doing Stingray City in Grand Cayman and has some reservations- you should just go for it- I did it a few years ago on a "girls only" cruise with family- one of the most awesome things I have done to date. We did the Castaway Ray's at CC and it didn't even compare!!! I am not doing this excursion in GC because DD freaked about the stingrays at CC- I'm not wasting my $$$$$. Any questions- I'll try to answer.

Happy Monday!

We haven't made many decisions on this yet. Here is what we are thinking about.

Key West- we are thinking about renting an electric car also and stopping by Margaritaville
Grand Cayman- maybe snorkeling?
Cozumel- Maybe Tulum Ruins
Castaway Cay- beach and biking and snorkeling

Also, we need to add my Mom and Dad (DGMa, DGPa) to the list as they are going with us. We added a cabin for them a few weeks back so that make 8 of us in 3 Cat 12's

Our next question should be how many Cat 12's have we booked?

Castaway Cay-DD & DDF(dgts friend) are para-sailing, DH-snorkeling, me on the beach

I have been busy like we all get.LOL
and so I haven't been able to get on as much and miss talking to you all.
And for some reason I don't get the auto updates to my email?? So I don't know when you all are on.

Perfect question of the week. So far this is what we have planned.
Key West - Old Trolley Tour (on and off)
Grand C - Rays, Reef,Rumpoint (Nativeways)
Cozumel - Nachi Cocum Beach but want to do somethig else in the AM
Castaway Cay -Not sure yet

I think a meet would be a great idea. Are we also thinking about FE's?

To piggyback with what Disney Fans mentioned. The idea about another communication avenue sounds like a good idea to me. We have to remember this is a very public board and though we like to think of this a disboard family - many many people are reading these threads. I am not Facebook savvy - I don't even have an account. But I think maybe getting another secured group is good idea. Maybe a secured yahoo group or something.

Anyway - this is just a thought, many may be comfortable with posting detailed info. But it may be more fun and we can get more detailed in a more private setting.

yes, that is what is great about Face book you can make it so that just your friends can see what you write. If you want you can PM and I will send you my name which is the only one on face book with my name.LOL and then you can either ask me to be a freind or send me your email and name and I can then send you an evite by FB ( it is very easy)
